The good things first, nice atmosphere and service was ok. Now not so good . The food sucked, potatoes were burnt all on one side and the egg over easy was hard as can be. Try Denny's better off . read more

It was migraine-inducingly noisy, and had very VERY slow service. The staff did try hard though and were pleasant. We left $10 on our table and left after 50 minutes. We will try again in a few weeks after they get their act together. read more

Fresh open good food can't complain. Great staff and atmosphere always a pleasure to visit this establishment.

Outstanding, fresh food and truly professional staff. If you are someone who complains about price then don't come here. But, if you understand that high quality of food and staff costs a little more then you must check out this restaurant. read more

Decided to order from First Watch for our Sunday morning breakfast. We didn't feel like standing in line so we tried to order from our phone on the website. Not able to place the order. Tried from my iPad. Not able to place the order. Tried from my computer. Not able to place the order. Called and the phone message said to order online or by the app. Downloaded the app. Not able to place the order (message saying it was not available for this location). Maybe we will try First Watch again another time. Probably not. read more

Not only is the food and service outstanding...the ambience is so inviting! After several times of being at First Watch, it's my favorite breakfast/brunch place in Mesa. read more

Our server Kenzie was Amazing! Definitely will be back. Food was delicious! The bacon was off the charts!

Worst food ever! Nice waitress but the eggs were absolutely raw! The potatoes were BURNED! ACTUALLY CHARCOAL WITH EGGS THAT WERE CLEAR...SNOT! The toast looked wonderful but tasted like cardboard! Two of us had potatoes both were burned black as charcoal! $50.00 breakfast that was not edible! The poor waitress was left holding the bag! Will NEVER return! I will tell EVERYONE how awful and potentially deadly it was! No manager apparently on site. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! read more

We called ahead to get our names on the list, we arrived on time and they lost our names. They then said it would be a 20-30min wait... we waited 45 minutes :( food was ok... portions small except the pancakes... disappointed read more

Great experience eating in and online. Love the avocado toast. Take advantage of "special" items.

The food is really good! Breakfast or lunch. Either checkin on their app or sir at the bar.

Bad service, the person was slowly, she never came to us to ask is wee need something, the food very poorly cooked.

Fantastic breakfast! Delicious and fresh omelette with garden fresh ingredients. We eat here every time we are in the Mesa area

First time this location. With the workers shortage I have lowered my expectations when dining out. Yet it can still be disappointing. Arrived just after doors opened and was only the third person in restaurant. Was not greeted and I finally had to hunt down host to actually get a table. After ordering, food took 20 minutes to arrive! Server was mediocre at best. Food is definitely good but a bit pricey for breakfast. Usually when a restaurant is so slow the manager will stop by with a quick 'how is everything?' but that didn't happen either. Think I'll just stay home and cook it myself from now on. read more

Although the food is good it's not worth waiting an hour and a half to be seated and another hour + for the food to be served. Hostess advises the wait was due to the backup in the kitchen, absolutely annoying and a waste of time. read more

Went here twice so far since they opened. Our waitress was PJ, she's super helpful at giving recommendations and gives samples of juices too. The kale tonic is my all time favorite drink. Haven't been disappointed in anything I've had there or the service either. Would definitely recommend this location and PJ to others. read more

Excellent service and the food was great. Light and bright dining room with lots of room between tables.

Expensive, overrated, and lousy service. Mediocre food. I get that "everyone is short staffed" but after several attempts, we're done.

The staff was unfortunately not the best she never came around to ask if we wanted any drinks or refills and she didn't even bring the food. The food was disgusting we had pancakes and waffles there were soggy, and it tastes like it was raw. The pancakes fell parks and not cooked. read more

Being an avid fan of breakfasts I was excited when First Watch opened on Power Rd. In Mesa. The staff is always friendly and service is good. The food is always fresh and tasty. But there were a few issues the first couple times. First time: Ordered the loaded omelet. However just wanted to substitute the ham in it for bell pepper And wanted to upgrade a single plain pancake to include real maple syrup. The young friendly server Even repeated back to me "no problem we can substitute the ham for bell pepper ". As she served me the omelet she said "I made sure the kitchen gave you extra ham in the omelet ". Also was served the large pancake with syrup. I was thinking they were very generous with costly maple syrup because it came in a large container. Found out in next visit it was not maple syrup. Second time: ordered the same thing ...with potatoes instead of the salad that normally comes with it.. (Sorry, but at 8 in morning I want potatoes with an omelet not a salad). Now another friendly server proceeded to serve the omelet with a salad with it. I mentioned it should of been Potatoes. She quickly removed it and apologized and went back to kitchen with it. Few minutes later She brought it back and said a side of potatoes was coming. Fine...except by now the omelet was luke warm. I did get the real maple syrup this time..it comes in a small jar. Visits afterwords have been perfect. Friendly service, fresh tasty food and prices seem fairly reasonable (except $7 for a plain pancake with maple Syrup is a bit rich). If you go there and just order they way it is listed you shouldn't have a issue. Any upgrades or substitutions Seem to throw the servers off... Note to owner/managers...maybe digital tablets some restaurants use might help read more

Crab avocado toast was gas. Alex, our server, is the goat. The whole place looks modern and nice.

