The gut and remodel job of transitioning this building from a Famous Dave's to First Watch is fantastic. It's open and bright and airy - a total turnaround from the sectioned-off, 80's-90's decor, dark dining room trend. The food here was pretty good. I really enjoyed the chile chorizo omelette. The eggs could have been cooked a little more slowly to prevent browning, but overall, the flavor combination of the fillings made it enjoyable. Their coffee concept of leaving the entire pot on the table is a nice touch so that patrons do not have to wait around for their server to give them a top-off or warmup. Service was friendly, but not overly attentive. The servers and food runners all seemed very busy, leaving me to wonder if they are shorthanded on staff here. read more

My first visit to a First Watch and I plan on returning. I got the biscuits & turkey sausage gravy with eggs and seasoned potatoes. I was caught off guard by the spiciness of the gravy but it was delicious and I finished it all. The staff was very friendly and attentive. read more

Everything one would expect in a restaurant was met or exceeded by our order. Our server was charming and efficient as well! However, the reason I would like to praise the First Watch Team at Greenwood, Indiana is their extraordinary kindness and caring. Just as we arrived in the First Watch parking lot, our car broke down and could not be restarted!! The server was so sweet to help us navigate ordering at the same time that we were speaking with AAA for towing assistance. After finishing our meal, it was evident that we were not going to get quick help from AAA, so we had to keep revisiting First Watch for the facilities, to buy a drink, etc. Every time, the staff inquired about how we were doing, offered us water, etc. When a tow truck finally arrived, our car ride had not yet arrived so we moved around to the porch of First Watch to seek shelter from the sun. We thought we would not be troubling the staff because they were officially closed. A young lady came out to clear away coffee urns and a few stray dishes, and even though the restaurant was closed, she asked so sweetly, "Do you need any drinks? Can I get you anything?" We are out-of-towners. If that were not the circumstance, the First Watch Team would get so tired of our family visiting because we would love to have such wonderful food, service, and surroundings, but most of all, we would love to visit a venue where everyone is so caring and considerate. THANK YOU First Watch!! read more

I have a million nice things to say about this place so let's see if I can fit them all here. To start with, the staff (servers, runners, manager, even those bussing the tables) were all such lovely people. We had questions about their specials and they were happy to explain everything we needed to know and the manager even sat down with us to share his favorites and show off their reservation system online. Such nice, attentive people! They sold us on a few of their specials including the lemon ricotta pancakes (both sweet and tart and super fluffy), the iced honey crunch latte (a ton of honey taste and the best whipped cream I've ever tasted), and the millionaire bacon (slightly sweet melt in your mouth bacon). The pea flower drink, the Purple Haze (?), was really good too! And very pretty with the addition of the pea flower. I also had the egg sandwich with avocado and it was so yummy. Very fluffy bun, really creamy avocado, and a hint of lemon. Really good balance. We were recommended the breakfast tacos & the chimichanga menu item and will try those along with the biscuits & gravy next time. The place has only just opened but is already running quite smoothly (props to the staff for that). It's a really nice space with wood floors and a very open floor plan so you can see around the restaurant. You can actually see a little bit into the kitchen too! Very modern look. We actually sat at the bar to eat and it was a nice little setup! Sorry about the half eaten pictures. We were too excited to dig in. Lol But really do highly recommend this place! Check in online or you're in for a long wait. The food is that good. read more

I have been tempted to come and try this place out and I finally found the chance. It was a busy morning but food came quickly. They have plenty of seating and a "bar" for lone guests. The biscuits and gravy were very awesome it was turkey sausage. The eggs were cooked well and not runny. The Potato's were well seasoned. One thing I found odd, maybe because I was at the "bar", was that they printed the receipt right after they took my order. On the receipt it had a QR code so that I could pay instantly. Don't get me wrong it's efficient and very modern but it also not something I'm accustomed to especially if you want to order more things later like refills on drinks you pay per the drink, like milk. read more

If you've been to Famous Dave's BBQ in Greenwood, this is what just replaced it. We had about a 40 minute wait so if you plan on going on a Saturday around 11:30 be prepared. Once we were seated our waitress was great. I got the farmhouse hash which was good but the next time I think I'd ask for hot sauce. I felt like it was missing just a little bit of something. I also got the Honey Carmel Crunch iced coffee. If you like super sweet coffees or almost like a dessert to drink that is for you. The restaurant had a farmhouse feel and everything came out in a timely manner. You can also use Apple Pay to pay at the end. O read more

Fresh ingredients, great taste and interesting combinations- Fresh Watch puts a new spin on breakfast and brunch, while keeping old favorites like bacon, pancakes and eggs. I had the BLTE on gluten free bread and it was delicious. The restaurant is not celiac safe, but has options for gluten sensitive people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. read more

The food is excellent delicious Great fast service. Good coffee This is a nice restaurant and I highly recommend it. You may have to wait a few minutes but it's worth the wait. Which is not long read more

I love this place so much. It's ALWAYS very busy though, so I highly recommend making a reservation online. The good thing is that the line moves pretty fast. Service is good. The one thing I will say is that they try to get you out of there pretty fast, so it feels a bit rushed. I've been 5-6 times over the last year, though, and love it. I always get the Chicken Pesto Quinoa Bowl and it's the best ever. They even have a lively bar area where you can sit as well as outdoor dining and lovely ambiance. read more

