Visited on a late Friday morning. Restaurant did not appear to be extremely busy and we were seated right away outside. Service was slow. My husband ordered an english muffin and the server finally returned to our table after a long period of time to say our food was delayed because they were trying to defrost it. He returned a second time, still without our meal and stated it wasn't defrosting under the heat lamp and so they would bring the food without. When the food finally came out (less the English muffin) I asked if our food had been sitting. Server responded no. I stated my scrambled eggs were overcooked and he actually disputed my statement and replied "no, they are not overcooked". I beg to differ, you can be the judge. Scrambled egg should be cooking 101. Wouldn't trust this restaurant with anything else. Won't return. read more

Honestly, I was very disappointed in coming here. They advertise having vegan options, when there is only one thing vegan on their menu, the chia seed pudding, which is more of a snack. They say they can also make modifications to existing dishes, however, when I ordered the veggie burger as vegan, it came out with mayonnaise. I came here for a celebration with friends, but I probably won't be returning. Snooze has much better dietary accommodations. read more

If you go at opening the thing is the people who are regulars just seem to go and sit down so if you have to wait it might seem long as the people didn't seem to come up to the front so just a heads up Food is great and honestly I've eaten at First Watch here and in Florida and I would always go here. Million dollar bacon is a MUST get read more

All I can say is don't order eggs, at all. They don't seem to know how to prepare them. Let me explain. I ordered the barbacoa taco Benedict plate. Two poached eggs on top both of them completely undercooked. Like raw undercooked. The whites, we're not white, they were clear. Ok maybe a fluke, but gross. Wife got regular eggs Benedict. Again two poached eggs on top. One was basically hard boiled. Completely over cooked yellow solid ball of yolk. The other, not even joking, completely raw. My sister got some plate that came with two over medium eggs. They were together as one , and I don't even know how they did this, but one was hard and one was soft. I couldn't even replicate that if I tried. Oh and don't get the Bloody Mary unless you REALLY like Worchester sauce. read more

If there was a Breakfast Club, First Watch would be in it. Before I even start my review I'd like to highlight a that First Watch is a part of the "No Wait App." Yes folks, I said "NO WAIT." I was able to get in line while driving to the restaurant and I was seating approximately 5 minutes after arriving. How neat is that? So neat! Upon arriving, you immediately get the farm-to-table feels. First Watch prides itself on locally sourced foods. After a lot of contemplating between the Healthy Turkey and the Avocado Toast, I decided to order the Healthy Turkey because I was starving! The Healthy Turkey was essentially an egg white omelet with chunks of turkey, onions, tomatoes, spinach, and feta; all served with whole grain toast and house made preserves. My entire meal was only 570 calories and my pants were loving it. The taste was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it to any person who is looking for a healthy and wholesome meal. My husband ended up ordering the BLT Benedict which featured two poached eggs served on ciabatta bread, stacked with bacon, tomatoes, avocado, and lemon dressed arugula, covered in a delicious hollandaise sauce. My husband loved it but ordered the house potatoes as opposed to the greens that the dish usually comes with. The only reason that First Watch gets four stars instead of five...is that when we were first seated our waitress promised water which didn't come until after our meal. Although our waitress was super sweet not having a beverage is high on my list of pet peeves. Aside from our water incident I really enjoyed my visit and I will definitely be back! read more

Good place for breakfast, brunch, lunch. I'll come in just to drink the Kale Tonic. It's light, refreshing and tastes great. And now they serve alcohol so I can get a Kale Tonic with vodka! Food is fresh and healthy. There's so many different items I want to try every time I come. The menu has lots of seasonal items so it's always changing. My go to is the Farmhouse Hash or French Toast. T likes all the benedicts. The Elevated Egg Sandwich is also good. The Million Dollar Bacon is a must have. There's usually a wait but we always utilize the waitlist option on Yelp and it cuts down our time waiting at the restaurant. read more

