Mocha Love shake
Marie M.

I love, love, love going someplace, like great coffee shops, and they recall what you like. Coming here is almost making me feel like "Norm" in that place where everyone knows your name. They practically have my love shake prepared the way I like it by the time I get in the door. Their attentive service is the best. Btw, if you don't like their mocha loveshakes too sweet I recommend half sweet. It's tasty and you can still enjoy the espresso flavor.

This place is a treasure. Love the vibe for working, but the indoors hasn't been open during Covid precautions. The drive thru is open as is the lovely patio. This place truly love's coffee and lives up to its name. I have yet to get a bad cup of brewed coffee here, and their espresso drinks are always spot on. Their love bombs (protein ball) are huge and more than a meal in itself. I also love their blueberry scone. I greatly enjoy their ice cream too. Their chocolate affogato is lovely. Their hours are limited and they do stay open late on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The owner was just locking up one afternoon and reopened just to make me a coffee. That in itself earned my loyalty to this coffee shop. They go over the top to provide the best coffee and service in the area. They have cool merch too.

Small & cozy coffee shop least to say with an outdoor hang out area that the weather didn't allow us to enjoy. If you have an hour or so to spend with friends, family, or significant other for coffee & chat, this should be a strong recommendation. Food & coffee was great, the breakfast bagel is what you'd expect it to be, hearty & delicious with a simple menu that isn't overwhelming or intimidating. Immediately greeted with energy & kindness that made ordering a breeze.

I have been following Love Coffee for some time now and we finally made it in this morning. The cafe has a few tables inside, a large outside area that is covered and a drive-thru. The drive-thru seemed to be the way most choose here. Inside is quiet but there just isn't the "I could sit here all day" vibe. It felt very commercial. It is clean and laid out very well. Service is fast and friendly. They have an assortment of breakfast hot items as well as pastries and ice cream. Their coffee is smooth and delicious. I ordered my drink extra hot and it was served just as requested. We would definitely check it out again when in the area.

Great coffee, great service. Wish the place had more indoor seating inside. The patio outside is shaded and comfortable

The coffee is great, but it's the people that keep me coming back to this place. Pastries and ice cream are delicious, too! Support local.

Food - we ordered a sausage burrito, which was very delicious. They definitely give you a lot of meat, which is nice since that's what you're paying for. No potatoes in the burrito, which is another plus in my opinion. Bagel sandwich with added pesto was perfect. The bagel was soft and fresh which I appreciate. Excited to return here again!

I remember the first coffee shop I went to. It was called Coffee Time and it was a sad place, more…read moreof a donut shop. It had stained preformed plastic seats, a terrible smell of industrial ammonia with terrible brews with awful day olds. Nowadays, coffee shops have as much sophistication as fancy restaurants. Gusto is one of those spots. It is very spacious, with seating for several dozen people and even has a outdoor seating area that overlooks a very nice field. It has a nice fireplace as well as little nooks and crannies for you to sit in. I give it top grades for store designer. They did a great job. The coffee itself is very good. As someone who is trying to drink coffee black, I have only found a few places were I could do it. However, while the coffee was good enough to drink on it's own, the brew itself was mild and inoffensive, even though I drank the bold Brazillian. The snack I had was called a scone, but it wasn't. It has the taste of a cookie, or those "cookie pizzas" that you see at bake sales. However, no matter, it was good. The one thing secret that you might want to try out is that on Weekdays, coffees are only $0.99 after noon, so my bill for both only came out to $3.09 tax included! I would suggest this place if you aren't too discerning about the brew and just want to get a good cup of coffee. It is worth coming to.

It's been three consecutive times that I've came and the brew has been on the disappointing week side. If I got something else like a chai, it's been a little on the lackluster side too. They used to have some awesome baristas, and I haven't seen this one barista who made sure things ran smoothly. Yesterday, I noticed customer service really lacking. When I arrived at 11:30 AM the three baristas were all up front and had been attentive, but around 1 PM they had all drifted in back and none would pop their head out to see if anyone had come to the counter. I had stood at the counter for five minutes or so, and had thought I had made eye contact with one girl, but apparently she must have not seen me. I even said "hello" out loud, but nothing. A minute or two later a lady came in and was waiting behind me, and after a minute or two she asked if I had been waiting long. I told her the truth, and eventually a barista came out and asked me if I had been waiting long? I explained that I had, and had tried to catch someone's attention. I ordered an iced matcha and the lady behind me ordered some other drink. Guess who's came out first? I waited a few more minutes and noticed the another barista (a guy) had just started making an iced match, which apparently was my drink. Where were the girls? In the back, chatting away and giggling. I guess neither of them knew how to make an iced matcha.

Yes I recommend!!…read more The company was founded 1998. The very first Scooter's Coffee location was known as "Scooter's Java Express." The name fit well with their mission to keep customers happy by helping them "scoot in and scoot out" quickly! So if you want to wait on those ridiculous lines in other establishments? It better be your day off lol But if you're a working guy like me. I need my drink and go! Then this is the place to be!! They also serve iced Tea!! Mmmm Enjoy!!!:)

I didn't have one actual word of conversation said to me the whole time they wouldn't even look at me, My coffees were good but had sticky stuff all over the cups. I won't go back to this location ever time i go here i'm disappointed in either the customer service or the coffees. The Scooters off 291 in lees summit is way better

The beans were ground fresh for me. I love French Vanilla coffee, but it's not my wife's favorite. So it was nice to be able to get a cup and enjoy it. I also ordered biscuits and gravy and a glass of milk, which were very tasty. I brought my wife home a cinnamon roll which she enjoyed. She said it was good. The front of the house is pretty bustling and lively. At the back of the restaurant, there's a quieter room and outdoor dining on the patio. I will definitely be returning to this location. Special shout out to the staff, who were magnificent.

It's a pretty downtown location. The decor is cozy and nicely decked out for Christmas. - chairs. They spent a little extra on padded leather to save our butts. - service. They're quick and polite. - cleanliness. Now for the less good: - layout. Everything feels tight. It's prettier than it is practical. - drink quality. My daughter found her spiced chai (pictured) overly sweet. And if you look at the pic, you'll notice that they gave her basically 2/3 of a cup. That pic was taken before she took a single sip (yes, I know the straw I used to show the amount looks used; I did use it to search for a tea bag in my tea fog. See below!). My cinnamon/butterscotch tea fog was, to put it politely, unimpressive. I left it steeping at least 15 minutes because it was way too hot to drink. And then I had to get a straw to search for tea bags, because it tasted like hot foamy water and I was convinced they'd forgotten to put the tea bags in. Well, they hadn't. There was one tea bag. My standard of comparison is Gusto over by Longview, which makes the best tea fogs in town. They use two tea bags and it tastes like heaven. Whatever they served me at Whistle Stop tasted like perfumed water. So overall, I give it a 3/5. Points for location and decor and nice chairs. But the main attraction should be the drinks, and they were both kinda terrible. And there's just no excuse for serving someone 2/3 of a cup when we're paying $6 for a small drink.
