We missed the breakfast offered at our hotel, so we searched Yelp for something not far away and saw Nudy's and one other place on Bridge Street. The other place did not appear to be open so we ended up at Nudy's. It turned out to be a good omen. We were seated promptly about 10:30am. The menu is extensive with breakfast being served all day. We started with coffee, $2.99/cup, with refills. My wife ordered the Salmon Florentine ($15.99) - two poached eggs, with spinach and salmon topped with hollandaise sauce, served on an English muffin with home fries. She did not care for the hollandaise sauce and thought the home fries could have spent more time on the griddle getting crisped. I ordered the Farmer's omelet ($12.99) - I don't know how many eggs, but it seemed like more than two, with ham, sausage, peppers, onions, and bacon. It came with a side of home fries, and I chose to add raisin toast for an upcharge of $.35. I agree with my wife that the home fries would have been more to our liking if they were crispier. The toasted raisin bread was very good. It was thickly sliced and flavorful. I also enjoyed my omelet, but I can't say it was outstanding. After reading another reviewer's comment, I do feel obliged to comment that the men's restroom was very clean. I did find it very difficult to connect with Yelp while sitting inside. Heard about Nudy's on TV. Going thru town, gave it a try... Service was good, food-meh. Breakfast potatoes looked & tasted like leftovers. Sausage was on cool side and wrinkled. We stopped at Nudy's for breakfast on our way to the outlets. Parking was super easy. We were greeted and seated right away when we arrived. The menu offers lots of options from basic breakfast to upscale dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious! Our order can out super fast too! I think we were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Every time I have been to Nudy's - this location or any others - the service and food have been excellent.

This was one of those places that I constantly drive by and always meant to try but the hours aren't third shift friendly. Last Sunday I finally got the chance and I'm glad I did. When we came in the place was packed (always a good sign) but there was no wait. If there's any complaint I have (not enough to remove a star from) the tables are packed TIGHT! When I sat down I was practically in the lap of the guy behind me. Any closer and we would've been engaged. Our waitress Rachel was on point! Straight fire as the kids say these days!! She was polite, funny, and constantly on her game. Our water glasses never went dry, and she had a smile and a joke every time. As for the food? *chef kiss* They had me at raisin french toast (YUM) the flavors and the portion sizes were better than I could've hoped for. My brunch tag team partner went with the banana-walnut french toast and it was a hit too. This place is definitely worth your time and money, just a heads-up to ownership. Please watch the spacing with the tables, also there has to be a way for the waiters who work outside to open the door. First, they don't put that the ingredients are on the outside. Second, they didn't even chop up the omelette veggies.. they were huge. The cheese in the burrito is cheap wax coated walmart cheese. I was shocked they don't shred their own. The guaq was bland. & the salsa tasted like the canned salsa you buy to put out with chips at a football party. It lacked flavor and felt very half a$$ed. If you're looking for a local restaurant for breakfast this is definitely giving that diner vibe for you to enjoy! The menu was quite extensive but I decided to go with one of the Benedict. I chose the crab Benedict which is a crowd favorite. Overall the meal tasted land like it wasn't seasoned. I wish there was a big note flavor going on. The nice thing though was that the ingredients looked like they were fresh. I think a few tweaks could have made the dish amazing. I had to salt my food and I usually am one who never adds extra salt or pepper to anything. I think I may return to try French toast so we'll see if that experience is different! read more

This was my second visit but this time I chose a new location. I paid a visit to the Nudys in Malvern & it was just as fun. I came with my dad his sister and my two cousins. Everything was great. The food was hot, the portions just right and the service was attentive. This location is in a great neighborhood and centrally located. My dad is handicapped and it was no problem with our entrance or exit. I got breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon & home fries. It was delicious!! The two things that stuck out were the pancakes-omg probably the best I ever had. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the portion was just what I wanted. Decent breakfast. Not the worst Not the best. Omelet was ok and home fries a bit bland. I always wish restaurants would use cleaning products that are non Toxic. The purple liquid that was used to clean the tables next to us smelled like fabulosa-one of the worst and most horrible smelling cleaners. Restaurants--There are less toxic and still good inexpensive cleaning supplies. Please look into them. And keeping the bathroom clean would be another plus. read more

We were trying to be "healthy" by substituting home fries for fruit, but that costs an additional $3!! That is pretty pricey just for fruit and it's not even a big amount of it. The Cinnabon pancake we shared was delicious! My omelette was the worst I've ever had - it was flavorless and flat. Adding ample salt to my hash browns made them edible, and I'm not one to add salt to food. My recommendation? Order sweet foods, skip the rest. I'd only ever return for the pancakes. read more

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The French toast is always really good, and my servers have always been quick and attentive when it comes to checking up on us and making sure that we have full drinks. The food is also pretty filling, and we usually have to get boxes every time (which isn't a bad thing). I will say when we do come here for an early lunch, they have the BEST French fries too. I wish I could remember my servers name from the last time we went because she was very sweet and did her job very well. Waited for a bit for a table of six-they take no reservations. Extensive menu with lots of diversity and a "specials" page. Waitress was fabulous. The vibe was old car dealer turned restaurant with big windows (aka old garage doors) overlooking the street. Noisy, lively, and filled on Sunday at noon. We've been here a few times and always for breakfast, although they do also serve lunch. If you get there much past 9am on a weekend, be prepared to wait. The place offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The decor feels a bit old fashioned to me and the men's room was horrible. But we come here for the food and it's always consistently good. Many of their specialty French toast items sound delicious but also very unhealthy. On this last visit, my kids got the pancake which they said was good. My wife and I both had omelets which comes with hash browns and toast. Portion sizes are pretty large, but fortunately their prices are not. In fact, their were so many plates on our table, that there wasn't really enough room. There is no dedicated kids menu but they do offer single pancakes (size of dinner plate) or short stacks. Service was just OK. We had to ask for our toast as she forgot. In short, good food, large portions, and reasonable prices. It's definitely better than a diner and I'm sure we'll be back at some point. read more

