The cute tuxedo cat that visited us 5 years ago was there! What a nice surprise. Dinner, wine and service were all excellent. When I noticed a dish had feta cheese, I requested bleu instead. They did not use the feta on the risotto and gave me a generous portion of their Birchrun bleu cheese on the side. Delicious! Iparticularly loved the almond cake with strawberry compote dessert.

Our waitress was kind, attentive, and very professional. We each started with a small cup of the lobster bisque and shared the crab cakes. Both were outstanding, and the crab cake was especially memorable since it wasn't your typical style--really well done. For entrées, my boyfriend had the lamb chops and I ordered the seared sea scallops. The lamb chops were easily a 10/10! The scallops were cooked perfectly, though I personally felt the pumpkin risotto could have used more seasoning. I really wanted to try dessert but I was completely stuffed. Our waitress still insisted on bringing a complimentary scoop of ice cream, which was rich, delicious, and such a thoughtful touch. Overall, a wonderful meal and experience. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

The place wasn't very busy at all so not sure why the lot was so full. Service was super nice. We had the best server. Very attentive and friendly while handling all of the tables outside on the deck. It was happy hour until 6 so we took advantage with a Cape IPA on cask ($5) and a well drink ($4) which were both solid. Wings were 1/2 price so we tried their Creole dry rub. Small wings but decent. I only noticed 3 flavors on the menu but I may have overlooked more since I heard the table behind us order a flavor I didn't notice. My wife had the burger salad and I had the mushroom burger. 8oz. patty and I wasn't impressed with its flavor. Plenty of Kennett mushrooms but they had no flavor. Beer braised onions were very few cand also nothing special. If it had the garlic aioli on there I didn't notice it or taste it either and the burger itself was as if it was a frozen patty. Very firm and almost chewy. Bun was warmed up nicely. The fries had zero seasoning and boring and they got cold fast. Bummer to say the least but the overall bill was reasonable. Didn't finish half the burger. They hire the right people, that's for sure. I'll have to rethink my order the next time and take another look for those other wing flavors.

Should be called "The Disappointing and Overpriced American Pub."…read more In retrospect, I should've taken the giant TV playing Kitchen Nightmares as an omen for what was about to come. I'm only giving this 2 stars because the French onion soup was decent and because the place was not crawling with roaches... I don't know where they get off calling this a pub.... the drinks, just as expensive as anywhere else, were gone in about 4 sips.. so fast I couldn't even take a picture of the full glass in time. The French onion soup was good- they definitely didn't skimp on the cheese! The sweet potato fries were also tasty. Now to the center of my review.. I do not like writing bad reviews. I don't want to usher in bad business when dining is so subjective - however, I cannot excuse these raviolis. Under no circumstance should any person pay $20 for SEVEN raviolis. Yes, seven raviolis. Seven small, puny, under stuffed raviolis that tasted like they could've came from a can. They didn't taste bad.. just okay.. but for $20, I think 7 raviolis (which were drenched in oil) is just utterly ridiculous ... I would not have even finished them if they weren't so ridiculously overpriced. Thats an energy that needs to be reserved for niche novelty restaurants in affluent neighborhoods of New York City. Not a so-called 'pub' in suburban PA. My mom got the vegan quesadilla, and noted that they put very little kimchi on it. I am absolutely never coming here again and I would actively dissuade any friends from going here in the future. Our total for 2 appetizers, 2 meals, and 1 drink was $70 before the tip, which I wouldn't have minded so much if the food was either in large quantities or good enough to justify the price... unfortunately, it was neither, and we walked away feeling unsatisfied and taken advantage of (figure of speech.) Overall... you're better off walking into any random Irish pub/bar honestly. But the plant based menu, which is what drew us in, was definitely cool and I love seeing more vegan options. It's also nicely decorated, the woodworking on the tables was a nice touch.
