I have been here many, many times. After hearing local chatter about lemon ricotta pancakes and catching a glimpse of their beauty, I had to run right over. Honestly, they taste even better than I had even imagined. What a unique concept, yum. Other things I like about this place include the variety of the menu, with breakfast and lunch options, the million dollar bacon is to die for, the fresh pressed juice is as beautiful as it is delicious, pricing is reasonable, and with their app you can check in online for a table and even sign up for a free entree on your birthday. The quality of ingredients here for everything is absolutely top notch, so the food definitely feels like fine dining. I also appreciate that they bring hot syrup to your table - warm syrup is SO much better than room temperature. What I don't quite love is trying to find a parking spot, with it being in a strip of stores. At busy times, getting a spot isn't the easiest. Also, service is not the best/most friendly here. The staff just seems overly exhausted, tense. Overall, this place is worth stopping by time and time again. It's unique and utterly delicious. read more

Six words for you: cornbread carnitas bowl and kale tonic. Kale tonic you ask?! Sounds bitter. NOPE. It is amazing, and balanced out with the lemon, fuji apple and cucumber that's also in the juice. They don't add sugar, so it's good for you and OOOHHH so delicious. I was surprised, so you will be too! I first came here for a Yelp event and had gone my whole life thinking this was a health-food cafe (weight watchers, first watch... I know, I know!). The staff was absolutely incredible and probably one of the most united and enthusiastic teams I've ever seen at a restaurant. Super impressive. We also got to try a lot of different dishes. When I returned a few weeks later, it was therefore super easy to order and recommend my favorite dishes to the hubs! First Watch has a few seasonal dishes that they rotate and when we ate here, the cornbread carnitas bowl was one of them. It was soooooo good, complete with a runny egg and all of my favorite ingredients to complete a stellar Mexican-style breakfast. Our server was super nice and we even got to sit outside on the patio. How'd we snag such a great seat on a Saturday morning? We used their Yelp waitlist feature, so we got to lay in bed longer, and then simply show up a few minutes before our table was ready. Super smooth! read more

I've been going to First Watch for years, and this is my first time going to this location. The first thing I notice is that the restaurant has a bad smell, so we opted to seat outside. They have nice outdoor dining with heating, which was very nice it was a little chilly outside. Everyone working there was really nice! I always love what I order, but I decided to try a new seasonal menu option. I ordered the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict. The meat was flavorful, but the dish itself wasn't very warm. I didn't enjoy the black beans with pico de gallo. The beans were swimming in bean sauce and it was oddly very warm. I also ordered the Purple Haze drink, which was very pretty. However, the lavender was very overpowering, which is totally my fault for ordering a drink with lavender. My friend ordered an iced coffee, which tasted amazing, and the Ham and Gruyère omelet, which was good. The service and location is great, but the smell of the restaurant and inconsistency with the food at various locations made me give it a three instead of a four or five. read more

Highly impressed with the quality food, service, and experience at First Watch! I came for brunch on a Sunday at 12....pretty much peak time. While it was packedd, the host took my name and phone number and put me in a "digital line". I later learned that through the Yelp App you can check in and place yourself in line before you get to the restaurant, so cool. Once seated, our waiter came with a smile, difficult to do on a hectic day! I ordered a breakfast wrap, which was delicious. It came out hot without dripping in grease like other places will serve. The portion was enough to have leftovers to bring home. My friend got the yogurt bowl with house made granola and also had raving reviews. I would absolutely come back here again. This location had a large parking lot with available spots even on a packed day. read more

absolutely love the options and choices for food and drinks! Server very nice! fast and great service!

I have been visiting this location no less than once a month since the grand opening of this location. At first the we loved it so much that we were there every Sunday. During the week we would set up shop to work from "home" from shortly after they opened for the day until they closed. Pre pandemic, I would've given them a raving 5 star review. Now, while the food is still worthy of all 5 stars, it's visibly dirty and has a funky, dirty smell. We sent several of our dishes back for having visible dirt on them, and the wall next to our table was filthy. read more

Never disappointed in the food here. I love the seasonal features and variety on the menu. Great place to come with family as well.

