The ambiance…read moreis great but the tables and chairs could use some repair as every table we tried wobbled a lot. I did not take pictures of the inside as it is a very busy weekend here. First complaint is there is no guidance for people who are from out of town on how to order or where to go. I have been watching the out of town parents confused as well trying to figure this place out! The iPads set up to order are not sales leading or helpful. When we picked up our coffees is when we FOUND the full menus to read (AFTER we ordered). Not only did they lose sales but we did not see any meat options to add to our order! The lattes tried were a make your own and are better than Starbucks. I had the regular with sweetener (had to ask for a little more sweetener as you can not choose more than one of the same item) and prefer a light to no foam but it is not an option. The second option was the golden girl with honey and cinnamon. Good but different. The first food was the Susie Basic ($11 +$0.50 for strawberries) the crepe that is too thick for a traditional crepe, did not come filled with the strawberries or anything else it was just folded into quarters and topped with the equivalent of 4/5 whole strawberries and whipped cream on the side. The second food item was the French toasted waffle pancake ($15) this is a great concept but it was under cooked and doughy but more than enough food for a meal. It would have been better with a breakfast meat included! Over all the rating is a 3 because of service, the confusion, and the immediately asking for a tip when you order not knowing you really get no service before or after you get food! Even water is a self serve dispenser! It's a great place, different concept in food service. It wants fast food as far service but set up to be table service. After our food arrived we were directed to the silverware and napkins. No one checks on food quality or needs after you are served your food!

They did NOT disappoint!! I am officially hooked! From the moment we walked in, I could see and feel the sheer energy coming from the crowd and the ambiance: it already felt like great food and great people. It was packed to the brim for Wine Wednesday! They had one table available for two! Our server, Sarah, was outstanding!! She was sweeter than pie and extremely attentive! She always made sure we had exactly what we wanted when we wanted it. She advised sharing a bottle of wine since we wanted the same one, and since it was half price most wines. The young manager on duty delivered and uncorked the bottle, and she was just as sweet as Sarah! Her name escapes me, but I will find out the next time I go. The Spanish Tempranillo we tried was divine! It was perfectly balanced without being too dry or too tannic or too sweet. It was so smooth and thoroughly enjoyable to drink! For food, we started with the goat cheese bruschetta. It was perfection - rich in flavor and well balanced in the distribution of each component! From there, we tried the special of Steak Tips Au Pauvre - with a peppercorn wine sauce. We chose brussels sprouts as our side, and it also came with a side salad. We weren't too hungry, so we split it. Sarah even had the kitchen split both the salad and the main dish in half for us! The salad was so fresh (with ripe grape tomatoes!!) and the ranch dressing was classic and delightful. The wine sauce was everything I wanted it to be: rich, complex, thick, and buttery. It reminded me of the beautiful sauces you find on a steak or chicken dish at a sidewalk cafe in Paris. The dessert menu looked amazing, but we didn't have any room left. All I can say is you MUST try this place!!! If you can find Sarah, even better!

The restaurant looked really nice. I loved the decor and the layout. We got in, and got seated right away. You can pretty much see the open kitchen environment even from our table. We ordered a bottle of wine (delicious), and noticed some guests bringing their own, though I'm not sure about corkage fees. We started with the smoked pork croquettes, which were outstanding and ended up being the highlight of the meal. For entrées, we tried the lamb, braised beef, halibut, duck tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Everything was served promptly, and overall the food was very good, though there's room for small improvements. The braised beef came highly recommended but didn't stand out in flavor or texture. The lamb, cooked medium rare, was excellent. The ravioli was rich and tasty, though the cream sauce slightly overpowered the dish. The halibut was well prepared, but the potato leek cream truly stole the show. As we were leaving, the staff surprised us with a serving of strawberry ice cream for the birthday guest; a sweet and memorable gesture that capped off the evening nicely. Overall, a great experience with attentive service and a few standout dishes.
