Local coffee shop with clean vibe and great coffee. Tried the seasonal Maple Spice Latte and it was amazing little sweet treat! Perfect for the afternoon. Friendly service. Will definitely be coming back.

Post Coffee has been on my list and is now permitting on my list. I purchased a latte with whole milk and their roasted coffee was delicious plus a blueberry muffin. The decor is simple, black and white, house plants ( just a few for color) a little bit of a warehouse feel and the music was singer/songwriter at the right volume so you could talk. The menu is on the counter which I didn't see because the pastries were visible and looking delicious but over heard someone say they have a great burrito and protein balls. The service was friendly and quick.

This order from Post Coffee Co was my first time ordering through Too Good to Go and what a haul. I received a cherry-filled donut/pastry, a regular donut, and drip coffee with cream. My husband isn't a donut person, and we agreed that these were both delicious. Honestly, I love that you all do the Too Good to Go program, and it lets people try things they may not have before. I normally would have never ordered a pastry, but after trying these, I absolutely would. The drip coffee was delicious, and I wasn't sure what to expect, as I normally get lattes when I visit. The service was fast and easy, especially since I had never used the app before. Overall, it was a great experience, per usual!

I would have given Post a 3 star review, however we have repeatedly ordered a cold brew and have never gotten a good one. Everything else is decent enough. We love to try new coffee shops, however sometimes we stay close to home and that's what this place is to us. It has "hipster" coffee vibes and location, however the coffee is in general so-so. Occasionally there is a seasonal latter that the wife loves, but in general I pick a cortado, the daughter gets something sweet (most of the lattes), the wife picks a seasonal (hit or miss), and the boy usually wants a cold brew. Today he took 1 sip and he went back to the counter to buy something else. No big scene necessary, just purchased something else. In the past I have gotten the cold brew as well, however have not enjoyed it either. Now....for something above average.....the breakfast burrito if you can imagine it. So if that's your draw to a coffee shop, then you do need to try this place out, just for that. You will need to wait 10 min or so for it, but it is good.

I love the Post Coffee Company! They roast their own beans and their syrups are housemade which is ALWAYS a win in my book! They have seating indoors and outdoors. The baristas are always helpful and friendly. Anytime I'm in the area, this is a place I love to go!

It's been a while since I have been here. The coffee is still good, and their house coffee remains at a comparable price to other coffee shops. The food, however, is drastically pricey. The cheapest stale donut that I happened to have today was over three dollars with tax. The sausage burrito was over $9 and not very big. I had it before, maybe about year or so ago when it was about $6--a much more reasonable price for it. The place is still well staffed during high traffic times, which appear to be early, especially on a Sunday. However, depending on the barristas, who play their music of choice from their iPhone playlist, that can be very loud, almost like club music loud. The base was a bit much today at times. I remember this place when it opened, and the proprietor has done well for himself and has expanded to other locations, but it does seem that when a place expands into a chain, it loses modest appeal.

I ordered the cinnamon and apricot oatmeal. I loved that they offered water or milk and I opted for milk. The ratio of milk to oatmeal was a bit off and therefore, running. The milk wasn't hot enough to fully cook the oatmeal but the flavor was good. I also ordered a hot, plain latte. The only milk options were whole or oat. I wish there were more milk options, but the latte was delish.

Really love this place! The service is great especially for a first timer and I love that they have specials ever so often. Love the coffee and their breakfast items and the place is great for doing work cause they have a lot of tables near outlets. Great spot!

Post Coffee Co is an adorable coffee shop that offers tasty brews and the best protein balls I have ever tasted! They serve hot coffee beverages, cold brews, and teas. They even offer a selection of food options such as donuts, pastries, scones, cookies, breakfast burritos and lunch wraps. I highly recommend ordering their chocolate chip protein balls! Plenty of seating inside as well as a patio section. The coffee shop is incredibly clean and the staff is very friendly. This is a perfect place to get some work done on your phone or laptop!

Post has been a local favorite of mine since they opened - I live out of MO now, so it's a treat I always make sure to give myself whenever I'm in town for family. The smell of the fresh roasting beans, the often mellow but jamming music, and open seating atmosphere make it a comfortable and welcoming place to chill, work, or make a quick stop. Cannot recommend everything enough. These is not a single bad thing I've had. I always buy the whole bean Ethiopia - the blueberry notes shine so well when brewed.

Whistle Stop Coffee Shop is a fantastic coffee shop on Main Street in Lee's Summit…read more I met a friend there this morning for coffee, but I was able to order a French Vanilla pour over. The beans were ground fresh for me. I love French Vanilla coffee, but it's not my wife's favorite. So it was nice to be able to get a cup and enjoy it. I also ordered biscuits and gravy and a glass of milk, which were very tasty. I brought my wife home a cinnamon roll which she enjoyed. She said it was good. The front of the house is pretty bustling and lively. At the back of the restaurant, there's a quieter room and outdoor dining on the patio. I will definitely be returning to this location. Special shout out to the staff, who were magnificent.

It's a pretty downtown location. The decor is cozy and nicely decked out for Christmas. - chairs. They spent a little extra on padded leather to save our butts. - service. They're quick and polite. - cleanliness. Now for the less good: - layout. Everything feels tight. It's prettier than it is practical. - drink quality. My daughter found her spiced chai (pictured) overly sweet. And if you look at the pic, you'll notice that they gave her basically 2/3 of a cup. That pic was taken before she took a single sip (yes, I know the straw I used to show the amount looks used; I did use it to search for a tea bag in my tea fog. See below!). My cinnamon/butterscotch tea fog was, to put it politely, unimpressive. I left it steeping at least 15 minutes because it was way too hot to drink. And then I had to get a straw to search for tea bags, because it tasted like hot foamy water and I was convinced they'd forgotten to put the tea bags in. Well, they hadn't. There was one tea bag. My standard of comparison is Gusto over by Longview, which makes the best tea fogs in town. They use two tea bags and it tastes like heaven. Whatever they served me at Whistle Stop tasted like perfumed water. So overall, I give it a 3/5. Points for location and decor and nice chairs. But the main attraction should be the drinks, and they were both kinda terrible. And there's just no excuse for serving someone 2/3 of a cup when we're paying $6 for a small drink.

It's been three consecutive times that I've came and the brew has been on the disappointing week side. If I got something else like a chai, it's been a little on the lackluster side too. They used to have some awesome baristas, and I haven't seen this one barista who made sure things ran smoothly. Yesterday, I noticed customer service really lacking. When I arrived at 11:30 AM the three baristas were all up front and had been attentive, but around 1 PM they had all drifted in back and none would pop their head out to see if anyone had come to the counter. I had stood at the counter for five minutes or so, and had thought I had made eye contact with one girl, but apparently she must have not seen me. I even said "hello" out loud, but nothing. A minute or two later a lady came in and was waiting behind me, and after a minute or two she asked if I had been waiting long. I told her the truth, and eventually a barista came out and asked me if I had been waiting long? I explained that I had, and had tried to catch someone's attention. I ordered an iced matcha and the lady behind me ordered some other drink. Guess who's came out first? I waited a few more minutes and noticed the another barista (a guy) had just started making an iced match, which apparently was my drink. Where were the girls? In the back, chatting away and giggling. I guess neither of them knew how to make an iced matcha.
