This was my first time eating at Dig Inn in Ardmore. Everything was fresh, healthy and delicious and I will be a repeat customer!

Now that Yelp is hooking up with Dig Inn for yet another cool giveaway at their newest Philly location, its a good time for me to sing the praise of my favorite Ardmore location! When I first saw that Hip City Veg was closing its Suburban Square location, it felt bittersweet, but that instantly turned into anticipation and cravings for those Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes when I saw that Dig Inn was taking its place! And from grabbing swag from them at Ardmore Rock n' Ride, to having an epic meal with fellow yelpers, to taking full advantage of them being on Too Good To Go, I've been digging into everything that they have to offer. Dig Inn might just be one of those places where I appreciate the sides more than I enjoy the main proteins. But so long as those sides feature offerings like sheet tray carrots, cheesy cauliflower, calabrian green beans, and more that change with the seasons, it's easy to understand why!But they extra go the extra mile with their chicken, tofu, wild salmon, and more. Toss in excellent service, tasty sauces, and those epic brioche cheddar pullaparts, and you have the right spot for a quick meal on a go! read more

My tween daughter and I serendipitously ended up here for dinner on Friday night. I'd heard of it but am rarely in the Ardmore area at mealtimes, so didn't give it much thought as an option. When we happened to park in front of it while looking for a quick meal, I suggested we try something new. We are both happy we did! The restaurant was bright and chill, with a kind of urban-hipster vibe. The gentleman who assisted us was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing -- so fresh and delicious! I got a Custom Dig Protein Bowl with Crispy Tofu, Herbed Rice, Cheesy Cauliflower, and Roasted Sweet Potatoes w/Hot Honey Sauce. My daughter got a kids' custom bowl with salmon, brown rice, and carrots, and couldn't stop raving about how good it was (especially the salmon). There are beverages available for purchase, as well as complimentary water, which we appreciated. The only reason I can't bring myself to give 5 stars is because our table was a little sticky and the silverware was not clean. It seemed clean enough otherwise, though; so I would probably give 4.5 stars if I could. I'd welcome the opportunity to dine here again, for sure! read more

Decent lunch here today at DIG Inn! The location here has pretty good seating, and staff are friendly regardless of the location in this franchise. Been loving going here since they opened their location in U-City, but just happened to be visiting the Ardmore area today around lunch. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They ran out of broccoli, but I was then able to wait a few minutes and get it piping hot out of a fresh batch. Portions were a bit smaller than I was expecting, but nevertheless, it was still a filling and delicious lunch! There's quite a bit of indoor seating here, but I opted to sit outside in one of the common Suburban Square seating areas. read more

New TooGoodToGo and they were training employees when I was supposed to pick up the bowls. Bowls already prepared. Great experience and I can't believe that I am the first review! Seating area available. Replaced Hip City Veg. I wonder if this was the one that had the social media frenzy on the worker payment issues or if it was an easier 'target' because it is in the suburbs. One day after I got the TooGoodToGo, they raised their platters $3 at both of their locations. Still a deal but feels like such a big increase from a consumer perspective. read more

Awesome service. I had to do a family-sized order for a family member recovering from transplant surgery and it was hot and ready upon arrival. I didn't even pay to park! I purchased the herb roasted chicken and sides and the staff were nice enough to add gravy on the side as well when I forgot to add it to the order. The food is delicious and I was happy to be able to deliver my family member food at a reasonable price. For roughly $60 to get meats and 3 sides is not bad for a family meal. read more

We have been to the new Dig Inn twice now. It's really excellent! We tried the crispy tofu sandwich which comes with pickles, special sauce and lettuce on a bun - so good! We also tried and loved the "build your own veg bowl" with crispy tofu and three sides. For sides, we have tried broccoli, sweet potatoes, cucumbers and tomatoes, and the seasonal crispy lime chili brussel sprouts. Everything we've had was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. All of their sauces are vegan and the menu is overall VERY vegan friendly and well labeled. We will definitely return. I was sad that Hip City Veg closed at this location in Suburban Square. However, this new restaurant has a ton of well labeled vegan options and so many perfectly cooked vegetables. Every single sauce on the menu is also vegan by default. We can definitely recommend this as a new favorite in Suburban Square! read more

Had take out a few times and the food is consisently delicious. They feature a simple menu, and every item is delicous.

I really wish i had the sense of mine too take more photos! This is a really nice addition to the Ardmore shipping area. The food is something delicious. This location replaced Hip City Veg by the looks of it. The parking lot outside (directly in front) is paid but if you drive just around the back of the building there's free parking (and a trader Joe's). I managed to get 2 sides and a protein. Similar to like a honey grow feel. Even maybe Cava. But the food was righteous! About $12. They have drinks and fresh desserts. Everything was seasoned well. Moist. Fresh and affordable. The only thing to top it off was the staff! I really wish i could have remembered the guy's name who did my order! He was so kind and friendly. He deserves 5 stars too. Give this location a try. It's easier to get to than the city ones. I'm looking forward to coming back! read more

I did not what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. The sweet potato brownie was better than other brownies I've had. I have already told my 19 yr old daughter about their Brussel sprouts and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food on a budget. read more

I dined in for my first time visit at the Ardmore PA location. The prices were extremely reasonable for the portion sizes, freshness, and most importantly taste!! The kitchen is an open concept so you can see how clean, organized, and professional the staff are as they prepare the food. The food! Yummy. Roasted herb chicken with a cider onion jam, with mashed potatoes & gravy and a side of chilli brussel sprouts! First, I want to purchase the cider onion jam! Delicious. The mashed potatoes taste grandma is in the kitchen cooking. The brussels good! Best part for me, the food was served in ceramic bowls with real utensils! The staff are so friendly and helpful! The food is cooked to perfection and the seasoning is on point. We've gotten a few customized protein bowls (charred chicken and the seared wild salmon - both delicious!). The sides are incredible too and loved everything we have tried (homestyle mashed potatoes with gravy, sheet tray carrots, charred broccoli with lemon, chili lime brussels, and the 1/2 rice, 1/2 greens). I just tried it for the 1st time, and the Employees where very friendly and very helpful!! The food was simple but good and tasty! The place is organized and clean. There was something a little too spicy for me that I got, so I told an employee and they with out hesitation said I will make you a new one with no spice sounds good! I absolutely love DIG! I eat here almost every night. The food is delicious -- truly number one. The restaurant is always spotless, and the staff is so friendly and professional.
