Always the sweetest wait staff. The food is tasty. The pancakes are HUGE & about an inch thick, with several flavors to choose from!

First trip here. Definitely will go back. I had the Ginger Sue's Classic. Scrambled eggs bacon breakfast potatoes and biscuit. The seasoning on the bacon and breakfast potatoes was delicious. I don't normally like breakfast potatoes, but these were outstanding. I would go back just for the potatoes. The biscuit was flaky and came with an adequate amount of butter and a choice of jam. Blackberry was the choice today. Service was quick and attentive. Environment was quiet and my colleague and I were able to get to work on our project. Will be recommending this place and will try out other locations.

Love this place! Small and unassuming but fabulous. Loved the crab eggs Benedict. I wish the potatoes were crispy but it was great! Bacon had a little rosemary so I wouldn't order it again but that is a personal preference. Love the small town atmosphere. Service was great.

Gingers Classic with a fruit cup in place of breakfast potatoes

My breakfast was delicious. The bacon was really good. The biscuit could have been baked longer. It was pale and crumbled when trying to cut it open to butter it. We had excellent, fast service. The place looks small from the outside but it was much bigger inside than expected. Cloth napkins were a nice touch. I will definitely be back when in the area.

French toast with berry compote and a little jar of real maple syrup. (100% maple syrup is an upcharge of $1.95). Also, delicious bacon.

Ginger Sue's is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The food is excellent with the baguette French toast and fried egg sandwich being standouts for me. The peppery bacon and seasoned breakfast potatoes (I always order them crispy!) are sides that should not be missed. At yesterday's visit, my daughter loved the biscuits & gravy with link sausage. The brewed coffee has a very slight earthiness that I don't love, but it is drinkable. I also ordered a cold brew to-go and it was very good. Ginger Sue's was expectedly busy at 9:20 on a Sunday morning, but we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The space is small but somehow roomy, and unpretentious. Service was friendly and efficient. This breakfast hit all the right notes.

Service, food, atmosphere..this place is a cute stop through town. within walking distance of William Jewel college. Breakfast and brunch foods. The Taco salad is absolutely worth the money. And they make their salsa ranch in house! I had a half order of biscuits and gravy to start and if that wasnt the best biscuit since my grandmother passed. i loved it. the sausage gravy didnt taste greasy or heavy. My husband had a starter salad and hamburger. they were very good. the fried are crisp outside and fluffy inside. A glass of orange juice is accompanied by a complimentary glass of water also. table, half booth and bar seating available. tables and space to host small but good size groups for meals. service was quick and food was amazing. we will 100% be returning to this spectacular find. Top reviews all around for the waitstaff. our server gal was attentive and above generous with her care of our meal and experience. good service is so under appreciated today but please note i do so notice and admire the dedication. we were greeted when we arrived and thanked at our departure. one male/female bathroom available and handicap accessible.

    Sandwich and soup.

Had brunch today to catch up with a friend. Everything tasted good, was checked on often, coffee was fresh, and topped off as needed.

Best pancake I've ever had. Went on a weekend morning and had quite a few people but the wait was very reasonable.

Adored this dining experience! Upon entering we were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess and…read morewere shown to our table. I noticed they adhere to some old school standards you wouldn't expect at a restaurant of this type. Our hostess sat us and said, "Your server, Meghan will be right with you." Love that! Back in the dark ages this is how I was trained at my first restaurant job. Let your customer know the name of their server, attention to detail...Love it! Meghan came out almost immediately even though they were quite busy. She brought the cute mini carafe of coffee with two mugs. Asked if we'd like coffee and after placing our mugs ASKED if she could fill them. Overall a level of service you'd expect from a fine dining establishment. If Meghan lived in my state I'd be trying to lure her to work for me! She was so friendly and knowledgeable, and provided outstanding service and suggestions! At her suggestion we tried the strawberry shortcake bonut. A fresh biscuit fried, dusted with sugar and topped with strawberries and whipped cream. I'm going to be thinking about that bonut for a long long time! Life changing experience! Sometimes someone creates something that makes the world a better place! Chefs ! Perfection. I'd describe the flavor as a summer day at the fair. GOOD COFFEE! After finishing our bonut, our meals arrived quite quickly. I ordered the country fried steak with scrambled eggs and potatoes. I stuffed myself like a little piggy! I am not someone who does that. It was so crispy, hot and still moist inside. Crispy potatoes done to perfection! Fluffy scrambled eggs. Tasty country gravy. My husband order the eggs Benedict. While very well done, he's a purist and wasn't crazy about the hollandaise sauce. I loved it , but I never order Benedict. It has a very strong lemon note which I enjoyed but he did not. He didn't hate it, but I might include a note on the menu about the flavor. ‍ just a humble suggestion My son ordered the Dark side pancakes, served with scrambled eggs, sausage patties and the potatoes. Stand out here was the sausage patties. Clearly hand pattied, perfectly crisp on the outside without being dried out. Meghan was very attentive without being intrusive. Something I very much appreciate in a server. Some little things I noticed while dining: Clearly attention to detail is a standard in this restaurant: Meghan always asked if she could take our plates When leaving the kitchen I noticed a server wiping his feet on the rug =cleaner floors My son ordered a specialty soda and when offering a refill her phrasing was, "Charge you for another orange dream-sickle?" $$ Nice! When we were finished and had already paid the bill Meghan asked if we'd like coffee to go. And brought us out two nice sized to go's of coffee. We were traveling back home to Indiana and that saved us a trip through a coffee chain! Again I left feeling loved and full! Hats off to this establishment! Attention to detail and outstanding, high quality service along with delightful food. Great Job!! Do yourself a favor, at least go try the strawberry bonut. We weren't planning on coming back to Kansas City until the fall, but I don't know if I can make it that long without the taste of a perfect day at a summer fair.

She was super friendly and sweet. She was a huge KC Chiefs dan and I admire her for her motivation because the Chiefs were playing tonight. Everything looked so organized and the menus were placed and ready for me to browse. Ordered the full biscuits and gravy thinking it would be like everywhere else but I WAS TOTALLY WRONG!! I'm a huge foodie but this order was HUGE!! It was awesome!! I also got the loaded and ladled potatoes and that was a treat. The biscuits were huge but baked perfectly and the sausage gravy...I could have taken a straw to it!!! For the potatoes...I ate them the way they were served and I thought it would have been insulting if I would have put ketchup on them so I didn't want to look like I was not from around the area, so I didn't... Overall, it was an amazing experience and thanks to the staff...I will make sure to bring my Soldiers and Associates here for a super filling breakfast.

They were super busy with only 2 people working and the service was outstanding. A 3rd person started working not long after I got there and all 3 were super friendly and full of smiles. I was so impressed. They stand out from other coffee shops for so many reasons. I love the Christian ministries they support. They have prayer wall for prayer requests. They have a little used book donation library that you can donate to or buy from. They have tons of kids games and puzzles and even a few adult games and puzzles for groups. Another thing that stood out for me was their food offerings. CREPES! So many delicious choices of crepes it was hard to choose. I ended up going with the bacon egg and cheese. It was the most keto friendly although I'm certain they use flour. I totally forgot crepes weren't keto because I make them at home without flour. The crepes were delicious. I got a shatto chocolate milk and a peach pop tart for my daughter. I was hoping she'd want the banana Nutella crepes so I could try them lol. They have a keto coffee that is wonderful. I'm a little disappointed that their website says they offer a stevia chocolate syrup but they don't actually have that choice in the shop. They did have stevia packets though to add to my keto coffee.
