This is such a cute place to have brunch. I love the decor and the chic ambiance. There wasn't a long wait to be seated or receive service. You feel like you're at an upscale lounge even though you are in a strip mall. Completely unexpected. We unfortunately did not get the chance to try the fusion food so we will be back!
A friend recommended Monae Fusion recently so we had to try it. I ordered their new chicken sandwich but forgot the name of it. It was so delicious and fresh. It's pretty large sandwich so I should've saved half for later but couldn't help myself from gobbling it all up. My friend ordered their pancake breakfast plate and she really enjoyed it too. The side salad was very fresh with incredible dressing. Service is excellent and the dining room is very cozy and beautifully decorated. Their drinks especially coffee look really good; we will try them next time.
I was delighted to invite my 86th year old friend to celebrate at Monae's; she had never been. She loved the atmosphere, the beautiful Christian music, and of course the food! We had the strawberry crepes breakfast, which were delicious; it is only served on Thursdays!
Cute cafe with friendly service and tasty food (and free wifi!) I came by during a workday with my laptop. I was almost immediately greeted by (I believe she is the owner based on responses I've seen on Yelp) and she stopped by my table to tell me that I didn't need to feel rushed. This was incredibly kind of her to say, because oftentimes when I do bring my laptop I am rushed by waitstaff even if I'm ordering food and eating a meal. Very nice! Wifi was pretty good, too. The food was very good! I had a turkey and pesto sandwich and it was fresh and delicious. I also had a dessert: ordered one of their cupcakes and got the lemon one. Cupcake was cold. Not my favorite way to enjoy a cupcake nor did I realize it was refrigerated or may not have gotten it. But nonetheless it was flavorful and baked well. I also enjoyed a cup of decaf coffee and they had a huge menu of drinks to choose from. Service was kind and attentive (but not *too* attentive) which is very appreciated! The atmosphere is well-decorated to what you would expect an Instagram-meets-Pinterest board. It's got faux greenery and jewel tones. They play music in there that's quite loud if the dining room is empty. The music is a mix of Christian rock and gospel music. Overall I am really glad I stopped in! I was disappointed they were sold out/not offering their whole menu, but I'd definitely recommend it!
I think I am to Texan sometimes because I look at portion sizes. The portions are a little small but the food was good. I also had great service. The pancakes someone called to heaven to make sure they were as fluffy as a cloud. I loved it!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and well lit. It was clean and well taken care of. Our party of several guests was seated immediately upon arrival. The menu features an impressive selection of handcrafted refreshments, including artisan smoothies, specialty coffees, and teas, eschewing traditional sodas and standard juices in favor of higher-quality offerings. I ordered the coconut lime refresher, which was exceptionally bright and refreshing. The chicken tacos were equally outstanding. My husband selected the "Goat Temptation," which proved so popular that our nine-year-old shared a significant portion of it. Every plate was cleared, and the quality of the meal was exemplary throughout. We were particularly impressed by the service provided by Monae, whose warmth and attentive care truly enhanced our dining experience. It is clear that she is deeply passionate about her craft. I would rate this experience higher than five stars if possible; it was truly exceptional.
Our first time trying this neighborhood cafe for breakfast and it was so delicious. We were surprised at the quality of the food and how presentable everything was. I love the decor with all the plants. The staff is very friendly, they checked on us to see how everything was. I tried their Ultimate breakfast and it was just the right balance of healthy and savory. Their iced coffees are great too! Obviously we will be visiting here often.
My young daughter originally picked this place out for us to try as a start to our "girl's day" based on one of the photos someone posted of creme a la fraise (which is what she ended up ordering for herself). It was an unbelievably delicious meal. The ambiance was unlike anywhere else I've ever been. It is beautifully decorated, each table is super comfy but not difficult to eat in chairs, and a yummy display case for baked goods. Highly recommend the early riser frittata!

We ordered our food and were told the chef hasn't shown up yet so it will be a while. Weird but okay -- I was prob 820 by this time. We saw the chef walk in at 830ish so we were happy we might get food. I tried the breakfast with eggs, bacon and 3 small pancakes. Let me say -- these pancakes were so fluffy and delicious!!!! Serious yum!! Took a lot of time, but a supporting a local Business with good coffee and food -- I'll be back again!
The space was absolutely beautiful. The hostess was extremely sweet and the waitress was attentive. The food was good. I ordered the salmon toast which came on one slice of sourdough bread with salmon, cucumber, cream cheese , tomatoes, and capers. It was good but for $20 I expected something that was filling. I was shocked to have only gotten one slice of toast. Had I not shared with my friend and ate some of her flatbread, I would have been pretty disappointed at the price of the food and it didn't fill me up at all. I also had a spritzer that was tasty but after drinking that, a glass of water, and my $20 slice of toast, I was still hungry. For the price of a slice of toast, I think adding a small cup of fruit would sufficient so a customer would feel spending $20 for one slice was worth it. My friend said the food was underwhelming for her but she enjoyed the meal overall. The flatbread was good , I should have ordered that as it was filling but I had no idea my chosen meal would not be. Lastly, the environment was giving blessed. I do love that worship music was playing during our meal and it just made the scene more calm and serene.

