I went all in with the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Million Dollar Potatoes, and I must say --this combo delivered. The pancakes had just the right balance of sweet and tangy. The lemon flavor was bright without being overpowering, and the ricotta added this creamy richness that made every bite feel indulgent but still light. The syrup was warm and the perfect finish. And those Million Dollar Potatoes lived up to their namesake: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with savory, herby goodness. Great customer service at this location. The food was decent. I ordered the breakfast sandwich but was not impressed at all. I asked for the potatoes to be fully cooked and they were not and the sandwich didn't have a taste to it except it was very buttery. Use their own farm fresh ingredients used to cook good quality food. So glad the have turkey sausage option, even have a turkey sausage biscuits and gravy option! The pancakes are huge take up the whole plate and very flavorful. I had the fall special honey Chipotle chicken dish and subscribe the bacon out for turkey sausage. It comes in a bowl with potatoes, eggs however you like, Avocado, crema sauce and sweet picked onions. Also got a sharable order of cinnamon apple donut holes with Carmel drippings sauce and icing. Wow! Everything was good, added a little pepper and salt to my entrée and it was just fine. I love the fresh food and the taste. What I don't like is the set up of the entrance/exit/waiting/payment area... that's right all crammed together in one place I tried using the app to schedule my arrival time and the app said that part wasn't available. If they have such a limited space/area to wait, I need to app to work. Our server was decent and pleasant. The restaurant itself is nice, bathrooms decent. The food was tasty. Hot coffee was flowing. I loved that they brought coffee right away and kept a carafe on our table. I had the salmon eggs benedict, so good! Other dishes our party had inlcuded the salmon fritata, breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy, and the seasonal pancake (see pics). I love going to First Watch for breakfast! It's always a great experience. It can get pretty busy, especially on Sundays, so be prepared for a little wait, but it's absolutely worth it. I always order the Farmhouse Scramble because it has a little bit of everything I love: potatoes, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, eggs, and I always add extra cheese. It's delicious every time! We held our department meeting at First Watch this morning, and it was a fantastic experience all around. The restaurant seated us at their spacious community table, which comfortably fit our group of 7 but with space for 10 and still allowed for a private and productive discussion. The team had nothing but praise for the service, coffee, and food. I personally enjoyed the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee from the summer menu -- I'm still thinking about how good it was! Portion sizes were generous, and the food was top notch. I had the Chili Chorizo Omelette and my goodness was it one of the best omelette's I've had in a long time. The highlight of my visit was the Blackberry Lemon Cream French Toast. The thick-cut bread, topped with lemon cream, fresh blackberries, mixed berry compote, creme anglaise, and spiced gingerbread cookie crumbles, was a dream. The lemon cream, in particular, was so delicious that it could be enjoyed on its own... I want it for my morning toast! The dish was lightly dusted with powdered cinnamon sugar, adding a perfect finishing touch. I could eat this every week. The service was excellent,and we did have a newer server who was very nice and attentive. He took the time to double and triple check for food allergies, handling everything with care. Waiter had a great suggestion to spice up my Bloody Mary and the food was delicious. I'm a breakfast person and one could eat here once a week and barely scratch the surface of the menu. Came here for Mother's Day brunch and loved it! It was impossible to get reservations anywhere but First Watch has an online waitlist you can join in advance which was really nice. We were seated outside which was fine with us, but it was just a table on the sidewalk of the plaza so didn't really feel like a cute vibe. The food and service made up for it though! We got their specialty iced coffee and fresh made juice, a little pricey but delicious. We ordered the fritata, salmon Benedict, chickichanga, and the egg sandwich and everything was so good! They have a decently sized menu with many good options. I've been here a few times and it's always hard to decide what to get. The service is great, the staff is friendly, and I love the rustic look in all their restaurants. They have a lot of locations in Indy, including a downtown location! I ordered the banana granola pancakes during my lat visit and they were amazing! I prefer then over the lemon ricotta, which I found to be on the drier side. The lemon topping was delicious. I have been here many, many times. After hearing local chatter about lemon ricotta pancakes and catching a glimpse of their beauty, I had to run right over. Honestly, they taste even better than I had even imagined. What a unique concept, yum. Other things I like about this place include the variety of the menu, with breakfast and lunch options, the million dollar bacon is to die for, the fresh pressed juice is as beautiful as it is delicious, pricing is reasonable, and with their app you can check in online for a table and even sign up for a free entree on your birthday. The quality of ingredients here for everything is absolutely top notch, so the food definitely feels like fine dining. I also appreciate that they bring hot syrup to your table - warm syrup is SO much better than room temperature. What I don't quite love is trying to find a parking spot, with it being in a strip of stores. At busy times, getting a spot isn't the easiest. Also, service is not the best/most friendly here. I also had the regular eggs Benedict and we also had the cinnamon chip special pancake that's in for the holiday season. They have nice outdoor dining with heating, which was very nice it was a little chilly outside. Everyone working there was really nice! I always love what I order, but I decided to try a new seasonal menu option. I ordered the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict. The meat was flavorful, but the dish itself wasn't very warm. I didn't enjoy the black beans with pico de gallo. The beans were swimming in bean sauce and it was oddly very warm. I also ordered the Purple Haze drink, which was very pretty. However, the lavender was very overpowering, which is totally my fault for ordering a drink with lavender. My friend ordered an iced coffee, which tasted amazing, and the Ham and Gruyère omelet, which was good. The service and location is great, but the smell of the restaurant and inconsistency with the food at various locations made me give it a three instead of a four or five. read more
