Jacomos is the perfect place to stop in for some good food on the way to the lake. We usually split a double jacomo burger and tots- it's plenty for two people. The food is great, family friendly (and cute) atmosphere. Service is always pretty quick

    Well done fries , perfection

Walking thru the parking lot great 70's music playing , loved the vibe instantly . Inside a very relaxing atmosphere I felt like I was in a different place in time . Service was very friendly and helped me decide what to get . Ordered a Philly steak n fries , sooooo yummy , meat melts in your mouth , bread very soft , . Will go back n try other items for sure . I'm now a regular , you got me forever as a customer .

Jacomo's is an absolute must-stop! We decided to try it after passing by, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the double smash burger and the pork tenderloin--both were incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The prices are reasonable, with very friendly service. They even have a cute little gift shop section to browse through, which was such a fun touch. We will definitely be back!

    Patty Melt. Great sandwich.

I really like this place. The food is great, the price is right, and the seating area upstairs is nice. Service is at the counter and you pick up your food at the kitchen window. I stop here every time I'm in the area.

All of their food has been excellent. The Butterfinger pie seemed to change. Not quite as good, didn't help that it went up to $10 a slice. Other than that, the rest of the food is really good. A little pricey, but worth it.

Stopped by and enjoyed lunch here for valentines day! Phenomenal atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door! The guest service gave a homey feel , and to top it off our food came out exceptionally fast! A bit on the pricy side but the portions equal out.

The restaurant itself is super cute, fun, and has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the ice cream wasn't for me. It was overloaded with toppings to the point that I could barely taste the ice cream itself. I love a good balance between the ice cream and the mix-ins, and this just felt like there was way too much going on. The toppings completely overpowered the flavor of the ice cream. We decided to give Johnny Ray's another shot and came back to try the food. Sadly, I wasn't impressed. For the price, I honestly felt like I could have made a better meal at home. Nothing stood out, and it just wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I really wanted to like this place because it's such a fun, inviting spot, but after giving it two separate chances, we've decided we won't be returning for either the food or the desserts. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in giving an honest account of my experience.

I'm left wondering... were we in…read morea parallel universe or something‽‽‽ We stopped in after an appointment I'd had on a Monday in Lees Summit. We decided to have a quick early dinner here in town, and did a Yelp search for "great places to eat near me". This place was high in the list. We read the reviews and found ourselves driving around a building that had ZERO markings for the Burn Theory Fire Kitchen on it, but our Maps app said we were here. Turned out, the food for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen was cooked in a food truck in a parking lot and served inside the Diametric Brewing Company which is located at the address listed for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen. I will say, my husband ordered a special beer called "Cherry Street Wheat" and it was very unusual, and seriously tasty!!! I'm not a beer fan, but would drink one of these any day! So, getting back to the food... we'd both ordered a trio of street tacos that we did a mix and match of with their various proteins. We ordered this way to share with each other. We also love to discover new and unusual bites. After reading the reviews and their menu, we were excited for the promise of something uniquely delicious... and were completely disappointed!!! All but one (excluding the shrimp) of the six different tacos we'd ordered, bordered on the inedible side. The proteins were seemingly overcooked, folded into little leathery tortilla shells, and served to our table cold, dry and tough. They tasted as if they had been reheated from the weekends leftovers. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Perhaps if we'd visited on a weekend, or on the same day they were actually cooking the meats initially, we'd had a better experience. I don't know, and frankly do not plan to find out. Additionally, to be fair, their condiments (ie: the Ketchup and BBQ sauce) seemed to be made fresh and made from scratch. They were sadly the best part of our meal. Honorable mention to the Diametric Brewing Company which served us one of the most delicious and unique beers we've ever tasted!

They bring it straight to you when it's done. The guy who brought ours was super nice. He asked if we needed any utensils or sauce. I was just having a beer and then was taking my grub to go so he brought me a bag to carry everything easily. I ordered the Burn Theory Cubano: House smoked ham and pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese, pickles and house made mustard on toasted brioche. This sandwich was huge! It's very shareable if you're ordering sides. The meat was super smoky and I loved the flavor. It's definitely a top 5 Cuban in KC. We ordered several sides: seasoned fries, smoked Mac and cheese, and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was good sized and easily shareable as a starter. I liked the house made dressing. If you wanted to have this as an entree, you have the option to add brisket, chicken, or shrimp. I will definitely consider it in the future. The seasoned fries were pretty standard. My boyfriend liked the seasoning and that they didn't put too much on them. My 3 doggos also enjoyed a few. The smoked Mac and cheese was probably my favorite side and I'll have a hard time getting a different one in the future. The Smokey flavor was perfect and not overwhelming. The pasta wasn't overcooked and the sauce was creamy. I end up at Strange Days pretty often and I feel like this is a perfect addition to the area. I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future while I enjoy a beer.

Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

He ordered a BBQ burger with extra crispy bacon, but it came with no sauce and no bacon at all. My burger was very dry, and the fries were overcooked. Either way, we dug in. They were cold in the middle, also a strange discovery to us. I ordered the burnt ends, which came to the table closer to cold than warm. The blue cheese potato salad was tasty and all it needed was a lil salt and pepper to make it perfect. All was going well, until my husband was about 4-5 bites into his brisket wrap. He asked me to smell it, and I did. It was funky! Smelled a lot like a foot and not a lot like a tortilla. He asked the server to smell it and they agreed it was a bit odd. The manager came over and denied it smelling like anything. My husband had finished his meal, and we weren't looking for a freebie but wanted to let them know it was a lil weird. Instead of acknowledging the potential issue, we were dismissed as "wrong." It just didn't sit right with me. My husband had some definite issues in the hour or two after eating, so we won't be back. I won't say it was food poisoning because genuinely it could have just not agreed with my husband. I'll put my disclaimer on here, I hope people do enjoy and continue to patronize this small business, it's just not to my liking.
