Amazing! I was just looking for a healthy and simple breakfast and this place really satisfied. I ordered steel cut oatmeal with blueberry muffin and coffee. It arrived quickly and was very fresh and hot. The blueberry muffin and oatmeal are some of the best that I've ever had. The coffee was fresh with excellent taste. This has got to be my FAVORITE FAVORITE breakfast spot. I have ordered a few different entries from them including A.M. superfoods bowl (healthy side), eggs benedict, skillet hash market (lots and lots of veggies), avocado toast, and the works. If you are super hungry I highly recommend the works. I wish I could post pictures of every entree I have ever ordered but unfortunately I only have a picture of the works. Me and my friend decided to go to First Watch today because that's our usual breakfast spot we enjoy going to . Today I was very disappointed with the service and don't think I'll ever go back to this location We walked in and they immediately sat us down which was nice because usually there's a wait . The host sat us what seemed to be in the middle of the isle , so we were very visible . 10 minutes pass by and nobody still had greeted us or asked if we want anything to drink . I then preceded to look at the host and saw that she was talking to another waiter . About three minutes later the host came over and asked if we wanted coffee , we said no and just asked for water . Another 10 minutes pass by and still nobody came to greet us or bring our waters . We ended up leaving. When I calmed down , I decided to call the manager to complain about my experience . They hung up on me not once , but twice . I'm very dissatisfied because I was a a loyal customer , I'd go there at least once a week . You'd think since it was a Tuesday that we wouldn't have these types of problems , but I was wrong . If I could give it 0 stars , I would read more

Everything about my breakfast this morning was sensational. Eggs cooked to perfection and even the salad greens were tasty delicious. Our waiter, Matthew, was so amazing and even lowered the window shades to make sure our eyes were not bothered by the sunlight reflected off of cars in the parking lot. We have considered eating here several times on trips through Texas and finally decided to take the plunge after viewing pictures on Googlemaps. The staff was so friendly. Our server was Danielle and she could not have been more attentive. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. Incredibly light and delicious. My husband had the short rib poutine hash--delicious. My daughter had the biscuits and gravy-- very good but not my first choice on the menu. There really is so much to choose from -- I had a hard time settling on one item. So I had dined at the FM 1960 location and wasn't overly thrilled with the avocado toast there, it was overdone w/olive oil and lemon. So I decided to try this location and was pleasantly surprised that the Avocado toast was very good at this newer location which is closer to me. My server was Maria, she was very friendly and helpful. I had never eaten basted eggs and she explained the process, it was very insightful. Took some time to get seated although the place was not busy. No one took our order. Once we got our breakfast order placed, it took much to long to receive. The runner dropped our orders to us, no syrup for the pancake, no salt and pepper for the cold egg over easy. This is my second visit to this establishment and first to this location. I loved the atmosphere and I came here this morning to work. It was a bit noisy being that it was Sunday but I found a quiet little booth in the back to work in. I had the trifecta breakfast and it was delicious. Met up for breakfast with a friend who claimed this to be one of her favorite places. Was excited by the pictures online but when I went in for the dining experience I was greatly disappointed. The restaurant was barely half full with customers and there were five or six servers actively serving all their tables and yet completely ignored us for five minutes when we waited to be seated. If I hadn't been with my friend I would have walked right out. We ended up seating ourselves and every server walked right past us without any acknowledgments for another several minutes. Because it wasn't so crowded I could hear myself think comfortably but the tables were really small. We finally got service and the food took over a half hour to arrive at our tables. I ordered the traditional breakfast on the menu. The eggs were cold and came with green onions, something that wasn't specified on the menu. The sausages were soft as well as the potatoes and the few potatoes that did have crisp tasted burnt. What I did like the was seasoning on the potatoes and I was very happy the whole wheat toast served. Portions were generous but because of my disappointment with a majority of the food I didn't eat as much of it and yet I still felt sluggish and uncomfortable the way one does from carb loading. The menu has several great options from healthy lighter items to traditional omelets and pancakes. I opted for a blueberry pancake and a seasonal item, the million dollar bacon. The pancake was big and came with a blueberry compote on the side. It comes dressed with a nice scoop of butter on top and a warm bottle of syrup. The million dollar bacon is something I would order every day, and probably cuddle with on a cold evening. Warm, perfectly cooked bacon with a little brown sugar and a touch of cayenne pepper finished with a drizzle of warm syrup. Fast friendly service and quality eats. Can't ask for more. read more

Not safe for kids! Unless they learn their lesson. My son tripped on their wet floor & hit his head on the metal frame bench of their booth. The company's insurance denied us because there's no proof! Putting the blame on us! Seriously!!! I had to rush my son in the ER, without any assistance from the restaurant. Unfortunately it was 8'ish in the morning on New Year's Day so it was not busy, it should have been plenty of witnesses. My son has total of 10 stitches, 3 inside & 7 outer part near his eye/brow area. God knows what happened & this restaurantcompany didn't pay us even his medical bill, they will pay somewhere else. If you'll ask my son up until now, he remembers & it's traumatic for him. As per his pediatrician, he is going to have that scar for life. Thanks for reaching out but your company has our information. The local restaurant has our contact number, we left the store voicemail messages. We were told the day it happened when we went back there after the ER visit, to wait from the company's insurance to contact us which somebody did. Still our claim was denied twice! Not once... based on their investigation. Seriously?! As a healthcare provider, it's devastating and unreal how a company response to something like this. read more