Went to First Watch with my friends today and it was amazing! Our server was PJ she was attentive and super nice and all of our food came out super fast and it was literally perfect! I got the BLT Benedict and it was delicious! Restaurant was very clean and nice. read more

The food is very good. I love the trifecta. The ambiance is nice and modern. Most of the time the service is fast and nice but the wait can be long to get in. read more

First Watch is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good and other times it's not. Seems like they never get all the good out at one time. Servers are pretty good most of the time. Ambiance is ok but really gets noisy. I didn't like the fact that you couldn't get a shot added to your drink sine they give you plenty of juice. Was told they don't do that. Wondering why they serve drinks if that's how they do it. Definitely not there to get drunk but would like to have a shot with my leftover juice. read more

There wasn't a wait to be seated so they can't be slammed but I've been waiting 25 minutes for my simple order. Someone just came to all the tables waiting to apologize and say 10 more minutes. read more

This is by far the best breakfast food I have ever had, even compared to other First Watch locations. The eggs Benedict is all from scratch and the whole dish just emanates freshness. I also love the Toasted Cinnamon Cereal Milk breakfast cocktail. The decor is great and the wait staff is wonderful. read more

We went in early on Sunday , we thought before it gets too busy, we were able to get a table right away , 45 minutes later , we still did not get our food. The girls apologize that kitchen was running late, everyone is new, not enough people to serve. As a business owner you should be ready to take care of people and not give them excuses . read more

Great breakfast spot I recommend the breakfast tacos , very competent help, friendly, and attentive

This place is mediocre. We got seated outside which is fine. Then maybe 5 mins later another couple got seated. They got their food ordered and their drinks before we were even acknowledged. They left before we got our food. When we got our food it was cold. It is just disappointing when the service is bad and then the food comes out cold. Hopefully others will have better service and warm food! read more

Very good food, my new favorite breakfast joint for their options, and flavors but our server mischarged us, and it does get pricey, and it does take a while. So if you go, go when it's slow and expect to be up charged or mischarged. The food will be great, but the service is lacking. read more

Best breakfast I've had in a long time and they have this Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal cocktail that is to die for! Don't get me started on their aesthetic, very very well put together read more

Waited over 15 mins and still no one took our food order or even asked us if we wanted coffee. Restaurant was 1/3 full (not busy). This was the first time I was going to try First Watch. Definitely not the best customer service when opening in a new location. I've heard some good things about the food, not sure if I will try it again though. read more

I was served the wrong order and the service wasn't what I expected considering the prices.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the staff here. My fiancé and I went in to get lunch today, we ordered a sandwich and I had asked to make sure there was no mayo or mustard on the sandwich due to a severe allergy. Unfortunately, my sandwich came out with mayo and I had an allergic reaction. They were quick to respond, let us go with no issues to grab my allergy medication. The waitress seemed new, but she was so sweet! Just wanted to thank everyone for being incredible during my freak out moment! read more

We love having a Firstwatch at this location, so close to our house. Came in on a busy Sunday, the wait was long a little over a hour. We did notice several table that were not sat. Our server did mention that we could put our name down before we come in on there website, we will definitely do this next time. After being sat PJ came to our table pretty fast. She told us about the specials and asked if we wanted to get our breakfast started. We still need sometime to look, but she offered to get the kids breakfast start and some million dollar bacon. We loved that she did this! The food did take a little long, but she kept us updated and we had our bacon to munch on while we waited. All of our food came out hot and delicious. Great service and great food. read more

My buddy and I went there yesterday and sat at the bar for a late brunch. We were helped out by Drew and he had by far the best customer service I've ever experienced. Young kid, working hard! I'm extremely appreciative of the level of service he gave us and treated us like family. It was clear and obvious he was the energy and brought a positive attitude to the entire restaurant! read more

I love how updated this location is. I would usually go to the first watch off the 60 but this one is much closer to me. The food was wonderful and the service was good. The only problem I had was when I ordered a mimosa, it took a very long time. I could see it sitting on the bar but I didn't want to take it because we were sitting at a table. It sat there for a while until it was brought to us so it was warm :( but overall, I prefer this location! read more

Great food. Excellent Service and clean. Will definitely go back. So nice to have a very open concept restaurant.

I came in with a friend and had the best service ever! PJ was absolutely amazing! Great service, super nice and made us feel so welcomed! Definitely coming back! read more

First time visitor. Very nice ambiance. Staff were very friendly. I ordered classic eggs benedict. Eggs were hard! Hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon. Server asked if everything tasted good. I pointed out the egg issue, and she said sorry, and that she would be right back. 10 minutes later she returned with my bill and said nothing. I was a little amused. I paid my bill and left. read more
