I love the food at from First Watch but recently I've been noticing a decline in customer service. It always seems as if they're short staffed whether it be on a slow day during the week or on a busy Sunday morning, I find myself waiting almost 30mins for my food to come out. I'd understand if they were backed up in the kitchen and JUST got to my order, but for the past couple of trips when I get my food it's cold. It also seems as if it has been sitting awhile as the sauces or toppings have dried out a bit and the toast is soggy from the butter. If they could work out the kitchen efficiency and hire a few more waiters/ waitresses this place would be a 5 star restaurant for sure! read more

This is a perfect place to begin your morning! You are greeted by a wonderful host and wait staff. The coffee is Hot / fresh and the food is Amazing. I visit this location as often as I can. I recommend Jenna be your server. read more

I put in a to go order online and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I get there and the ladies working the front weren't very friendly. Told me when the order was ready it would be placed on the table but I had to wait outside. Um, if I'm waiting outside, how am I supposed to see when you put my order on the table? Plus, this whole "wait outside because of covid" BS is getting old. I'm pregnant and it's over 100 degrees outside. I am not waiting outside. Anyway, there was another lady waiting for her order and had been waiting over an hour! I asked how much longer it would be and I was told the kitchen was backed up with tickets down to the floor. Ok well then you need to update your online system so it doesn't tell people 15 minutes! After waiting a little longer I just asked for my order to be cancelled. Now I just have to hope I get my money refunded! read more

We have been going here for 3 years. Great food, great service. My 85 year old Dad eats there 3 or 4 times a week. The staff always treats him so great. It makes his day to be greeted by his name and escorted to his favorite table. It's the highlight of his week. Ian the manager always takes good care of my Dad. read more

Got seated and nobody ever stopped by and acknowledge us after 10 minutes, wasn't busy or anything so just left

Every time we come to Arizona to visit family, we also visit this location. The food is amazing (I'm not a bacon person but my husband gets the million dollar bacon every time) with generous portion sizes. The family atmosphere is great, and the manager somehow always remembers us! Highly recommend, and can't wait to go back. read more

We have been to this location several times as it is close to our home and it's really good food. Although after our recent encounter with a common waitress we have had several times I had to do a review. We have had Mary several times and after the first I have never wanted her again, she is rude, always interrupts if you are with a group and just seems like her overall moral of being a waitress is extremely low. We took two friends with us to breakfast and when I saw she was going to be our waitress I almost asked for someone new but we went through breakfast and sure enough the same attitude, and lack of interest went throughout the entire meal. Then towards the end she seems to take notice that we aren't receptive to her lack of enthusiasm and tries to turn it around. At the end of the day I'm all about you having a bad day but after several visits it's hard to not write a review, if your unhappy with being in the service industry then there are plenty of other positions to accommodate you. read more

It was busy but we got seated right away. Service was great and the pancakes were great too!

Hands down the best location! All the of servers and managers are so kind and friendly and make the experience wonderful. They have amazing chefs at this location also because the food is AMAZING. 10/10 recommend! read more

I've repeatedly tried to like this place since they changed their name from Good Egg and also changed their menu. Went there this morning and had the Power Wrap. Service was slow and food was extremely dry. Most items on the menu seem to be over a thousand calories and just don't appeal to me. Omelettes and traditional breakfast seems to have been purposely left off the menu. Since the place was virtually empty, I have to presume that others are agreeing with my evaluation of the First Watch experience. I won't be back!! read more

Literally the best breakfast I've had in months. Lauren (sp?) was a great server and the food was delicious.

We ordered the ham and cheese sandwich and we got the works omelet instead, we sent it back and then got the same exact omelet the second time. Once we sent those both back we finally got the sandwich. After getting the sandwich the second meal was already cold and the sandwich was barely warm. Only nice thing was that we didn't have to pay for the mistake. Definitely won't be coming back. read more

Been waiting for our food for over an hour now and now being told it's another long wait. We ordered a soup and sandwich and biscuits and gravy that came with eggs. After over an hour of waiting we got our food... but no eggs and my sandwich was ice cold. Really frustrating. read more

My favorite west valley breakfast spot! Definitely try the Kale tonic! It's sweet and refreshing and delicious! I love the smoked salmon frittata with the breakfast potatoes!! Also LOVE their toast it's amazing. My husband always gets the Trifecta with the waffle. He loves it! Great coffee too. You'll love their friendly service and delicious coffee! Get in line before you leave home on the "Nowait" app and your table will be ready when you get there! read more

Good food, service was slow and terrible. They lost my reservations (but they did get us seated when I check-in) and it took over an hour to get out food! Not sure if they were short or just way too busy, but not sure I'm going back especially if I'm hungry. read more

3rd time here. They were very busy, (9 am Sat morning) so we waited about 15 minutes. After being rushed to a table that was still damp from being wiped down, I immediately noted that the silverware and glasses were horribly water spotted and dirty with fingerprints. The coffee mugs were far worse with sticky syrup and lipstick smudges. When the server finally showed up, I pointed it out, and she took our drink order and then hastily grabbed them and later came back with cleaner(?) glasses and mugs. The water glass smelled of the chemical used in the dishwasher. We weren't ready to order, which appeared to irritate the server even more. She left and returned about 10 minutes later, which was simply way too long to wait. I ordered an advertised special and my wife ordered a standard menu item with some changes. When they arrived, I noted mine did not look like the advertised item and was missing some ingredients. I had to wait about 8 minutes before I could flag down our server, who had yet to come by to ask if everything was to our liking. When she did finally show up after waving at her, I asked if my order was supposed to include additional ingredients and she immediately left and brought back the missing part. No apology was given, nor was there any suggestion to replace with a fresh and warm meal or the offer to remove it from our ticket. However, she did blame it on the person who brought the meal out. I requested that she remove it from our ticket, which she did. There was never an apology given. The cashier asked rotely how our meal was but did not wait for, nor seemed interested in a reply. It is quite evident that the restaurant management and staff were unprepared for increased business (first day of the month - after a payday - and a direct mailer had been sent out... really?) and EVERY employee there (wait and kitchen) were poorly trained by management and ill-prepared to handle the increased business properly and professionally. In my previous experiences, the food has been exceptional, prepared and served correctly. That is the reason for the two stars. If I were a first-time customer, I would have given a one-star rating. I hope they get their act together as I do like the quality of their food. We will see..... read more

