Probably one of my favorite breakfast places in town. The fresh food with unique flavor combinations is a great way to start the day. Their coffee is bold and tasteful! read more

Yes, this restaurant has a four star and you are probably wondering why I give it a one. The ONLY reason this place is so highly rated because it's the only of its kind in Toledo. They know that and clearly don't care about the quality of food or service. I have had a negative experience here many times but I continued to go back. This is it. Horrible service and horrible food. Our waitress was so rude and not attentive at all. I finished my food before my boyfriend even started because he asked for condiments multiple times that were never delivered. He ended up having to get up and ask the hostess to bring it. Prices are outrageous for the quality of food as well. Do not recommend. read more

Delicious brunch. Great service. I like their juices as well, and that they have options for vegans/vegetarians.

The Watch is our go to and has been for three years now. Highly recommend. Quite reliable when traveling. This location is not reaching the bar set by their fellow franchisees. I offer a three star because of the service only. Unfortunately the food has been subpar more than once. BRAVO front of the house. read more

Very good breakfast place!! Been here about 5 Times now and have tried a variety of options. None of them have disappointed! Very busy on the weekends but worth the wait! Both sweet and savory options are good depending on the mood you're in. Use yelp to put your name in ahead before coming. read more

I love this restaurant. I love almost everything about it. The food is fantastic the atmosphere is awesome but... I walked in on Sunday afternoon -there were seven empty tables and people waiting out the door. We had over an hour wait. There comment the kitchen is trying to catch up- not good. read more

Always have enjoyed coming here especially when Riley is working! She's such an amazing waitress, is so kind to people, and quick to ask if we ever need anything and the food is always amazing best breakfast restaurant along with great quality service. Thank you Riley! read more

Disappointing. Went with one other person and both of our orders were messed up - they asked for sauce in the side, the dish came drowning in sauce. I have a gluten allergy and and asked for the gluten free toast. Meal came with toast, almost took a bite before I realized it looked like regular toast - asked the server, she said "oh yeah, that's not gluten free." Glad I didn't eat it! read more

Busy but enough staff to cover everyone. Leaving a coffee carafe on the table really takes the stress out of chugging coffee but not wanting to run out. The special we had off the seasonal menu was inventive and not just a remix of their existing ingredients. The menu is also very interesting and has some great options! read more

Service is abysmal. Been here once before and it was horrible then too. It's like they sit you and then take a 30 min break. Had to go up to the hostess stand to ask for water. Food took over 35 mins to come out. Better off going somewhere else. Food good, service is ridiculous. Keep on driving to Chick Fil A Update: Went back today because we wanted to give another shot. 8 open tables, and a 15 minute wait, so we got back in our car and went to Chick Fil A down the road. Highly recommend you do the same too. One good thing about this place is if you order it to go you don't have to deal with service. The food is good, people that work there aside from the cooks are not. read more

My favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Toledo, but please add Corn Beef Hash to your menu!

If I had to sum up our visit to First Watch in one word that word would be; "WHAT!?". Or to be more clear, loud. While the food was good, and our waitress was nice the modern industrial meets french farm house decor offers not a single touch of acoustic deadening material. This aim for aesthetic over ambiance creates an echo chamber of dramatic proportion. To attest to this fact, when I asked the young lady who delivered our meals for something water, she returned with a pat of butter on one of their nice rustic looking side plates. The idea of having a more healthy minded breakfast and brunch spot is appealing but, the reacclimation period my ears needed after our visit was not something I look for in the morning. The special was WHAT!?... an asparagus, crab omelette with hollendais which my wife enjoyed, but suggested was a little bland. I ordered a skillet dish of sorts including biscuits with a chicken sausage gravy, home fries and two eggs which was also good. The quality and execution of the food was not bad, I'd have wished for a little more crispy potatoes but can't really complain. While over all the food ws fine, there are a myriad of dining choices in the area that offer a more pleasing experience. So, we most likely won't return. read more

First Watch - Chicken-sausage gravy skillet with biscuits, eggs, and potatoes - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Toledo, Ohio

We had a really bad experience. Food was cold, potatoes were raw, service was slow. Bill was a whopping $56 not including the tip! Literally everything sucked and was overpriced for what you got. If you want good breakfast in Toledo go to sunrise skillet. That place always has great prices, great coffee and great service. You can get literally the same food there but 10x quicker, hotter, and tastier. I regret trying this place and my bank account is screaming at me. read more

The food was very good BUT I will NOT go back!! It was way too noisy. Couldn't have an ordinary conversation. My ears are still ringing. Take ear plugs. read more

Wow! I love this place. I have been here many times and it's always wonderful. It's busy but that's due to having such great choices of food and how good it is. U won't be disappointed. read more

This is one of the freshest and nicest options to brunch in Toledo! The food is really good! It takes a little longer than other restaurants but you are getting something made from scratch for sure! I love their toasted bread. The menu is not that big but I wouldn't see that as a negative since they do have a seasonal selection of dishes. The wait time is long but there is a communal table. I would recommend joining the waiting list here in yelp to save some time. read more

Food was delicious, but service was slow and I found the atmosphere to be too loud! I think next time I will request a table away from the kitchen. It was hard to enjoy my food with the sound of dishes clanking behind me! I will probably give it another try! read more

I've never had a bad meal at first watch! I always leave full and energized and not gross and greasy like a normal breakfast joint. I've been 4 times and I've had good service every time except once! I'm always impressed with my meals at first watch! read more

I've eaten at First Watch in other cities and am glad they opened up a location here. Food and service are always great. Their chicken salad is amazing. If you go here on weekends be prepared for a wait but well worth it read more

Great breakfast place, only open until 230. Excellence food and fresh ingredients. Chickachanga is legit. read more

Love this place!! Food is excellent and has all healthy choices. The price is good and the portions are just right to get you fueled for the day. The Salmon Benedict is my favorite so far. read more

Great breakfast. Fresh flavors. Definitely a different atmosphere than most breakfast restaurants in the area.

