This place is so hip, located by Whole Foods and seems to cater to same customer lol no shade but it's very health conscious organic cuisine. Delicately plated and fresh. The coffee is strong and smooth and the fresh pressed juice is refreshing and delicious. The brunch menu is perfection in our books and we both got the smoked salmon Benedict with the house roasted potatoes. Everything arrived fast. We had a slight mix up with the side salad we added but the waitress noticed before we even mentioned, apologized, took it off the bill abs also brought us the greens anyways. Simple raw flavors shine and I was shocked to find out this place was actually a chain! Had heard a lot about this place a lot, finally tried it. Was able to get on the waiting list on line, saved me 10-15 minutes as the wait was about 20 min. The interior and decor looked good. Only one person in the front, was busy with the cash register as it's pay at the front and no host to check you in, waited 5 min before interrupting the cashier to check us in. The menu looked awesome but it turned out to be a little deceiving. The drink we ordered was cinnamon toast cereal milk, was wonderful. Million dollar bacon tasted good too. Got TRI ATHLETE omelette, Salmon Benedict and Barbacoa Benedict. Omelette was good but the Benedict's were horrible, eggs were hard, no runny yolk, very limited Benedict sauce, had high expectations but turned out to be a dud. Server did bring another set of soft dine eggs after 15 min but no sauce or salsa, had to turn it back. When the food arrives, my hash is chuck-full of onions. I asked the waiter about my request for no onions and he says "all the hashes have onions", not in a snarky tone or anything, but putting it plainly. Bewildered by the lack of forethought to inform me, or the thought to put in a special request (is a few fried potato chunks really a "special" request these days?) after I specifically asked for no onions, I asked him to simply take the food back, and remove it from the bill. For a 40 dollar breakfast you kind of expect warm food. As far as covid protocols, it looked decent on the surface but I watched the busser handle dirty dishes, not sanitize the tables & then bring out clean glasses and mugs without washing hands. We came in here for Brunch the night after the Ohio German American festival, setup wait-list online for reservations (this was good as it was packed that morning, still waited 15 min even when we put our names in 45 min ahead). Long story short, we dined as 2 couples, and the food order had some challenges Primary issue resulted from the fact that the couple with us was vegetarian, and their orders were messed up (meat was included), and arrived very delayed (15-20 min after 1st couple's and food was cooling as we waited). We later found out the wrong orders were brought to someone else's table (?), so the vegetarian orders that came with meat, were then returned. Since it was busy (or rather a side effect of the business) we had very few refills for coffee (and as I'm sure anyone will note, breakfast, you kinda want your coffee ready). The manager came by, apologized and comped the entire table, which was nice as the whole event was just a bad experience with one couple being very frustrated and hungry, and the other waiting for the food and having ours get cold (just being nice I guess).