This place is great! I am plant based vegan and trust me, I was able to find something to eat! I love that they have a seasonal menu and that I was able to look up the nutritional information/ingredients of each menu item. I finally decided to try the A.M.Superfoods Bowl which consists of coconut milk chia seed pudding, Berry compote, granola, blueberries and banana slices. In addition, it comes with almond butter toast which was delicious and lastly I did order a side of fresh fruit because...WHY NOT-lol!! The portion of this meal was more than enough and I was full! I definitely recommend this for anyone even if you're not plant based vegan, but specifically if you are plant based vegan, here is option. I will definitely come back to this restaurant even when they change out their menu because I'm sure I'll still be able to find a meal to enjoy. The service/staff were friendly, quick, accurate and accommodating. read more

I've been to First Watch at other locations, but this was my first time at the Keystone one. We stopped in during the mid-morning on a weekday and were seated right away. The inside has a charming modern feel with nice decor. The water is served in a single jar that is left at the table for convenient self-refills. I also got a bottomless coffee and our waitress kindly left the entire pot on the table. The coffee was average but definitely drinkable. The menu has quite a few options, with typical favorites like 'The Traditional' with eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast and 'The Tri-fecta' with eggs, pancakes and choice of meat. It also has entrees aimed at the healthier side such as multigrain pancakes, avocado toast and 'quinoa power bowls'. They also include the number of calories for each entree and side. After debating between one of the eggs benedict and the breakfast tacos, I chose the tacos (without avocado) because of the waitresses' recommendation. They come served with a side of black beans but I was able to sub them for potatoes. The tacos were absolutely delicious! I added some hot sauce to give it a kick and the flavor was great. I ate two and took one home as leftovers (another plus!). Overall, good food and fast service (we were in and out in less than an hour). Would definitely recommend First Watch to others looking for a go-to breakfast spot with healthier menu options. read more

I am a huge fan of First Watch! I have been to the Carmel location several times but this was my first visit to the Keystone location. Since I believe it's a newer location than the one in Carmel, the decor and setup seemed a bit more updated. They were very crowded with people waiting to be seated. I believe this location probably seats more, however, since there was a communal table near the front/checkout area I chose to sit there. I will say it took a while to be served. One of the hostesses stopped by after a bit and offered coffee and I asked if I could place my order with her. She mentioned the name of my server but said she could take my order. I chose the Bracado (bacon & avacado omelette). I always order it, it is so good! It is a generous serving but I ate every bit of it. The fruit was delicious as is their specialty wheat bread. I also really enjoy their coffee and always get a cup to go. I will go back again as it works out well if I'm planning to catch a movie at Landmark Keystone after. Note - parking is a bit difficult since there are several popular restaurants in the strip including Ruth's which is extremely popular. read more

Another tremendous breakfast at first watch I had the red medicine specialty juice. It was fantastic. I also had the regular eggs Benedict and we also had the cinnamon chip special pancake that's in for the holiday season. The food was so good no salt or pepper needed so that's a good sign of a good chef. Our server was absolutely perfection. I'm kicking myself because I forgot her name, but she was a tremendous waitress. She was attentive yet not too attentive and gave us great service And of course, the holiday atmosphere with families and everyone just being in a good mood really made the restaurant singing and pop plus it was a cold day with hot food. It was great. read more

Wonderful and delicious experience at first watch. Fantastic service and what I would say is a diverse yet simple breakfast menu. The menu has all the classics and then some items with a little twist. One of the sides that looks like it came with most meals was the breakfast potatoes. They were so good! If I were to order again I would ask for them to be well done so they would be a little crispier, but overall they were tasty. I got the elevated breakfast sandwich and it was so delicious and satisfying for breakfast. The bacon was so crispy! It came with avocado, lemon-y spring mix, an egg, and bacon. I think I would've preferred it on some heartier bread rather than a bun, but overall I really enjoyed it. I will certainly be back! read more

A gift card prompted a lunch visit during the week. My party of two was promptly seated. I decided on the 2 For You option... 1/2 salad, 1/2 sandwich or soup. I chose the Monterey Club sandwich and Cobb Salad. My mom got the Ham and Gruyere Melt with the Superfood Kale. I asked for the Million Dollar Bacon as a starter. The food came quickly, but the sandwiches and salad came before the bacon. No biggie. When the bacon was brought out, the server asked if we needed anything else. My mother asked for more napkins. We never got them. Our waitress was friendly and started off attentive, but after we got all our meals, we were on our own. I never received a drink refill midway into our meal, even after it was acknowledged by the waitress that I needed one. Our meals were good and perfect portion for lunch. 3.5 stars for this visit. 4 stars for food. 3 stars for service. read more

