A family diner where the employees playfully (sometimes) bickering with each other passes for meal entertainment. The menu is typical comfort foods, including any time breakfast. Our server was on top of it, returning multiple times to refill drinks and make sure we had what we needed. The food was cold. But that wasn't the worst part about it. When we got in there was a wait which is fine, Sunday after church. I was trying to find a place to stand out of the way of the waitresses moving in and out. Instead of just saying "excuse me" like a normal human being "get out of my way" is being yelled at me. I then said "please don't yell at me" someone at the counter said "one more attitude remark and you'll be kicked out" I was not the only person this was said to. Every time we go on Sundays there always seems to be a problem with the attitude of the servers. Probably won't go back any time soon. read more

I was here a few weekend ago. I should mention on this particular day we had a group of seven people, they looked busy for 9am waitresses were rushing around. The three adults of the group, ordered biscuits and gravy, one person in-particular tried their food as soon as the waitress sat it on the food down. When I tried mine, I was asked by the other person, if my food was cold. It was in fact all of the biscuits and gravy meals were cold. We sent them back, and when they came back they weren't that much better. I would love to say they were having an off day, however I can't because the visit was the first in a long time. read more

The atmosphere is a bit rustic/old timey, but the food isn't bad. There are two entrances, both at the front and side, which can be confusing. I had the tenderloin, of which there are four, depending on what size and sides you choose. Very tasty. And the waitress was very nice. But on previous visits I had sides which I'm sure came right out of a can. The prices aren't bad, either. Not dirt cheap, but not as expensive as most local sit-down restaurants. read more

Service is good and served with a smile. Food is usually good - what you would expect for a diner. They do offer breakfast all the time and you can't go wrong with an omelet. It's not exact ally a place that has ambiance. It's just a typical old time diner that has had an update for quite awhile. Their burgers taste good and the giant tenderloin is the best tasting meat I've ever had, just lightly breaded. It's a place you can go and relax and have some "home cooked" style food. read more

Ordered crispy hash browns with my breakfast but they were drowning in grease and nowhere near crispy... waitress said that's how all the hash browns are.... she said it would take 15-20 minutes if I wanted to send them back, I eat breakfast twice a week and order crispy hash browns and their crispy..so they charged me $3.28 for half a cup of coffee and I went to McDonald's. Tried this little cafe( at least it was probably little at one time). I had a giant tenderloin ( actual name, they also have a regular one. I ordered that along with a box. It would have fed a small family, but it was very tasty! The wait staff there is very quick and very nice. Many regulars came in and they knew what they normally ordered. While waffle house won't seat you until 7am, folks down here will gladly assist you as soon as they open their doors. Portions are much larger than expected, so order accordingly! Food tasted great and my server refilled my drinks every few minutes. It's a bummer that I'm flying back home today, otherwise I'd stop again for another great meal. read more

I went in around 7am, 9/12 I had been advise that they had good breakfast. However when I went in there I wasn't greeted. But the ppl behind us wh where. I stood there waiting and a young lady with short brown hair who was the waitress passed me and attended to EVERYONE else except for the brown ppl which was me and my daughter after 20mins of waiting on her to acknowledge me I looked at her in her face and she continued ignoring us.... I only stayed for her to try an correct the rudness but she was blatantly racist. My daughter was shocked about this behavior because she was just saying she never felt with racism. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO COME HERE. it was even clean and the cook had no cloves on. What a waste read more

This place has the feel of a local diner and a regular spot for the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone tried a burger and I'd have to say the consensus was that they were excellent. The portion size was good and everything tasted fresh. The French fries were extra, but everyone seemed to think they were worth it. Overall, we thought the prices were reasonable and the food was wonderful! We also thought that most of the dishes we were seeing on other tables looked good, which always makes you want to come back for more! read more

I only gave 3 stars because the last time I was there, I was disappointed. I have previously been very satisfied in the past but I noticed changes in the kitchen have had negative effect. The last time I was there, I ordered an omelet and the vegetables in the omelet were raw. That is a rookie cook mistake. Additionally, American Cheese was used in the omelet, when I asked the waitress she informed me that unless I specify, they use American cheese. That shows me, little pride in your product, using the cheapest cheese product in the omelet. read more