My daughter and I ate at Nudy's this morning. We were seated immediately and waited on by Axel, quickly. They were friendly and understanding. We placed our order and received the food very quickly. I ordered carrot cake french toast and my daughter ordered strawberry cheesecake french toast. The portions were good. My French toast came with nuts and raisins on the side, which was great but my advice would be to chop the nuts up a bit and to put the raisins and nuts in cups on the plate instead of just throwing them haphazard. By the time the plate got out to me, any presentation was destroyed and just looked like misc food scattered around. The strawberries had an odd taste, like they were older and on their last days. For the price, it was a bit disappointing but since we've had decent visits in the past, we will try Nudy's again another time. read more

I ordered a club sandwich today and it was absolutely disgusting. The turkey almost made me sick it tasted like it had gone very bad. The avocado was brown and the bread was soggy. It was just gross. Probably the worst club sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. I have no idea how this place stays in business with how poor the food is. They charged me $4 for a little cup of orange juice. If you seen one Nudy's menu you seen them all. I wish that they would diversify their food choices at their different locations a little bit. Perhaps have a signature dish at each location. My family and I were driving around the countryside and happened upon the Nudy's in Phoenixville. This was great news for the kids because they basically knew what to expect. I like to try new places and frankly would've rather tried the same exact restaurant with a different menu. The atmosphere in this particular spot is fairly standard but roomy. Our service was excellent and over all the food was very good. I think this location might be slightly better than it's sister restaurants. All of my breakfast companions ordered breakfast and gobbled up stacks of fluffy pancakes, a yummy ham and cheese omelette etc. etc. We remembered to ask for the home fries to be deep-fried. They were like a nest of crispy French fried potato that could easily become addictive. My husband ordered the smoke salmon and bagel platter. The ample portion of smoke salmon was fresh and delicious paired with tomatoes and capers and a bagel. I think I would substitute deep fry'd home fries for the bagel if I order that dish next time. But there I go again trying to change up the menu. I my tuna melt was garnished with perfectly cooked crispy bacon and grilled tomato slices. I originally asked for it to be a closed sandwich but that was missed in the translation and came out wrong. My server quickly changed the open face melt in the kitchen and I have to say it tasted better than it looked. And it looked fine. All in all we had a better than average experience at the Phoenixville Nudy's. I would recommend this restaurant to any nice family looking for breakfast or lunch. Hardly any turkey, fries (which they up charge you $3 for - and on DoorDash there is no option to not choose) and no Mayo. Listen, I love & support local/small business, and especially now during the pandemic where so many restaurants are struggling, I want to do everything I can to help good, local restaurants stay open. Unfortunately Nudy's on Bridge Street can no longer be considered "good" at anything & there are many better options in the area that I will give my business to. Especially now, if you want people to go out and eat at your restaurant, at least try to make it a halfway decent experience that's worth the risk/cost. At this point I'd much rather stay home than eat here again. I've hesitated writing this review, but after numerous terrible experiences in a row at the Phoenixville Nudy's it's time. I hope they take it to heart and turn things around. Cleanliness/Ambience: This place has gotten grimy. Especially during Covid & after watching them barely wipe tables down with the same dirty dishrag, they really need to fix this. Oh and it's FREEZING COLD inside to the point we saw multiple tables (including ours) rush to get out of there. It was a cold day and apparently the heat inside the restaurant either isn't working or can't keep up with the fact the door to outside dining (which is right next to half the inside tables) was open every 30 seconds on a frigid day. My kids ended up getting hot chocolate literally for warmth...inside. Service: On a recent brunch trip, our food came out in "waves" with my omelet coming first, then around 5 minutes later pancakes, and at another time, over cooked eggs Benedict that had to be sent back, so my options were to eat cold eggs & wait for everyone else's food to arrive, or have everyone else at the table watch me eat. Side orders are regularly forgotten about these days, and when reminded that we ordered bacon on a recent visit, the waiter barely seemed interested then a few minutes later brought out a plate of 3 cold, undercooked, sad looking pieces that we ended up sending back. A side order of scrapple just never came. And don't even think about getting a refill on your coffee...not just because the cups are filthy and coffee cold, but because the servers just don't seem to care. You would think that after screwing so many things up, the restaurant would do something, anything, to try to make it right...but again, they just didn't care, even when they asked "how everything was" and I was respectfully honest with them. Food: Mostly edible, but damn has the quality gone downhill. We used to get so excited to eat here knowing that even if the service was spotty & prices on the higher end, that the food would be top notch...but not anymore. It's mediocre, poorly prepared diner food now at best. Advice: Clean the place. Treat your guests like guests & not like they should just be happy to be there. Fix the heat. And recommit to QUALITY. Awesome. Just plain awesome I usually get the Reuben or an Eggs Benedict, but this time I went off the beaten path. Instead, I had the Melba french toast and was glad I did! It was thick bread used and cook to perfection. Not sure if they use butter in the pan, but it did not taste greasy or lathered with too much. The "Melba" in the middle (which I couldn't figure out what Melba is) was a raspberry and cream cheese whipped together filling. No need to add syrup to this dish! The wait time for our food has always been quick. Not extremely busy at the time we were there, but I thought it was still quicker than the local diners in the area.