First Watch is a wonderful brunch place that I have visited from time to time. I decided to order the power wrap and fresh fruit through Uber eats one day, along with the kale tonic. The kale tonic was refreshing and delightful! The power wrap was excellent and tasted delicious!! The fresh fruit was definitely fresh and tasted like pure heaven. I have been to a First Watch before and the service has been excellent and very professional. The ambiance has been very nice and inviting to the customer. They have a variety of options and everything I have seen on the menu looks terrific and is very fresh. First Watch is a great place to grab a nice breakfast with friends or family. I do not think First Watch gets enough credit that it deserves because it is a wonderful place and the food is amazing. I would recommend anyone to come here for breakfast or brunch. I love this place! I always get the million dollar bacon. It is a must must must! The service is great every time I have gone as well. There normally is a wait but you can check in online and it makes it go faster. I normally get the gigantic chocolate chip pancake that they have but the waffle is great too. Like I mentioned already you gotta get the bacon! They also have smoothies and stuff I believe. I normally just drink oj. Order ahead wasn't available at the time, so I went inside to do a take out order. Getting my order taken didn't take long but the time I had to wait for my order was just ridiculous. The atmosphere right off the back is welcoming with an industrial farm-like feel in the middle of the city! The service was spectacular! Our waiter Ishamale was knowledgeable, polite, and attentive! A large carafe of hot coffee was quickly brought while my sleepy self was able to look at the menu! My little and I both had the whole grain pancake! For being whole grain it was exactly how a fluffy pancake should be on the inside, but also with the nice griddle crust! The taste was perfect! For some reason the eggs looked super bright and fresh, they were also light and airy almost like a cloud! The bacon was two large pieces, as well as nice and crispy! The turkey sausage wasn't as warm as I would have liked but it was tasty! I would and will definitely return plus recommend to all my friends! read more

Had a great time catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a while over brunch at our favorite spot! Our party ended up being seven people, and we sat at the community table and had David as our server. David was great as usual, and the food was great! My friend one 's husband had never been there before and we recommended the Chickichanga dish to him and he loved it! Today, I tried the million dollar bacon which I had not had in a while and it was very tasty. It is one of their Popular dishes but unfortunately I forgot to snap a picture of it. I also had one of their seasonal recipes the Strawberry tres leches French toast, which was delicious. My husband shared that along with the Morning market veggie omelette that he usually gets. The French toast did not come with any sides. So we split the French toast and omelette to make a meal and he also added a side of grits. I enjoy sitting at the community table sometimes because You can walk right in and sit there if there are seats available and it's nice meeting new people. This restaurant is always pretty busy, but the atmosphere is great and all of the staff are very friendly. read more

I'm really surprised to be writing a 3-star review. Though I don't frequent chains, we have always enjoyed First Watch. Today, not as much. Their seasonal menu sounded great but there wasn't much there for someone GF. I opted for the salmon Benedict. I know, I know. English muffins are hardly GF. But they are supposed to be sourdough and therefore a bit easier to digest, and I decided to make an exception for the salmon. I like to order things I cant/won't make at home, and a good Hollandaise fits in that category. My son ordered the Chickichanga, always a pleaser. We also ordered juices, with the seasonal selection Red Medicine being my choice. Pomegranate and cranberry juices, black tea, local honey and cinnamon. So good I sucked mine down before the food came and opted for a second. Food was brought to the table and right away I noticed the steaming cup of grits and the super wiggly Benedict. Soon the hollandaise was separating and falling off to reveal clear or barely opaque egg underneath. Yikes. I ate it anyway to find that my food was cold, like colder than the ambient air temp cold. My son's food was hot and my grits piping hot. It seems my entree was made too early and didn't receive even the benefit of a heat lamp while it waited for the rest of our order. I never send food back, but I should have in this case. I know poached eggs, and those snotty things were not even close to poached. Even the yolk was cold to the point of seeming almost refrigerated. Blowing my GF diet and spending $50 before tip for two would have been fine if enjoyable. But it wasn't. read more

Things are tough for restaurants during covid but websites need to be updated to reflect what is served at specific locations. The hostess told us it would be 20 minute wait as we watched a table stay empty for 15 minutes. We waited about 30 minutes to find out a few things we wanted, drinks, weren't available. Went here to fuel up before a shopping adventure at the Fashion Mall and despite it being very busy on a Saturday A.M., we snagged the last patio table on a breezy summer morning. I ventured from my usual selections and got the new summer drink, the hibiscus limeade - super refreshing and visually beautiful.
