    Lavender French Toast
    Stephanie C.

Located in a strip mall so plenty of parking available in the surrounding lots. Wait time was about 10-15 minutes on a Sunday morning, which was not bad, but they also had available open seating on some high top tables right by the front m, so we opted for that instead. The end seats are right by the waiting area, so if you sit there you may have some people waiting right behind you. Service was good considering how busy they can be, though once you get your food we didn't have anyone come by until we were done and waiting for the check. A little loud but you can still talk to/hear the people at your table. Food has always been consistent, good, with decent portion sizes. I recommend the Floridian French toast, which has very fresh fruit. I tried the seasonal special most recently, the lavender French toast and it was just as good - although it is on the sweeter side. The side of fresh potatoes was fine, though the potatoes were a bit soggy, the sauce on top and bacon were good. You also can't go wrong with the traditional breakfast.

If you go early, you don't have to wait. We got there around 9 am and sat right down. The restaurant is pretty standard with booths and tables, and the additional coat hooks were nice since it was a cold day. The staff were helpful. The food was good just some different takes on items. The Benedict came on like a soft ciabatta roll that was cut in half. The texture was just not the same as an English muffin. The donut was a delicious starter while we waited for our mains. The cheesecake made it extra delicious. I know the food quality is a little better than maybe a diner, but we will probably not come as often since it is more expensive.

My family loves First Watch so when I asked my MIL where she wanted to celebrate her birthday, she of course chose First Watch. I was able to join the waitlist for a Sunday morning for 8 people and we didn't have to wait after checking in. It worked out amazing as we were there at 9a and was in the lull between the super early eaters and those in church. All of our food was amazingly delicious. Because it was busy, our food came out a little slower and our cornbread that we wanted to come out first only came out 2 min before our meals. I also think they were understaffed as our server was a little hard to find, but you could tell that she was working so hard.

We ordered First Watch through UberEats and the food was surprisingly still pretty good when it arrived. Honestly, I think it would've been better to eat in person. The proportions were huge for the pancakes. I had the lemon and strawberry one and it was pretty good. It was a lot of food. The tacos were also surprisingly tasty as well. They're full of flavor. I got a few bites from my boyfriend's order. The lavender lemonade was super tasty. I was happy I could taste the lavender aroma and it wasn't just added for pretty photos.

Went here while visiting a friend in Denver. The service was GREAT! The food was ok, it wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. Some of my food seemed not cooked properly like the toast wasn't toasted and my potatoes were cooked well done on one side and a bit uncooked on the other side. The lavender drink was nice and I would try this place again because the service was really good!! It might have been an off day as they were so busy!!

Food: Awesome! For a drink I had the purple haze drink, which I renamed the lavender haze drink (iykyk), and it was excellent! Fresh tasting and a strong pop of color! For my meal I had the Elevated Egg Sandwich, and it was yummy. The avocado smash was quite nice, and I appreciated the freshness the greens brought. The potatoes were also good and were seasoned very well. Service: Our server was awesome! Very kind and super helpful. Ambience: A good breakfast/brunch place that reminds me of like a little farmhouse with their menus and such. Overall: Awesome! Good food, and juice, would totally come back!

Sue was a very attentive waitress and friendly. I had the Farmhouse Hash and it was delicious!

The family was craving some brunch and boy did this place come through. Our cousins live in the area and recommended the spot. They're regulars and I can definitely see why. The food was phenomenal. We shared a bunch of things such as the French Toast, Shrimp and Grits, lemon pancakes and a variety of omelets. Very friendly staff and we loved the farm style decor inside. It was our second attempt to try and get in because it gets packed. We went on a Monday so it wasn't too bad just before our flight out. We will be back for sure and you should tooThat Bloody Mary was pretty dang tasty as well and I love how you get the rest of the cocktail in the little carafe.

