It seemed to be placed under a heat lamp until the meat was dried out, than slathed with brown gravy just before serving. The presentation was spectacular, but the menu clearly stated that this was baked in their kitchen. I took one spoonful and it was still partially frozen. I sent it back, and was told it would be put back in the oven, but it was back in two minutes, and the plate was piping hot. I asked if went back into the oven, and was told it was put into a microwave oven. It was at best luke warm, so I ate the ice cream and left the entire cobbler, less two small spoonfuls, on the table. I was offered a to go box, which I refused. I was there with my sons, who didn't want me to make a scene. Had I been there by myself, I would have had a long, difficult conversation with the manager. I may go back for breakfast (which is served all day), but not for lunch or dinner. I would have gotten the same level of food if I bought a Healthy Choice frozen dinner.

If yours tasted bland, maybe you missed that this place leans into fresh ingredients over drowning everything in sauces. Not every burger needs mayo or mustard; some let the beef and toppings speak for themselves. As for the soggy bottom bun yes, fresh veggies release moisture. That happens in seconds anywhere if you don't eat quickly. But calling the whole experience "meh" while admitting you're going back for breakfast? That tells me the place clearly has redeeming qualities. You even said burger preferences are subjective, yet your review reads like an objective takedown. Bottom line: If you want a greasy, sauce slathered chain burger, go to Five Guys. If you want a solid, no-frills non chain burger with good service and plenty of seating (as you noted), this place delivers. And clearly, you agree it's worth a second visit.

I am 100% in love with First Watch!! The Yelp App lead me to this incredible brunch spot and I've thoroughly enjoyed every meal I've had there. The first time I visited First Watch, I was dining solo. They told me I could skip the 30 minute wait if I agreed to dine at the Community Table. Why of course! I sat at a large table of about 8 random people and we all made slightly awkward small talk while enjoying our omelets. Strangely enough, it was a delightful time. Service has always been top-notch and extremely friendly. Food is always beyond delicious and the coffee is strong and your cup never goes empty. I have absolutely no complaints about First Watch and now I'm really craving a pancake. read more