We are not big on chain restaurants but when we do, it's because we know the quality and more importantly, consistently. We had never been to this location, in town visiting our family and friends. We both agree, this is the worst experience from a First Watch ever. Our server, Amanda, was great! We don't know what to attribute the food to. It's a Monday morning, we know businesses are short staffed or have new employees so things might not be up to standard. I opted to go traditional. That's safe, right? The bacon was cold. Like, cold cold. Made earlier today and tossed on the plate cold. The English muffin was barely toasted and my over-medium eggs were over hard. No yolk for you! My lovely wife had the market veggie omelet. The house roasted mushrooms were delicious, but the other vegetables were hard and crunchy, and raw kale and zucchini have no place in eggs. The egg of the omelet was overcooked and dry, and also seemed to be cooked in advance and used more like a burrito wrapper than actually incorporated with the other ingredients. The English muffin was white and barely warm, let alone toasted. So hopefully this was just an off day and others will have a delicious experience like we usually expect from First Watch! read more

First time at the First Watch ! We walked in and asked if they allowed pets, sure thing ! We sat out on the patio and were treated to perfect weather and a distant view of the flatIrons. After 30 more min I got the text . Funny that's one hr wait time since I check in. No good wait that long when your so hungry. read more

Brought out the million dollar bacon, burnt to a crisp. Black. Picture included. Not one apology. Really acted irritated that we wanted something that didn't taste charred. Next, they bring out the kids meal. Another burnt bacon. And, trust me, I'm not the person whom likes limp bacon. It was just straight up burnt. A man came out, and asked,"is this okay for you". As if, we were being critical. Not the case. You can see the picture for yourself. You can also look at my dozens of other reviews, which are mainly five starts. Benedict's were cold. Egg whites runny. It's just odd seeings how many of these dishes they cook. Meh. Too many other good places around to waste my time of burnt, or undercooked food. With rude service from two staff members. Judge for yourself. read more

First Watch - Staff acted like I was being critical. What's your thoughts? A little charred? - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Northglenn, Colorado

Really enjoyed the decor, service and the food was outstanding. Had the Carnitas Breakfast burrito and it was excellent. It's not the cheapest place to grab brunch, but the quality and tastes are a can't miss. Also join their email club and get a buy one get one free to try it out. Only downside is they don't do any specialty coffee! No lattes, Capuccino's or espresso. (That's why it's 4 stars) Strange for a breakfast/brunch only place. Oh well, just swing by your favorite coffee shop on the way. read more

Having heard nothing but great things about First Watch from Carrie J. we got together a little breakfast date this past Sunday and got to check it out for ourselves! We checked in early via the NoWait app to help limit our wait. We still had about 10 minutes once we arrived, with only 1 group ahead of us. Def recommend this for those busy Sunday morning brunch hours! They also recommend calling ahead if you have a group of 7 or more. Upon browsing the menu I chose to stray from my usual benedicts' and nosh on the biscuits and gravy with their specialty seasoned potatoes instead of leafy greens. Mmm... Very tasty! The gravy is actually made with turkey versus pork, so it'a a bit healthier for you too! The biscuits were a little bland, but not terrible. The BF had the AB&J waffles. I paired my meal with an iced coffee which came out with cream and some sort of sweetener. Perfect for my tastes, but if you like a dark iced coffee you may not enjoy it. Also I noticed mid way through my meal that they apparently DO offer mimosas. I wish they had that printed on the menu and not just on the chalkboard wall. Bummer. Service was actually quite fast and the server gave us plenty of time to browse the menu and make our meal selections. The decor was kind of a modern farmhouse chic. Quite comfortable. I'd def stop back by First Watch if in the area and seeking a tasty breakfast/brunch spot! read more

Named for the first shift of the day, guys who took over Egg and I's around the country. His is NOT Egg and I though! Food is fresh delicious and full of healthy options. The vibe is friendly with a small town family feel. Great staff (Alexis was awesome and it's her third state with First Watch!!). That's saying something. Items we had and loved: Chickichanga (sooooo delicious!): million dollar bacon and lemon ricotta pancakes. Potatoes were excellent. Soft with crispy outsides and great seasoning. Multigrain toast is HUGE and delicious. If you like avocado toast this is the place to get it! We will be looking for these everywhere we travel ! read more

Served hot , fresh and Delicious ! 30 minute wait, but wirth it! Love the seasonal specials!

Plain breakfast. Nothing to get excited about. Prices were high to make you think there were better than they really were.

