Me and my boyfriend have been coming to Burtons for a little while now! Came on my birthday too! We love it here. Today we had Fiona as our server, she is perfect! Very sweet and kind! She checked in on us the perfect amount, and was super smiley and just gave a happy good vibe!! She told us about the loyalty program and I signed up! I wish I knew for my birthday because I would've got the dessert! Such great food!!! It is so so so good and it is a scratch kitchen so everything is super fresh!! Thanks!

Went here with some friends, who had been here before and highly recommended it. While the food was very good, the service was horrendous. The server was all over the place. She was chatting when she should have been serving, and could not be found when needed. She didn't seem to know what was going on. It was also like a freezer inside, very cold even wearing a sweater. Every server was wearing long sleeves. We sat down and one person in the party gave his appetizer order. She went to put that one in alone, and that threw everything else off. The server did not come back to take the rest of our appetizer orders for 15-20 minutes. The one had his food come out while we were still waiting to order our salads. By the time we got the salad, our entrees were then thrown at us. It was the weirdest service I've ever seen. We ordered bread. Three times. It finally came out right before the food. That was really excellent. My partner and I split a house salad, and they divided it in the kitchen for us. It was very fresh and the dressing was delicious. I had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, which was good and not heavy. It's not a huge portion. Two people got the haddock topped with crab. It was a very good portion, and I heard excellent things. Unfortunately the fourth person's order was lost, and we had to wait for her to finally get her meal, which came when everyone had finished. We ordered the key lime pie for dessert. First one came out. Then another (we ordered only one). The manager graciously told us to keep the second one and wrapped it up for us to take home. It was excellent. A mini pie with a delicious graham cracker crust. As I said, the food is very good. If you can deal with the lousy service and crazy serving rhythm, maybe you'll enjoy it? For me, there are too many other places to try.

New American dining with a dash of Asian fusion. The bartenders Chris and Marco were the highlight of our visit. There was a Yelp event too so it was quite busy for a Wednesday. Sleek bar vibes with an extensive menu. Fried calamari was ok but Fried popper peppers were really good. The chimichurri steak was cooked to perfection (med well as requested) but the sauce lacked flavor. The truffle Parmesan cheese fries were pretty good. Used to be the old chilis location. Nice clean well decorated bathrooms. Drinks were perfect 10/10.

I had to try this place as people are raving about it! Very impressed. Food was really good. My boyfriend said that was the best Parmesan truffle fries he ever had. My tuna bowl was quality as well. Onsite parking. It got really crowded around dinner time. One thing tho, reception people have very little knowledge about food and drinks. Almost not friendly when asked.

It's certainly not the staff's fault and they've all been lovely, but it's been a significant wait every time we've come here. Moving to the food, it is phenomenal and why this place has a five star rating despite the above. The spinach artichoke dip and the tofu are both the best I've ever had at any restaurant ever. My husband got the steak sandwich and the bread was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly as well. I got the curried cauliflower salad and the dressing was a bit too strong for me and unfortunately the salad was dressed very heavily. But the cauliflower was still cooked well. Despite the service situation, the food is so good that I will definitely be back.

I don't know if they raised prices during COVID, shrank portions, or if it was always a little imbalanced. It's not even a financial thing, I'm just still hungry after eating an entree. Curiously, the desserts are huge. Like shared for the table huge. The Pickle Pizza is excellent, as is the Steak Mac & Cheese. The Pork Taco are also really good and could sub for an entree for a light eater. Anyway, this place is my go-to before a show at 118 North across the street. I've never been disappointed, I just end up spending more than planned.

Both of us ordered the giant Wagyu Truffle Burger ($27 - Half-Pound Wagyu Beef Patty, Fontina Cheese, Crisp Prosciutto, "Frizzled" Onion Rings, Arugula, Truffle Aioli, Brioche Bun). This is a pricey burger but it was really good. Was it the best burger ever? Nah but I did enjoy it very much, however, I really couldn't taste too much truffle. You're definitely paying up for the Wagyu...I have had regular burgers that have been just as good as this Wagyu one but again, I did enjoy it. And it was huge and was packed with delicious stuff. Still, I'd even go as far as saying it was a standout burger compared to some others I have had. The rest of the items on the menu sounded appealing too. Prices were definitely comparable to where I'm from (L.A.) but this is suburban Philly so I don't know if they're high or not. So many times when I eat out and a savory pie is on the menu I find myself staring at a deconstructed thing. All the ingredients piled on a plate in a lovely gravy with a Pie Puff on top. Good, but not great. In this The Silverspoon already has my vote as they made an honest to god PIE. Full crust top and bottom and when you factor in that the filling was spectacular, the duck juicy and tender and the crust not too flaky and not too crunchy? I was in heaven. Piled atop the Pie was a veritable mountain of watercress and Pomegranate seeds (next time I will set them to the side so I can choose the proper amount per mouthful) and it's here that the Pie really took off. The Pomegranate seeds were little jewels of sweet and tart juice that gave a little pop of color and cool to the delicious duck with every bite. I was so very thrilled with it.
