Sip Coffee is hands-down my favorite coffee shop in the area. They've got something for everyone--coffee, tea, smoothies--and plenty of flavor options, including sugar-free. There's always a drink of the week, which makes each visit a little different and always tasty. I come here weekly and have never had a bad experience. Even when it's busy, the staff keeps things moving quickly and the vibe stays fun and welcoming. There's plenty of seating, with both indoor and outdoor options, plus an upstairs area that's perfect if you want a quieter spot or if the main area is full. Great drinks, great atmosphere--Sip never disappoints!

"I visit Sip frequently, usually at least once a week, sometimes more. The service is always fast and efficient, with a friendly and welcoming staff. The coffee is consistently delicious, and the wait time is impressively quick--typically between 3 to 6 minutes. The atmosphere downstairs is lively, while upstairs offers a quieter, more relaxed environment Amazing coffee and treats. No bitter aftertaste.

What a busy coffee shop. I was there twice when I was in town and it was busy both times! I completely understand that a lot of people like to vibe there and it's a great place to work if you like a to have something in the background. A cute shop overall. The drinks are just ok... it's very watered down and nothing was outstanding about it. The staffs were nice and polite. And I was told that hot people go there

I think it's obvious of how much a person loves the Sip when they know the best times to visit. Saturday early mornings is one of the best times -- you may catch some live music or a mini-orchestra session while sipping on a delicious cup of whatever coffee you love. The service is impeccable! The drinks and food options are great!

What a cute coffee shop close to everything! They have great coffee selections, on-the-go food options and sit down menu items! Right when I walked in I was greeted with the biggest smile! The staff was so nice and extremely accommodating to me and my little. I was asked if I wanted to start a a "Passport" with them that is a stamp book to get you either a free shirt or sweatshirt! Such a cute loyalty program they have that I'm sure I'll be using in the future. I ordered the coffee special, avocado toast, and some yogurt. They had such a great selection for food options as well as other coffee options. One of the baristas brought a high chair to our table and we sat and enjoyed our breakfast. When we got up to leave I noticed they had a whole other level! This place is so awesome and hoping to make it a regular place of mine.

Sip short for 'Socially infused people' offers great coffee & top shelf creamer. Good quality creamer is the perfect way to top off coffee. There's a clean, clutter free area to study & be studious upstairs. You can focus on your work as the high ceilings & windows take the edge off & help the creativity flow. A library room is available to rent upstairs as well. Downstairs there's more of a cozy talkative space. Outdoor seating also available.  The music is subtle & blends in like cream in coffee. Subtle music key for a coffee house. The staff is kind. I talked to an employee, and she said that really enjoys working at Sip Parking available in the store's lot. There's also street parking.

First time trying this place and it was packed. But the service was fast and we barely waited to order or receive our order. I had a peppermint mocha which was delicious. I love that they use chocolate milk to make their mochas. Yum! The pastries looked very good but we did not get one.

I had higher expectations, given the crowds and reputation. I don't hate it but meh. Lemme explain. I've been here about 4x over the last year. Their lavender latte is just ok - has a harsher taste than other places. They do have pour overs but mostly focus on dark roast which is ew to me. They have a variety of snacks. I did like the $5.50 raspberry tart. At flying Joe those pop tarts are $6 so that's a good deal (kinda lol). The area is small but I'm pretty sure there's an upstairs. It's just often busy so hard to find space. It's not an environment I like but it does look cute

More good coffee in a cute and minimalist shop! It's two floors which is neat as the second floor is a quiet zone.

I lived in Seattle for 20+ years and this place reminds me of the coffee culture in the late 1990s…read moreto early 2000s. Great place to hang out w friends, by yourself and people watch, business meeting, do you school work, or simply have a cup of Joe. I discovered it on my first trip to Toledo and I have gone back everytime I come back. It my coffee place in Ohio.

Things to do along I-75 N/S to and from the Detroit area (1 of 2)…read more I had to spend a few days in the Detroit area and I-75, featured in black and white on Eminem's excellent Super Bowl commercial, is the route on which I'd be driving. I have become increasingly tired of Starbucks, but less so of other chain coffeehouses. That said, I always seek out the independent coffeehouses. Mostly, I was sold on the name (Rustbelt) of this coffeehouse in Downtown Toledo, just a few blocks from the small cluster of downtown mid-rises. Inside, it has the open floor plan with exposed ceilings up above, which works very well here and fits the industrial Rust Belt mood. The seating options were to my liking: big butcher block type tables meant to be shared, smaller tables, and upholstered seating with coffee tables. I wish I could have stayed at Rustbelt longer. It was a warm and humid summer day and I had an iced tea and a pastry. The items were tasty. The pricing was fair and the service was unremarkable, but did lean toward being good natured. Parking is available right in front along the street, should you want to keep an eye on your car. That said, I couldn't get a read on the location ... it seemed that there were other eateries and bars nearby, so maybe that meant it was okay. Also, I couldn't figure out where the customer base came from. Usually, bohemian coffeehouses have bohemian enclaves nearby where the bohemian people live. I didn't see any, or maybe I didn't look long enough. I couldn't imagine them being suburbanites. Lastly, I believe I've always seen Rust Belt spelled as two words. If they want to stylize this and go with one word, that's their prerogative. So, what you have here at Rustbelt Coffee are good tea/coffee with pastries to choose from, fair prices, decent service, and a spacious open interior plan where the climate control system was working very well. That sounds like 4 stars to me.
