Great food and service. Had a seasonal crab omelet with greens which had amazing flavor. The ice tea was refreshing

One of the best breakfasts I've had. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Reasonably price. Definitely stop by again when I'm in town. read more

My wife really takes other YELP reviews seriously.. so when she saw 5 stars galore, she knew we had to check this place out. She's a huge lover of poached eggs, and Benedict So I thought I would try a salmon Benedict, too. And it did not disappoint. She had the Benedict Florentine, would she really enjoyed. Flavored creams are always a nice touch. read more

I love that they have options. Having lightly dressed greens with my omelet was awesome. The summer crab and veggie omelet was superb. Fresh squeezed orange juice was a plus as well. Will definitely be making this our regular breakfast place. read more

great food and ambience. love this place for breakfast. always take my guests here from out of town.

Have had both breakfast and lunch. The regular breakfast potatoes are outstanding , Waffles excellent, I've never had anything that wasn't good. The staff is very friendly. read more

A.M. Superfoods Bowl is delicious. Service Great! Ambiance & hipster vibe. I enjoyed the relaxed environment and something for everyone. My daughter is a vegetarian so the A.M. Meal was perfect, but for myself, the Millionaire's bacon was worth the price tag. Definitely recommend checking it out! read more

This place has delicious food, but the price and portion size has changed drastically over the years. They are about $20 more than most breakfast places around town and give you about a 1/3 of the portion. read more

First of all, the service here was amazing. A group of us from a conference (12 people) showed up at lunch, when it was already busy, and we were in and out in less than 1 hour. Everyone's food was great, except for mine lol. I got a chorizo egg white omelette that arrived 15 minutes later than everyone else's, has no chorizo in it, but did have an entire onion in it. And the egg whites had a weird texture, they were foamy. But again, cannot stress enough the amazing job the greeter and server did. I wish I remembered their names. read more

Always stopping here when on my way to Sedona. I love the fresh food and their menu. Friendly service and atmosphere. It's a great place to eat something small or big if you are conscious about eating and health. read more

This place was ok. Not worth the cross town trip I made to get there. Food was fresh. Coffee was horrible.

This was our spot until one day our patronage was t much appreciated. Two detectives were sat after us and immediately got service (coffee, ordered and received their food). We still waited till I had to get up and walk through 2 rooms to ask a cashier to get us a server. Once Layza came by she was so annoying. Asking us a million times if she can get us anything else. How many times do I have to say no. She kept asking us if we needed drinks. Again no. Just a box to go and the check. Now the detectives are gone and we're waiting for a check. No box. Can I have a box? When she comes back she asks if she can take our plates. No - I'm packing up my food. Why are you still standing here. Didn't offer potatoes like usual and 1 of my eggs Benedict wasn't even runny and NEVER GOING BACK. Let the cops leave you my tip. Literally was so flustered I forgot to ask for bacon not ham. read more

LONG TIME customer...15 years. Went back for 3rd time since 'reopening' of Black Canyon First Watch. I love 'Bagel and Lox'...they had a new one with cucumber, tomatoe, salad...Nice try. 13.99 is a bit steep for a bagel...(no capers btw) need that! On the way out...I mentioned 'Einsteins are 6.95 traditional...a bit steep for a bagel w/ lox'. Waitress was great, friendly etc. Manager standing nearby said: "Well, we cant do anything about it, that's Corporate." curtly...kinda impatient, dismissive, NOT listening to customer. NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Better response may be "I Hear that, we'll pass it on to Corporate, thanks for the feedback." Hmmm...felt 'not heard' 'not considered'...makes me question going back honestly...sours the whole experience. read more

It seems ghetto from the outside but once you go inside, you'll instantly change your mind. The inside looks nice and well maintained. Every morning is somewhat packed as the location is surrounded by hotels and corp buildings. I ordered one chocolate chip pancake (one is enough because the serving is fairly large), and the oatmeal. Both were good. However my S.O. ordered the avocado toast and the strawberry smash. I gotta admit, I liked that order better. The avocado has a citrus~y flavor which is interesting in a good way. The strawberry smash is highly recommended. I wanted to change my fresh squeezed OJ to that drink. Staff is accommodating too. I'd give this place an 8/10. read more

