I don't know, I just always seem to have such weird experiences with any First Watch location (except place at almost every location I've been to. This would be the fourth now and it was very similar. Most of the wrenches that get thrown at me are I seem to somehow get forgotten about (skipped) on the waiting list, all while sitting 10 ft in front of the maitre d for about a 45-60 min wait. I do love their food and find it consitant no matter which First Watch you go to and love their pressed juices. But this location, Brandon AND Tampa, I sat on a 60 min wait list (normal for weekends) to find I was accidentally skipped. So weird, but at least I got fed & it was good. read more

Solid food. Slow service. The service has been degrading more and more over the years. Average wait for food 20-30 minutes. I'd hate to discontinue my patronage but they are making it hard. This is not just a problem at this location. It's company wide. Do better First Watch. read more

First thing we walked into with our visit was a very warm welcoming smile and a friendly hello. Once we sat down we gazed upon the menu at all the delicious food waiting for us. First thing we ordered was hot chocolate to warm up from the chill. We finally decided on the AM superfood bowl and the new seasonal cinnamon pancakes, and the shareable cinnamon rolls. The highlight of the visit was the warm gooey cinnamon roll that melt in your mouth. Over all the vibe was well set and definitely coming back when we're the part of town. read more

This first watch never disappoints. The waitresses are nice and friendly. This is establishment is larger than the one in Brandon. I recommend to get their early. It's always crowded on the weekend. My two favorite dishes are the Parmahash and the Power bowl that comes with Italian sausage. I always omit the mushrooms because I'm not a big fan the food is always hot & delicious. The Kale yea drink is refreshing as well. Sign up online for nice rewards that they'll send you via email. Every little discount you can get counts. U can never go wrong with this establishment because you can get healthy food when you want to and be able to indulge at the same time! No complaints here! Great service made up for our terrible food. We ordered the avocado toast with over medium eggs. Not only did the avocado look bad it tasted terrible. You can definitely see that it was left over from the day before. After asking to change our plate we ordered hash browns and it tasted like old old. Very disappointed as we got there bright and early (8am) and was very excited as it was our first time. Nothing should have tasted that old and spoiled that early in the day. I stopped in for a delightful breakfast today! I've driven by this particular location several times and never stop because there are so many breakfast places nearby! It was around 10:30 am and the place was busy! I chose a seat outside (they have umbrellas, thank goodness). I ordered the bacado egg white omelette. It was delicious and so refreshing! I'm allergic to the artisan toast and they were very accommodating to let me modify my sides. The greens were a refreshing treat as well in the Florida heat. My potatoes had great flavor and I like the crunchy parts so I devoured those pieces first! It was a filling meal! My server, Sara, was very pleasant and quick to get my order and food out to me. My friends took me to brunch there on my birthday. I was hooked! I was going to have a mimosa to celebrate, but my mouth started watering at the mention of a cold mint chocolate coffee. The special was French toast with crème brûlée, blackberries and ginger cookie crumbles. It was all so good! I could go there every week. Their service is always steadily going down hill. My server was lovely. However their food runner dumped strawberries and blueberries in my lap then walked away despite having seen it. I had to ask another person for more fruit. Then flag another server to bring me silverware. When leaving I told their hostess who was also utterly useless and simply apologized as I was leaving covered in blueberry juice. Considering we spent over $50 for two people to eat breakfast I'd expect better. read more

First watch is definitely a good spot for breakfast! The food is very unique and taste very good! The only negative I had was the service! The wait was super long but once we sat down it took almost 30 mins before the waitress came to take our order. After that took almost about 30-45 min to get our food. The waitress seemed pretty nice but was hard to tell as she only came to our table to take our order bring us our food and then again for the check. She never checked in to see if I needed a refill on my drink or how everything was going. The service definitely needs to get better! But beside that the food was very tasteful and the inside was very comfortable! I dunno if I would say it's the best spot in town but definitely maybe a top 10. read more

I have to say that, at first, I didn't care for this place in Brandon. However, I have turned a corner and really love the place. I can't go without getting the millionaires bacon! Love coming here for a late breakfast on weekends. Pancakes are the best! Great menu variety and fresh juices. I like the option to "get in line" ahead of time because wait times can be quite long. So, I absolutely love first watch, but I do not like this location and almost always choose the longer drive to the causeway location. Service here is consistently slow. We have had to wait WELL over 5 minutes just to be greeted at our table many times. The kitchen is also pretty inconsistent. I order the market hash almost every time I eat at first watch and one time in particular it came without the mushrooms or zucchini and they added sun dried tomatoes, yuck! when I asked the server about it she didn't even know what was supposed to be in it. Last few time to first watch food was marginal to average it was very loud lots of babies in the restaurant screams and crying. Like kids and babies but that place the way it is inside makes small chatter very loud and babies intolerable. Need to consider changing the interior . Staff is very good read more

I love this location, it's never too crowded so the service is pretty efficient. My only complaint with all first watches not just this one is that they don't have enough vegan options. They have toast and the fresh market skillet ( and even that they put mostly potatoes and very minimal veggies unless you absolutely ask them to add more vegetables than potatoes). And almost 80% of the times I've gone they mess up our order - as if it's so hard to not add cheese to something - or to simply read the order you're making, who knows. read more
