Grindhrs has become a favorite of mine. I have been there with my family and on my own. I've gotten lattes, an iced latte flight & my husband and son have gotten hot chocolate. I enjoy the ambiance. There isn't a ton of seating, but the environment is great and service is always friendly. I will continue to stop in here when downtown Toledo. read more

I was looking for a coffee shop that opens early, and Grindhrs came up in my search results. I got honey lavender latte with oat milk. I was also looking for vegan breakfast options, and was surprised when the barista told me that everything in the display case was vegan! These options included breakfast wraps, and cupcakes (both from The Leaf and Seed cafe). They also carry overnight oats. I got the southwest wrap and rose pistachio cupcake. Both were flavorful. The latte was great too. It's a nice coffee shop, with good seating, parking can be found outside on the road. They support LGBTQ community and allies. I am so so soooo glad that this place exists in my hometown! It's downtown and it's so easy to find with all the rainbows in the windows. This LGBTQIA+ friendly space is full of good coffee and great vibes! It's on Adam's street which is the hopping area for chill vibes in Toledo. So to see this place when I come to visit is awesome! The space is so cute and eclectic, plenty of seating and areas to talk or study. I ordered a Gingerbread Latte for the road and it was piping hot! The staff is fantastic! Wonderful coffee and tea here. Our son had the specialty hot chocolate and drank it before I got a picture because it was delicious with a sweet foam topping. Ok I'm back and have some amazing news! I was contacted by a concerned bystander in the coffee shop that day. He wanted to assure me that the experience I had was a complete out of the ordinary experience. Shortly after I was contacted by one of the owners. She was the sweetest and most caring human, and we chatted through the whole issue. She made such a point to rectify the situation, to make me feel heard and to provide such a beautiful experience coming back to Grindhrs. And come back I did, multiple times. I can't say enough positive things about how caring they were and how quickly they provided care and were so adamant about being the beautiful space they truly are. I have to add that the coffees I did have on my returns were sublime. The barista with a huge wonderful smile, was also very kind and caring. Nice trendy downtown coffee house. Generous rewards program and great staff. They also don't rip yhou off with the credit card surcharge like Brew House does and reasonable prices. No Nitro, but good cold brew and they have ice cream and do coffee floats and can do flights. Staff is great and gay owned. Plenty of Vegan food as well if you are vegan. Only complaints is no bike parking (I notice they allow people to bring in bikes so not a big deal( and not acceissible entrance (there is an accessible door on the Erie side but you can only exit or have to be with someone to enter on Adams and walk through to hold the door open). But the erie doo isn't a direct entrance into the shop so understand why they have to keep that locked. read more

I'm super excited to see they have a wonderful line of vegan items available for a quick bite too. The place has an incredible atmosphere. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. super cute and cozy cafe. they have a wide selection of flavors and unique specialties that make them a hit in my opinion. this was my first visit because of it being an lgbtq+ and allies safe space :) i received great customer service and loved the energy of the employees! definitely going to come back and try other flavors. the honey lavender latte has a very floral taste with a little bit of tang from the honey, but a lovely after taste as well. i look forward to trying a float and also the cinnamon roll latte too! read more

Favorite coffee shop in Toledo. Very close to my condo and office and go here a few times a week. Unlike other downtown coffee shops they are open until 6 p.m. during the week and have convenient weekend hours. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Also the only place I'm aware of downtown that has ice cream. I'm not Vegan, but they carry a lot of Leaf and Seed's vegan products. Only complaint I have is there is no bike parking, but the staff is cool with you bringing your bike inside so not a big deal. Great LGBTQ friendly business to downtown. read more