Solid breakfast joint. I go here about once a month before an appointment in the area. I've tried a lot of their menu and have never been disappointed. I am a huge fan of their lemon ricotta pancakes and Florentine Benedict. Service is always quick, friendly, and efficient. I usually go alone and I never feel awkward about it here (even though when I worked night shift I probably looked like something from The Walking Dead!) When I try to be healthy I order the Tri-Athlete {egg whites | Crimini mushrooms | onion | tomatoes | green chilies} or the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl {quinoa | Italian sausage | Crimini mushrooms | tomatoes | kale | Parmesan | EVOO} and I am always pleased with how tasty everything is! I even recreate some of their dishes at home before those looooong 13 hour shifts on my feet! read more

Everything here is fresh and delicious!! I haven't had anything I wouldn't try again!! The service is great and the food is fabulous!!

I guess I expected more from the food and service after looking at how many stars this restaurant has.. The food was okay, We ordered two different kinds of eggs Benedict and It was OK.service was mediocre. If you're into fun breakfast places, modern places this is not the place for you. No mimosa, they don't have any alcoholic drinks. read more

we have eaten here several times and it is usually not bad. But the other day we decided to order some breakfast for takeout. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and was so excited to try them. They came with strawberries on top and they looked delicious. But when i opened the container, it smelled like a raw onion. I thought it was strange, but decided to try the pancakes and ignore it. But when took the first bite, all I could taste was a really strong raw onion flavor. Whoever chopped the strawberries obviously chopped them on the same cutting board that was used to chop onions. Since the food was in a to go container, the onion flavor permeated the whole dish because of the steam. Even after removing the strawberries, the pancakes tasted horribly of onions. It was literally so bad that we had to throw the whole dish away :( read more

This particular location just let someone breast feed right at the table!! No one needs to see a breast out and in the open when there's a washroom 10 feet from her!! Once her child was done the woman kept her breast out!! It ruined my experience and the restaurant should NOT allow people to breast feed out at the table! Might as well let men urinate out at the table too!! read more

Great place to eat! Great service. It gets a little busy on sunday morning but it's worth the wait!

Had a great lunch at this location. I ordered a ham an gruyere melt with tomato basil soup and it was delicious! The food arrived quickly and the server was very nice and attentive. I would definitely go back. read more

Customer service was great. Everyone was really nice. What I got was delicious. There were only a couple things that made this get a 3 star: 1. I found a hair in my food which they remade and took off my total bill, and 2. I ended up getting diarrhea from the food (sorry if that's too much information). If this hadn't happened i would probably go back but because this did... I probably wouldn't go back. My boyfriend got an eggs Benedict and he was happy with it. So it was probably just my meal. read more

Amazing healthy options that taste incredible! Their fresh veggie juices are to die for. My fiancé hardly ever craves healthier food, but this has become one of his favorite brunch spots! Cute clean place....flavorful.. perfect portions. Would go back again to try different items.

Super friendly and nice service with lots of healthy (-ish, let's be honest we ordered the Monte Cristo French Toast) breakfast and lunch options. We split the Market Hash (yum!), the Monte Cristo French Toast (perfect balance of salty and sweet), and I got a Kale Tonic (which my love took a hard pass on and I quite enjoyed). Just had the Chickichanga with a side of the Million Dollar Bacon. First Watch... I... LOVE you... SO MUCH. The Vera Cruz sauce was kinda weird so I'm glad it came in a ramekin on the side. However, the sour cream was a nice little touch to lightly cool the spice of the chicken and chilies. If I had though to waste time taking pictures of my food before eating it, I would've added one in this review. I CAN say the food came looking exactly as it did in the pictures on the menu. SO...!!! GOOD!!!! AHHHH!!!!!!! First Watch! read more

When me and my sister came here at first I looked at the place and I was like where are you taking me but we ended up here and it was actually really good. We ate the First Watch on Val Vista in Mesa. My waffle was cold and hard.. our waitress never checked on us. When tried to talk the the girl at the checkout she totally spaced us out. Just finished eating here and really enjoyed it!!! I was pretty hungry, but everything on the menu looked really good and I had a hard time deciding what to eat. I ended up choosing the breakfast sandwich with potatoes on the side and my boyfriend got the avocado toast with basted eggs. We got our food rather quick and it looked really good! The egg on my sandwich was popped and leaked out before I got to bite into it but it was still really tasty! My boyfriends looked really yummy he said it was really good. Overall would come back and try some of their other menu items. They also have fresh pressed juices and their eggs are all cage free which I appreciate!! read more
