I got a few funny looks from the locals when I showed up with flowers for my date, but the staff was very friendly and did a great job arranging the flowers in a vase for my date! This visit was slightly better as we were greeted right away with a smile, but I noticed the bar ware hadn't changed much. My vodka martini was served in a small glass with no stem, and our bartender again used his fingers, rather than a spoon or cocktail skewer, to extract the olives. The wooden facade behind the bar could be classy and beautiful but appears to be just an afterthought with only a few types of liquor lined up on it. This place seems to be more focused on beer. I did like the open windows which had tables directly under them although my favorite piece of decor is the original Victory Cleaners sign that hangs on the wall opposite the bar. If you're a beer drinker, this is more of a place for you, as the emphasis is more on beer than specialty cocktails.

The quantity would be a little for some, but it was enough for me since it had alcohol and that kept the prices more reasonable. To top it off, when I mentioned to the head bartender (who was acting as the manager) that I wouldn't be coming back, he pulled $40 cash out of his own wallet and offered it to me to "give them another chance." The bread was stale and hard, they forgot the butter for the sweet potato, and the Brussels sprouts had so much salt dumped on them they were basically inedible. To make things even more unprofessional, while customers were waiting outside, two bus boys were standing there talking to each other while one showed the other pictures on his phone saying, "Look at this girl, I'm sleeping with her and her friend." So she was the last line of defense. When she saw it was wrong she should have taken it back instead she chose to serve it to me. She offered to make another but time constraints prevented me. I spent The Whole time eating and not once did she come from the back to check in or say goodbye. I often had to ask the hostess for help. I'm new to this area and work locally. I was hopping for way better services from an establishment of this caliber. While the salad was good. The service alone will make me think twice to frequent or give recommendations.
