The food today was excellent! Fresh and hot, and the coffee is bottomless. A shout out to our server Felisha, excellent and efficient, friendly and fun. I got the Tri fecta, with a waffle, eggs over easy and bacon. The blueberry compote was just enough to sweeten the waffle. Mr. G. Got the Salmon Benedict. I've had this before, and he loved it. We shared an order of steel cut oatmeal. The restaurant is clean (no sticky tables), and it was warm. No drafts. There is a Community Table, booth, and table, seating. There is also a take out option. I would definitely go back, recommend, and bring people to First Watch. It is always a lovely experience and meal.

This may be the shortest review I've written to date. It was what I needed to kick off my birthday weekend. I loved the flavor of the chicken sausage. Because I'm not a beef or pork eater, I find myself hoping restaurants have alternatives for bacon. I was pleasantly surprised. My only critic of this visit is that my side of potatoes were a tad bit too salty, they weren't unbearable. I would definitely return again. Delightful breakfast, I must say.

I came in today with the wife for a quick meal. There was not a wait and we were seated right away. I opted for a new item on the menu Carnitas Breakfast burrito as well as the Cinnamon Chip Pancake. The Burrito was so good, a little lite on the carnitas but the flavor was amazing. I liked the avocado, black beans and potatoes in this mix with the tomatillo hollandaise. The staff was polite, attentive and on their job as usual(at this location) My wife ordered a skillet of some kind.(see the pic) I can say that you are sensitive to dairy this may not be for you as it has a few different kinds of cheese including Cotija cheese.

I did not know Independence has a First Watch. Went here for the first time, it a pretty decent size, always full and packed during brunch hours. Lucky, we had a reservation, which I will recommend to do the day of. We were seated right away when we told them we had reserve. Staff were friendly, food was spectacular, and atmosphere was inviting, clean and open. I would definitely go back here again.

Nice large booths. Good service. Staff wore masks. Clean and good atmosphere. I got the choose 2 lunch special: ham & gruyere sandwich and tomato basil soup and both were rich, properly cooked, and delicious.

Manna from heaven. The entree's appear to be photoshopped in person, due to the quality and freshness of the ingredients. All rave about First Watch is legit. *This is NOT a greasy spoon* Don't get it twisted I LOVE a good ole' greasy spoon, but this is most certainly not that kind of vibe. This is great menu options including juices named 'Watermelon Wake Up' that is sooo good. If I could wish upon a star for and be granted any selection from the menu it would be...THE MILLION DOLLAR BACON! Wowsers these strips of bacon are amazing! Enjoy my friends

The wait turned out to be worth it. I arrived just after they opened and stepped into a space that's eclectic, funky and a little random in the best way, complete with bookcases of games that gives the place its own personality. My cortado was the epitome of perfection, rich and balanced, and because it took a moment to prepare, I was handed a free chocolate chip cookie. That little surprise absolutely blew my ketosis but I didn't regret it for a second. I stayed for two hours, settling in and enjoying the atmosphere with their wifi before heading out to explore Independence. Coffee Elsewhere is one of those neat little spots that feels genuinely local, the kind of place that does coffee right and doesn't try to be anything other than itself. It was a great stop and exactly the kind of independent shop I look for when I'm on the road. [Review 822 of 2026 - 540 in Missouri - 26003 overall]

It used to be nestled inside the Colonial Gardens nursery and market off 7 hwy and Wyatt streets in Blue Springs, MO. The signage was sparse, so it was difficult to find... But most people did! And it was so worth the adventure. On our original visit we ordered the Belgian Waffle with fresh fruit. It was light and fluffy on the inside and golden crispy on the outside. The fruit was perfectly ripe and naturally sweet. We also shared a half order of biscuits and gravy. Obviously made from scratch. A warm fluffy and moist biscuit under a generous serving of rich and creamy sausage forward gravy. I couldn't stop eating it I ordered their ham and cheese florentine frittata, which was filled with yummy ingredients and had a creamy custard layer on the top. It was absolutely mouthwatering! They're generous in their portion sizes there. The ambiance was pleasant and cozy. With lots of windows that afforded the best views of the arboretum. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We continued to frequent this place, even after they relocated onto Main Street at the square. They are able to accommodate more guests than before, and offer more dishes and pastries. They put out a heck of a breakfast! You really must try their hospitality. Always friendly, always kind. The actual address for their current location is now 1101 W Main St, (Suite A) Blue Springs, MO 64015. If interested, they are open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. I arrived at New Town at Harmony subdivision - a new planned community that I immediately fell in love with. Alchemy House shares a small building with the management company for the property and has limited seating inside but a nice courtyard where you could sit and watch the residents in their golf carts heading to the fitness center, postal building or walking their dogs to the nearby canal, lake or Blue Creek trails.
