This location definitely isn't what it used to be. Prices have gone up while portions and pace of service have not. The décor is more modern instead of traditional. I miss the old newspaper clippings on the walls. Sports always being on the TVs doesn't appeal to me either. Is there a reason local news isn't an option? There was a puddle of butter on my toast this morning and far more vegetables than eggs in my Lean & Green Scramble (the vegetable amount was fine, but it merited another egg). I appreciate the ability to swap out mushrooms for tomatoes though. More substitutions should be allowed (i.e. fruit for potatoes), and where are the turkey bacon or chicken sausage alternatives? Ordered something that could survive a ride home. The Royal burger. I haven't had a burger in a while and thought I'd blow a cheat day on this. The burger was crunchy people. Patties blackened. Sooo disappointing because I didn't know until I got home. Someone packed a burger with grossly overcooked patties into a box and loaded the box into a bag without and sent it out the door. All Big Biscuits are not the same. The Westport store is amazing. Hope this one gets there. read more

We were sat by the kitchen doors, and the staff ran in and out at a crazy speed, but there was nothing but positivity coming out of their mouths. This morning we went to breakfast with our grandchildren. We were sat immediately as they were not busy. We sat for at least 5 minutes and no one came to check on us. We picked up and left. On our way out my husband let the hostess know that we had been sitting there and no one checked on us and we left. This was our go to place for so long. This place was awesome. Neither of us got a biscuit, but we will next time. We're from the St. Louis area and come through pretty often, so we will certainly be back. I had the French Toast platter which was really good, but the bacon was amazing. My wife had the Ranch Hand Bowl (pictured) with steak, eggs, potatoes, jalapeños, etc. She said it was awesome. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the coffee was pretty weak and my wife's Mocha Iced Coffee tasted more like a milkshake than anything.