I love first watch. The food is always amazing. Friendly staff. I just wish they stayed open later. I want to try everything on the menu but I always gravitate back to the chorizo omelette whatever it's called and the millionaire bacon. You won't be disappointed. read more

While the food is good, the wait time in this place is horrendous. They tell you 30 min for seating, but you wait over an hour. Then the kitchen is extremely slow. So it takes you over 2 hrs in this place just to have breakfast. They need to come up with a better way! read more

Really enjoy spending time with friends at this lovely place. Food is always yummy! The staff are friendly, and the ambience is clean and comfortable. read more

The decor upon entering is super inviting and clean. Definitely a more modern place for Toledo. The service was not bad but not overly good for it being our first time here (and we told her that). I ordered the Bacado and it was yummy (could have been cooked a little more as I got egg whites and they were a little wiggly). The pico was forgotten but as soon as I mentioned it she brought it and it was fantastic! Ordered one single slice of French toast ($4.79 holy sh*t never again) and it was good but not worth the price. Overall very good but will NOT be a frequented place because $20 plus tip is asinine for one person to eat breakfast! read more

We love this place...pumpkin pancakes are excellent! We have been here several times and tried everything...all good! All we need now is one on our side of town!! read more

I went there for breakfast last Saturday with a friend. Although it was crowded, we were seated quickly. Thee food was good. They offer some unusual "healthy" items not found elsewhere. The service was very good. The prices are a little high. The place has one of those open ceiling, Industrial kind of look. The problem was the noise. It was difficult to have a conversation at all. I find it odd that a place geared to healthy choices would not have taken hearing into consideration. It was loud, way too loud. Ouch! read more

This place is great for breakfast! They have interesting twists on your standard omelettes and skillets. Everything is fresh; the preserves were a standout. Very friendly staff! The Millionaires Bacon is incredible as well. We can't wait to go back! read more

I. Love. This. Place! I drove past this place many times. It took me weeks to finally get a chance to eat here. It's very cute inside. The color schemes and accents come off very clean and modern looking. It gets busy at certain times and it was very busy when I stopped in. The hostess and bus people were very efficient at keeping things moving! We were told it would be a 20 minute wait but I think it was only really ten. The cardboard picture of the daily specials is a great way to get people to stay lol. The service was fast and attentive without being irritating. The food was magnificent and you have a great array of options. Everything tasted so fresh. A must try place. read more

Ok. Part 2: They made amends: refunded purchase price of the food and sent me gift cards to encourage a 2d try and 2d x was a charm. I had to recontact them to get this result: eventually they did the right thing. Too bad it happened. Too bad it didnt get fixed immediately. Eventually result was ok read more

Love the refreshingly different meat-free food choices like Avocado Toast and the AM Superfoods Bowl.

Had the special, two eggs, bacon, toast and potatoes. Bacon good. Potatoes excellent. Toast was cold, barely toasted, butter wasn't melted, and the bread was thick and doughy. The eggs were ordered "over easy". They were served not quite lukewarm and about 1/3 of the whites were raw and uncooked. The waitress asked me how I liked the food. I said the eggs were undercooked and showed her the uncooked whites. She said they were supposed to be that way, but offered to replace them. I declined. They did comp the beverages voluntarily. At ten minutes past their opening time there were no cars in the parking lot and they appeared to be closed because of very poor inside lighting. I decided to try the doors just in case. Both of the employees I encountered were polite and efficient. However there were absolutely no smiles and they appeared quite grim. read more

The food is amazing, but the wait can be very long, and the food can take a long time to come out. But overall a very good place to spend your money on breakfast. read more

We felt very "safe" there for lunch with staff wearing masks, single use menus, and tables set at a distance. The pick 2 for lunch was a good economic choice. My sister loved the basil tomato soup and Cobb salad. I had the roast beef with havarti sandwich with clam chowder soup. While the sandwich was tasty , the clam chowder was disappointing. The clams were tough and the soup watery, not very creamy. read more

When we lived in Worthington, we went to First Watch many, many times and I was pleased when a location opened in Toledo. Service was great, the coffee is great, the food is very good. Just one irritating thing: don't order a classic bacon and eggs breakfast. I like my eggs medium to medium well and First Watch always cooks them hard. I had the same issue in Worthington - the servers even argued that my obviously well done eggs were "medium". Curious that the fancy things are really good but they can't make a good egg breakfast. read more

Eggcellent!! We all shared because the menu has some great items! Turkey sausage with fresh homemade biscuits and gravy! Chorizo omelet, eggs Benedict, custard dipped French toast and fresh OJ! Will definitely make the trip to return even though it isn't super close to our home. Call ahead or down load the app so you don't have to wait! read more

If you have celiac this is a great restaurant to eat - so many options. And our server Riley absolutely ensured I understood the menu options available to me and wrote it on the ticket to the cook staff I had an allergy so they knew to change gloves and be aware. Thank you Riley! Great job! read more

This is a great new restaurant with many healthy selections. It is very helpful that calorie count in noted on the menu and the staff have been very supportive in helping to suggest ways to get a vegetarian plate off the meat dish selections. My family has been five times so far and plan to try everything on the menu. Yes, the atmosphere is a bit loud, but it feels fun & eclectic. For those who desire a more intimate setting, another venue may be best. For those wanting great food, an exciting atmosphere with over-the-too friendly servers...get to First Watch. Love the avocado toast and kale salad!!! read more