We managed to have breakfast here just before dine in was shut down again in Colorado and we loved this place. The food is great, I like that there are some dishes with a 'twist' and not everything is 100% traditional, and you can always get traditional breakfast here if you like. The service was good too and the place looks neat and clean. read more

I love first watch! It is one of my list favorite places to go for breakfast. Everything I have ever had there has been delicious! From the drinks to the food! Waiting for the Luca John Foundation founder and president I was impressed at how this place is busy. Locals seem to frequent here. The inside is even more impressive. It's nicely decorated and open. My wife and I have made six visits to First Watch in Northglenn, CO and we have ordered a different menu item each time. My wife's dairy and mushroom allergy have never been an issue. My palate has enjoyed each item I have selected without any regrets. Kelly, our amazing server, has made wonderful suggestions that have added "pop" to each meal we have had. Everyone should visit (only open for breakfast, brunch, or lunch) First Watch at least once. Ambiance equal to most breakfast/ diner places. read more

We joined the "wait list" online via Yelp otherwise the wait would have been quite a bit on Sunday at lunchtime. Seems like a healthy and fresh restaurant, my hubs ordered a skillet, I had eggs Benedict and our son got the banana granola pancake. My poached eggs were cooked all the way through to hard boiled and the hollandaise sauce was way too lemony. The pancake was great but pricey for what you get. Not sure this place would be first on my list to come back but it was decent. read more

First Watch seems to be the new and trendy breakfast location. When we arrived around 8am it was already packed full and when we entered, we were greeted by "how many?" by a rather frantic older man that seemed to be having trouble typing my name and phone number on a wireless tablet. Fortunately, the wait was short and we were seated in a booth at the far end of the restaurant by the kitchen doors. The server quickly took our order and shortly thereafter the food had arrived. My eggs benedict wasnt the most flavorful, but did have a slice of tomato on it, which was a unique and interesting touch. An interesting item on their menu is called the "Floridian French Toast" which is like a regular French toast but piled with sliced banana, kiwi, and strawberry. The prices for the menu items were average for other restaurants in the area and they are only open for breakfast and lunch. read more

My friend and I visited yesterday and both of us got extremely sick 30 minutes after eating. I unfortunately am still so sick today and have considered going to the ER multiple times due to the pain of this food poisoning. Interestingly, I work in public health (specifically infectious diseases) and I am so surprised how fast this started from time of eating for both of us. This unfortunately likely means that there was a high bacterial colony rate in whatever we ate. I would consider foods I ate the last 72 hours before symptom onset, but my friend also got sick and we only shared one thing - at this First Watch location. We shared a side order of the biscuits and Turkey gravy, it arrived to our table 45 minutes to an hour after we ordered and was cold. This should have been my first red flag. I had three bites. THREE BITES. And yet, I feel like I'm literally dying. I will be calling the CDC to report this and hope that we are the only people that had this issue. God speed to anyone else who ate there yesterday. read more

The online check in capability does not work. Do not trust it. We checked in with a total of 11 but we did it separately with a table of 5 snd one for 6 so we could follow COVID protocols and get seated faster. The app said 20-30 minutes. When we got there, we checked in at the desk. The hostess said oh you are a party of 11? We explained that we were together but were fine sitting with 5 and 6. 40 minutes later we checked in and she said "tables of 11 take awhile." We explained AGAIN, that we wanted to split. After an hour, I went back to the hostess and a gentleman said, "oh, you want to split?" We finally said we would just go 4, 4, 3 and they just seated us at the next 3 tables they had. Our server and food were great after that. read more

I really want to like this, but most times the food is underwhelming. I had a watermelon water that was delicious!! It had watermelon and mint. It was crisp and sweet. Stopped in this place with a buddy for some breakfast and this place is actually pretty good. First Watch aims more towards serving healthy meals, which isn't always so bad. I ordered the farmhouse skillet and this plate was absolutely amazing! I also ordered the "million dollar bacon" which was just as amazing. The service is really good and our server was very knowledgeable about a lot of things on the menu. The ONLY downfall to this restaurant is: we've been back twice to try to get a table but both times we were quoted a 50 minute wait time or longer. The odd thing is, both times that we were quoted these ridiculous wait times, there were only about 10 people waiting and about half the restaurant had open tables. Weird, I know... we'll try to make our way back to this place because the food is amazing, we're just hoping to actually get a table. Two thumbs on the FOOD! read more