There was definitely a solid 20 mi it's wait when we came on Sunday at 10:50AM... but it was SO worth it! My mom and I came for a hearty grub and as my mom makes good decisions, I regularly copy her and we both got the elevated egg sandwich. It was amazing! The potatoes did not disappoint either. I can't wait to try more on the menu and for the weather to cool off and sit on the patio! read more

One of my favorite brunch spots! We go here every Saturday after baseball practice. Haven't had a dish I didn't like and they have the best coffee. read more

They have the best avocado toast! My wife and I eat here every Tuesday morning, we've always had very nice wait staff. Great job!

Solid breakfast + lunch joint. Of all the locations in the valley, this is my favorite because there is rarely a wait. Really enjoy the lemon custard pancakes (when I'm looking to carb overload), the breakfast tacos and the turkey burger is one of the best I've had. read more

I live down the street from here and it's always our go-to! I always get the elevated egg sandwich. But today I decided to get something new and tried the chickichanga, it was delicious. And one of their new seasonal juices a carrot ginger chai. It was fabulous. Plus good, fast service read more

My dining experience here was top notch from the second I walked in. I felt instantly welcome and right at home. The service was excellent and swift. The food was warm and cooked to perfection. I'm so happy to finally have a breakfast place so close to home. read more

This is USUALLY our routine Sunday breakfast spot my husband and I attend. However this past Sunday was the worst experience I have ever had!! We use the waitlist which is suppose to alert them we are in our way (granted we literally live two minutes away!) therefore the wait time won't be as long.. it's a lie! My husband and I arrive stand in front of the hostess for TWO MINUTES before she acknowledges us. She starts to argue with another coworker in who will check us in! It literally takes a second! Then we are told the wait time is 20 minutes! We waited for almost an HOUR! They literally sat everyone who arrive after us before us! Finally we are seated and the restaurant is empty! We waited for nothing! We finally start to order and they are out of ingredients to make the plate I literally waited a whole hour for! Horrible experience!! read more

I always come here. The food is always consistently good. The iced coffee is delicious. Sometimes the waiters can be rude that is why I did not give it 5 stars. read more

Don't be FOOLED by the nice well kept appearance of the interior design and the clean, crisp look of the menu you'll be handed. It's a cover for the sub-standard food and service. Breakfast is the easiest to make and serve yet, my eggs, potatoes, toast and bacon were cold. Our server didn't do the usual 5-10min follow-up to make sure I was happy with my meal...so I just sat there...when server did come back, she didn't remove my meal from the bill. STAY AWAY from this place as this has happened to me on a number of occasions. I won't be back...they wasted my precious time and money. read more

Today we came in to eat and felt the server was extremely rude. The server tried to almost rush us out, she didn't check up on drinks. The French toast was undercooked. I felt that this experience was a bit sour due to our server. The drinks however were great but again we only had one. I may go back again and see how it is but this was not a pleasant experience in what I assume to be a good restraunt. read more

On vacation in Phoenix. Had breakfast here this afternoon. We ordered the Frittata Rustica, an order of the millionaire's bacon and the Tri-Fecta. The service was excellent, attentive and very personable & friendly. The food was also excellent and definitely will return tomorrow! read more

Mediocre food, and service quality depends on your luck. Can't explain how so many people find this place good, except perhaps that ignorance, low standards, and sugar palates are common. We stopped going after we got three consecutive bad experiences: overcooked eggs, terrible service, rude attitude, and pricey always. read more

This is our favorite breakfast and lunch place for healthy food and we can't live without the kale tonics!

Had the waffle trifecta. Waffle was made perfect. Hit the spot. Service was great. Recommend for sure

Healthy! Fast service for a Sunday. Great atmosphere. I had the avocado toast and eggs.

This was another great Yelp find. Delicious breakfast & brunch foods with lots of healthy options. They have good coffee, which is a lot for me to say because I'm picky. They have fresh juices that looked good, but I was too full to try. The portions were good, not ridiculous big but not small. Close to the ASU campus and easy to find. Two thumbs up! read more

AWFUL. Frittata with roasted vegetables and smoked salmon...one CHUNK of SLICED smoked salmon, not separated, in the middle, and lots of onion, one piece of red pepper and two slices of mushroom. Came with a half of a small bola smeared with unmelted "butter"?, and, at most, a quarter cup of fruit.....all for the low low price of almost $12. AWFUL. Service okay, friendly. Clean environment. read more

Nice place for breakfast. Gets very busy on weekends so try to come here on a weekday morning if you can! There is a cute outdoor seating area with nice mountain views and palm trees. Everything in this part of town is almost brand new. I have tried two things on the menu avocado toast and the Super food bowl. Both were delicious! The Super food bowl is my favorite with coconut chia seed pudding and berries. It is served with toast with almond butter and sea salt. I like that they use local ingredients when possible. Service is just ok. read more