We had lunch here yesterday. The place was packed but operating smoothly with great team work. Saw a lot of smiles on the team. Every table seemed full but the noise level was acceptable and there was enough room around the tables. Food was perfect and we both ate every scrap. Clean, not a lot of salt or fat, and I love getting a salad instead of potatoes if wanted. We have eaten at all the Indy locations and the food was exactly the same. Note: Did not appear they had any of the specials for the season. Waiter, who came from another location said it was a simplified menu perhaps due to the crowds. No Millionaires Bacon or Baja Burger. First for us for a breakfast/lunch spot was the bar area to the left of the door. He was busy. read more

Waitress was nice but I didn't get my drink until I was almost finished with my meal. The food was underwhelming to say the least. This place kind of reminded me of a snooty meets farm. We won't be back even with the bogo card they gave us. Dennys was better. read more

Food was amazing, I was a little sad they didn't have alcohol yet I hear they are still getting a license for it. Their juices are really really good. It gets a little busy so much sure to make a reservation! read more

My first time here - there was a wait but if you are willing to sit outside or sit at the bar area it will cut your wait time. The parking is plentiful so that was a perk. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, seasoned potatoes and the million dollar bacon and was NOT disappointed!! So good....i can't wait to go back as there were many things I wanted to try! The prices are reasonable and worth what I paid. The service was very good and I would definitely suggest this to friends looking for a new brunch place!! We did sit outside and the area is heated. Planning on going back very soon....Have a great day!! read more

I've eaten at the downtown Indy location and was always impressed. The Greenwood location did not impress. I ordered Eggs Benedict and the eggs were way overcooked. No exaggeration, it was like eating a hard boiled egg. Very dry. The smoked salmon that came with it was incredibly fishy. I honestly don't think it was smoked, just cooked on a grill in the kitchen. read more

So I will preface this with I know this restaurant has only been open for nine days at the time of our visit so I think the "3 stars" was pretty generous. First, the ambiance is outstanding! They did a great job renovating the Famous Dave's BBQ in to a bright cheery dining room! Sadly, It goes down from there.... After waiting almost an hour (thats to be expected), once we were seated nobody bothered to check on us for 20 minutes. After finally getting a server to take our order it was another 10 minutes before we saw our drinks. Our server told us that their "beverage host" was pretty backed up but she said they wont be there fast? The menu was pretty average and so was the food, not bad but not worth the prices they were charging. The breakfast potatoes were undercooked and my omelette was luke warm at best. After we got our check paid for the refill host came around and got our drinks to ys, but we were ready to go. The best I can say is that it's "ok".... Id rather go to Antilogy or Taxman. read more

I'm visiting from Vegas and First Watch was highly recommended to me. The food was so fresh and delicious and atmosphere super cute. I would definitely return. She completely blew me away with her endearing way. read more

We had a delicious brunch at this spot. It was bustling and we walked in a little before the actual lunch rush. I tried the lemon ricotta pancakes and my husband got the chickichanga. My pancakes were a little bit light on ricotta, but well-loaded with delicious lemon curd. I should have asked for extra lemon curd! It's so delicious on their pancakes. I skipped syrup. The lemon curd plus fresh strawberries was so rich & delicious on the pancakes! My husband enjoyed his meal and shared a few bites of "changa" and tasty potatoes with me. I washed mine down with a cup of decaf Project Sunrise coffee. The server brought a small carafe so I could continuously refresh my mug. I am eager to try something new my next visit. Other menu items look great, with fresh, healthy options for your morning meal plus fresh juices, enticing salads and sandwiches. read more

Great brunch spot with lots of seating. Went here for Sunday brunch and got fresh squeezed juice, lemon ricotta pancakes and the belt eggs Benedict. All items were really good and for a reasonable price. Service was overall good and our server was nice. Would recommend and will be back! read more

While the food was decent and ambiance okay for what it is, when you get your meal with syrup stains from another meal on it, it is not very appetizing. Some food was right under the old syrup, yet all they did was replace the plate with a new one, but put the same exact food back on. It was my wife's birthday breakfast, so I did not want to make a stink. I simply at some of the food on the other side of the plate, and took the rest home to reheat. They were charging me anyway. Maybe they are getting too big, as I wrote to the company about the incident, but was completely ignored. read more

The inside of this place looks so nice and makes you feel very comfortable it was our first time having breakfast on this place and I wan to say the food was incredibly delicious and very tasty really felt in love with this place my only bad experience was the service and all I want to say is that waitress had serve drinks and food on time to the tables around us in less than 30 mins they got served before us. We had to wait over 45 just to get drinks and 25 more mins for our food to be served. Overall this place is absolutely a nice place to have breakfast brunch lunch around Greenwood.. read more

I was delighted when I saw First Watch was here as I had gone to the one in Florida and really enjoyed it. One of my favorites is there a grilled cheese and tomato soup. We had breakfast this morning about 8:45. The restaurant is light, airy and beautifully done, but the service was extremely slow. We weren't sure our server knew we were there. A person at another table had to get up and go look for someone to take his order. The hostess desk (for checking in, waiting and paying) so close to the front door is awkward with everyone piling up. There were no rugs coming into the lobby and the tile floor was wet and slippery from the rain. We won't be back any time soon because of slow service and/or staff shortages. read more

Worse service. Was told the wait was 20-30 minutes and waited 50 minutes due to people who did the online 'get in line' option, which didn't know was available until the gentleman who was in-front of us went to the hostess upset that he was still waiting while people who just came in got seated. She explained that to him but then sat him due to him waiting so long. It just seems like they need some sort of communication with the wait list options so people don't have to sit, wait, and get upset about the delay of others getting seated before them. Then the service after being sat was just the cherry on top. These are easy things to fix to make a restaurant successful and enjoyable to eat at. read more