You know when you visit a friend and they make dinner and you can tell they poured their heart into the meal? Monae Fusion is that. It's getting five stars because in today's hustle and bustle this food makes you slow down and savor every bite, and time. I walked away remembering life is worth savoring and a fully belly! The staff were so delightful and pleasant, and our food was delicious! We got the Créme À La Fraise French Toast, prosciutto avocado toast, brown sugar oat and butter pecan French toast lattes. We loved both! It's a gem of a place and so happy we tried it. So if you're looking to slow down, a good meal, and lots of love - this is it! read more
We came here on a weekday for our girls' catch-up lunch. My friend suggested this place, and none of us had been here before. I'm glad she picked it. Starting from the outside, with a couple of tables out front, the place already had a chill vibe. Once we walked in, it felt very spacious. I loved the decor and the colors. We were seated at a bigger table for the four of us. At first, we thought the table might be a little too big, but it actually worked out perfectly because we could use the extra chairs for our purses and bags. Very thoughtful! My friends ordered regular lattes, and I got the Triple Berry Fusion. For food, we ordered the Omelette with Sausage, Saumon Fumé Toast, and the Monae Chicken Sandwich. The presentations were all so pretty, and everything tasted delicious. Our server was very nice. She let us take our time to chat and even became our photographer. At the end, we also got the chance to meet the owner, Monae. She was very kind, easygoing, and welcoming. The only thing that might be an issue is if we bring our husbands or guy friends with us next time. The portions are a little on the smaller side, so they might still be hungry afterward. Such a great little gem tucked away in a strip mall! The space is quaint and inviting, with beautiful blue floors, tasteful décor, and plush chairs. The coffee was to die for--I had the Butter Pecan French Toast coffee, and it was amazing! The Afro-fusion food was equally impressive. The Plantain Explosion was a true taste explosion--the sweet plantains paired with savory goat meat were incredible. The Happi' Cado, a fun twist on a club sandwich, had slightly sweet bread, perfectly cooked bacon, and fresh, plentiful avocado. The owner/chef even stopped by to apologize for the wait. We told her we appreciated the home-cooked feel and would take food made with care over rushed food any day. Unique, delicious, and clearly made with love. We'll definitely be back! read more

Stumbled upon this brunch spot, the atmosphere was super relaxed and calming! The decor is so cute and the food was delicious as well! Our waitress was very accommodating, and she gave some great drink recommendations. I will definitely be stopping by again :) read more

Enjoyed brunch here for Mother's Day weekend. A bright and chic atmosphere with staff who are warm, welcoming and accommodating. Our party each ordered a different entree and no crumbs were left! My only critique would be the goat meat was a little tough for my liking, but everything was flavorful, down to the tropical smoothies and refreshers. I look forward to returning. read more

My friend and I stumbled upon this wonderful brunch cafe while looking g for a new place to try. The pictures online just don't do this place justice. I will start by saying the hours state they open at 8am on Saturday, but the actual time is 8:30. When we walked in, we immediately got warm, comfy vibes. There were wonderful blue, cozy chairs, crystal light fixtures and a pastry display case filled with beautiful, tasty looking goodies. We were greeted with a smile and seated right away. I ordered a dirty chai that was good, but my friend for the vanilla honey latte which was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious! I will be getting that next time. Both were served in a pretty mug on a white saucer with gold trim. We then ordered our meals while we chatted and sipped our drinks. It didn't take too long before our meals arrived. I got the Ultimate breakfast and she got the Double Trouble. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely wonderful. The pancakes are so fluffy and taste great, even without syrup. It was so much food that neither of us were able to finish our meals! Service was wonderful. This is a place I will be taking my friends to. read more

Monae Fusion Brunch Cafe was an accidental find, and it's a GEM of a restaurant in Glendale, AZ. The fritatta that I ordered was delicious, freshly made, served with sliced avocado, perfectly crisp, thick, tasty bacon, toast and jam. Service was excellent. The seating? Who would guess we had comfy armchairs??!! The juice selections are varied and delicious and made with fresh fruit. Coffee was sweetened with Agave. There's music, but another surprise, unlike many modern eateries, we could converse without shouting. The ambiance is welcoming, and prices are competitive. We got there at 9:00, by 10:00 the tables were full. I recommend Monea Fusion highly. You won't be disappointed. read more

The food and service were amazing! Monae was so beautiful and such a nice person. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Food took about 25 minutes and everyone ate every single crumb. I definitely recommend!! read more
Beautiful and delicious latte! I had been to pic strange brew before it closed and thought this was in its old spot so I thought it had closed when I first drove up but then I found it! They use strange brew coffee, not sure if it's the same owners. I can't by just for a latte but the food sounded good too. Cute and clean in here, chairs are super comfy! I got a honey cream vanilla bean latte. It was pricey but a very large latte. Staff was incredibly nice! Will need to try the food here sometime! read more

What an incredible addition to our community. I had the pleasure of meeting Monae and her staff today and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with warm smiles. The location is a bit hidden and not very visible from the main road but worth the search. I ordered the brown sugar oat latte which was perfectly balanced on the sweetness and sufficiently bold on the espresso. They serve Press coffee, and the crème a la fraise was prepared with fresh ingredients and didn't feel heavy at all! Don't want to gate keep this spot and I hope they stay around for a long while. read more

Great family owned business. Food is very good as well as their coffee the only issue with this place is that it takes a long time for them to get your food out so definitely go if you got some time on your hands but would not recommend for someone in a hurry unless your just grabbing coffee. read more
