Great friendly service from the beginning entrance .. Great menu to choose from as I was craving some eggs over easy with some local flavor. The potatoes were super delicious it was sprinkled with some good herbs . Alongside the bacon and biscuit which were super yummy! Coffee was good also and the restaurant has a great relaxing vibe . My brother in law took me on a local tour of Liberty and discovered the place , which was full of clients . Thus , the next day decided to return to Ginger Sue's . Still one of my all time favorite breakfast spots. The one we used to frequent was off of 43rd. That particular place has been closed for a while now. We did find this location in downtown Liberty. A smaller dining room that tends to fill up quickly, but well worth the wait time. Still absolutely delicious, but very out of our way. If we even find ourselves close, we hoof it over there quickly. The Cobb Salad was a generous portion perfectly plated with all the traditional components of Cobb Salad. My only complaint, the grilled chicken was tough as nails and no flavor. First trip here. Definitely will go back. I had the Ginger Sue's Classic. Scrambled eggs bacon breakfast potatoes and biscuit. The seasoning on the bacon and breakfast potatoes was delicious. I don't normally like breakfast potatoes, but these were outstanding. I would go back just for the potatoes. The biscuit was flaky and came with an adequate amount of butter and a choice of jam. Blackberry was the choice today. Service was quick and attentive. Environment was quiet and my colleague and I were able to get to work on our project. Ginger Sue's is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is excellent with the baguette French toast and fried egg sandwich being standouts for me. The peppery bacon and seasoned breakfast potatoes (I always order them crispy!) are sides that should not be missed. At yesterday's visit, my daughter loved the biscuits & gravy with link sausage. The brewed coffee has a very slight earthiness that I don't love, but it is drinkable. I also ordered a cold brew to-go and it was very good. Ginger Sue's was expectedly busy at 9:20 on a Sunday morning, but we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The space is small but somehow roomy, and unpretentious. We have always enjoyed eating at Ginger Sue's in Liberty. Breakfast never disappoints! And in the past I've loved the huge Tenderloins. But the last one I had was paper thin and WAY over cooked. And they make their salsa ranch in house! I had a half order of biscuits and gravy to start and if that wasnt the best biscuit since my grandmother passed. i loved it. the sausage gravy didnt taste greasy or heavy. My husband had a starter salad and hamburger. they were very good. the fried are crisp outside and fluffy inside. A glass of orange juice is accompanied by a complimentary glass of water also. table, half booth and bar seating available. tables and space to host small but good size groups for meals. service was quick and food was amazing. we will 100% be returning to this spectacular find. Really cute small "diner/ restaurant " food was REALLY good, they offer abnormal menu items which I like sometimes to get away from the usual bacon and eggs. Prices are a little more than expected but still good value. Staff are very friendly and were attentive to everything. Definitely recommend for bfast but expect a wait on Sat & Sunday. I kept seeing recommendations for this place on Facebook, so decided to finally try it. We went mid-Saturday morning with a group of 7, three were kids. I arrived about 10 minutes before the rest of my group and only had to wait about 3 minutes to be seated. Not to mention I got a parking spot lot right in front of the restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Denver omelette and my kids ordered pancakes, plain and chocolate chip. Food probably took around 15 minutes or so, not bad at all. I enjoyed my omelette and seasoned potatoes. The meal was very filling. The kiddos pancakes were big and fluffy! Looked great! Sorry, forgot to take photos. An old favorite for breakfast, I had not visited in a few years. We went for lunch. Covid protocol followed- masked and tables distanced. The food was as good as I remembered. The salmon on my salad was seasoned and seared perfectly. I enjoyed the small cut of the vegetables in the salad, making it easy to eat. The quiche was outstanding as always. Fluffy and flavorful. Love this place! Food was solid both times we went for lunch. Ordered the quiche with onion and bacon-nice and fluffy and delicious. Also had the corn chowder and that was good as well. Next day had the honey mustard chicken sandwich with a salad and that was really enjoyable. Service was good the first day (server was very pleasant) and the 2nd day there was only 1 server-so she was spread thin, but was also very pleasant. Overall, really enjoyed my meals there. This is a nice little country diner. The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was fine and the prices were great. I could have used a few more options. The menu doesn't show any sides (bacon, toast, etc) but they have them for sale. They have biscuits and turkey sausage gravy so I ordered the turkey sausage gravy with the waffle instead. They still made the waffle like it was a regular order with powered sugar on top. I think I confused the kitchen. Oh well. It was all tasty except that the turkey sausage gravy didn't have any sausage. It was more like sausage flavor. I'm not sure if they just scooped from the top of the pot but I wasn't thrilled about the missing meat. Would I go back? I don't know.