Came here in a whim and really liked going to the location in Littleton which we love. This place was no exception. I've always gone for the breakfast tacos and their specialty drinks. Great place for bunch or lunch!

    Runny eggs...

Well, let me 1st list the positives. I ordered my food through the First Watch app, which is a very easy process. My food was ready when I arrived. My order was correct. I ordered a loaf of their seedlicious bread, and a package of granola. I haven't tried either yet, but imagine that they're delicious. I just moved to this neighborhood from Lakewood. The Lakewood location is much like my "Cheers" where everybody knows my name. So I have a long history in absolutely loving First Watch. I don't typically do takeout, but it was getting late and there was a 30 minute wait on the app so I decided to order online. Again, all of that went smoothly. Here are the issues that I had today. Back in the day I actually open the first drive-through espresso shop in Denver. I got a warning during a surprise food safety inspection because I had a crate with 4 gallons of milk sitting on the floor of my walk-in. And I learned a valuable lesson food can never be placed on the floor. When I arrived to pick up my order, it indeed was very busy. I did notice a bag of food sitting next to the cash register... On the floor. OK well maybe it's just my history that caused me to think they should've at least put it on the counter? Now to my burrito. I can understand cutting costs. But the ingredients list cage free scrambled eggs. I just want to say two over easy poached eggs are not scrambled eggs. I really hate runny eggs. Plus it tastes different when it's more like egg salad and not scrambled eggs. When you're only getting a chunk of yoke or a chunk of white. I know I know it's a minor thing. And I probably wouldn't have done 3 star review if it was just one of the two things. but today I felt like pointing it out. I will go again and give it five stars next time I'm sure. it will be great. I trust that this location is up to snuff and it was just a busy day? I'm sure the kitchen was just trying to economize, though irritating to me is understandable.

Plain breakfast. Nothing to get excited about. Prices were high to make you think there were better than they really were.

Seated in a booth. Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. I had to ask the hostess to ask our waitress to bring our drinks because we never saw our waitress again after placing our order. She brought the waters and 1 minute later our food arrived lukewarm. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. -Celiac- Gluten-free review-…read more Early Bird!! You did that. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, everything was A1 son. The vibe is cozy and local, and every interaction we had with staff was friendly and warm. The drip coffee was sooooooo good. I could have put an entire carafe away on flavor alone. The cocktail menu had some unique drinks on it, didn't partake during this visit but definitely would try them on a future visit. The owner's daughter has celiac disease, so they take great precautions with cross-contact and most of the menu can be made gluten free. No pancakes or biscuits, but the fryer is dedicated and they have a dedicated waffle maker. I got the chicken fried chicken and my wife got the chicken and waffles. Yall. YALL. YALLLLLLLLLLL!!! Where tf do I even begin. Chicken was perfectly crispy and tender tender. I could bathe in that white gravy and die happy. Potatoes cooked perfectly. Gf bread toasted perfectly. Arugula fresh. Shishito pepper perfectly charred. Idk what yall use for hot sauce, but that joint was GOOD. And I know this is a small footnote, but this plate also came with tomato. When eating out and there's a veggie 'garnish' it's typically served some nothing-burger, tasteless, it's just there for a pop of color tomato. But even the tomato on this plate was so subtly good. And that tells me a lottttt about the kitchen here. When you care about every detail, it shows, and this plate was a home run for me. One of the best breakfasts I've had out to eat hands down. I cleaned that plate. My wife's chicken and waffles were incredibly good. The waffles were thick, but crispy and soft in all the right spots, and the flavor was so good that they could stand completely by themselves- no butter, no syrup, no nothiiiing. Hers came with a small trough of that sweet ass white gravy that basically rendered her side of syrup useless. We have syrup at home! Her chicken was perfectly cooked as well. We didn't want for water or coffee refills at all. I believe our server's name was Ashley and she was on it. She very confidently answered all my questions about safety and handling for the gluten-free options we both had. Yall are killing it here in Midtown, Early Bird.
