Breakfast Tacos with Million Dollar Potatoes (only $1.99 to upgrade!!).
    Jennifer J.

We came in on a Saturday (8/2/25) around 12:30 or so and were warmly greeted by the hostess. She informed us (party of 2) thst it'd be about a 20 minute wait. When we asked if the wait were shorter for outside, she quickly went to check. Great news: immediate seating was available (the weather was an unseasonably lovely 75°!)!! This was our first visit and I was super excited: friends had raved about htis place AND a new location was about to open closer to us down in Central Park. The menu isn't large, but that's not always a bad thing. I'm of the belief that a restaurant should focus on doing "a few things" and do them really well rather than do a ton of things halfway. The ambiance is casual, comfortable and clean. Even on the patio, everything was sparkling and nothing was sticky!! Our server Melissa appeared pretty quickly and took our drink order. When we told her it was our First Watch , and asked her opinion on food, she quickly mentioned "the breakfast tacos are ALWAYS great." She mentioned a couple omelets that are super popular as well. But since we had just come off a beach getaway and love the first response from staff, we BOTH chose the Breakfast Tacos. They come with a side of seasoned black beans (neither of us is a huge fan). My husband asked "is it worth it to upgrade the potatoes to 'Million Dollar Potatoes'?" And Melissa gave us a very confident, "yes, definitely," which convinced my husband! I figured I'd try the "regular" potatoes (diced and lightly cooked with slivers of onion). Despite the nearly full restaurant, our food was delivered pretty quickly and everything was accurate. I smeared avocado into my taco and dug in... fluffy eggs, plenty of cheese, well-seasoned and creamy thanks to the avocado. I like my breakfast potatoes crisper, but that's on me. These were fresh potatoes (not frozen or battered like many other places) with slivers of sautéed onion and nicely seasoned. My husband enjoyed his tacos free of pico and avocado. But the brunch blockbuster was his side of Million Dollar Potatoes... oh my goodness they were DELICIOUS!! Creamy Parmesan cheese, LOTS of crispy bacon chunks, perfectly seasoned with fresh diced potatoes presented in a ramekin. There was enough sauce to add some of my potatoes into the mix and convince me that there should be no other way to enjoy potatoes!! Melissa was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Drink refills arrived just as my husband and I were going to flag herr down!! Seriously, when servers can't read a table, it drives me crazy (I'm a former server myself). Let customers enjoy the food and company. Melissa rocked this!! We can't wait to go back. Next, I'll try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and sneak a few bites of MDP that my husband will likely have on the side of another fabulous entree.

First Watch has become my local go to for breakfast. The food is absolutely delicious and you can order to fit your palate. No one will tell you we can't make that change or we don't do that. I love it!!! The food was hot and good. I didn't get pictures of the fresh juices. I think we drank them too fast. But we ordered the Kale Tonic, the Morning meditation and the purple haze!!! We had to try all 3 . This a great breakfast and brunch spot, it is consistently good no matter what location I eat at. Kudos to the staff for bringing the smiles and charm each time we sit down

As someone who hasn't been to breakfast in the longest time, THIS HIT THE SPOT! Michelle was giving us the best recommendations and great service, the blueberry lemon cornbread was TO DIE FOR!

I love first watch, so I was so happy to see one in this area. They did not disappoint! Always consistently flavorful and great service. We started with the started with the purple haze. It tasted like a lemonade with lavender, very basic. For our mains, we ordered the Tri-fecta and 2 for you. The cobb salad is delicious, I don't normally like blue cheese, but the creaminess is perfect on the salad. The club sandwich is traditional and exactly what you would expect. Great place to go for breakfast! I'll be back again!

Super crowded but worth the wait! Join the waitlist ahead of your arrival to cut down on your wait time. Clean, open and airy, the restaurant is beautiful. Hostesses and waitstaff were friendly and energetic with good recommendations and attentive service. The food was good and well presented. Everything was as we ordered it and the quality was good. The winner of our meal was the smothered hash brown potatoes!

I was thoroughly impressed. First time I've had their biscuits and gravy at a First Watch and the food was very good. My son had the French Toast and he said it was perfect. Not too dry and not too rich. He's been to a couple of the restaurants and like this one the most so far. The service was very good and they even pulled our fav server from TX Roadhouse

    Almost empty.

The food was prepared accordingly and the server was amazing. When my party of two arrived at 8:30, we were asked to sit on a bench and wait, as well as other guests. We were never told why. I noticed the hostess sit down at a booth and converse with someone for about five minutes. After waiting for about 10-15 minutes, I finally asked the hostess what the issue was and she stated that she was spacing us apart. The restaurant was barely occupied. If you are short staffed, say that and I could have gone to Silver Dollar or IHop, where I'm not placed in a waiting corral!

Biscuits and Gravy, with potatoes and over easy eggs! A side of Belgian waffle is a must! So dang good!

Went back again, and just as amazing as before! New items on the menu, which I love! And, we were lucky enough to get Serena again! Another wonderful experience! She did so good! Thanks First Watch!

First Watch makes an amazing breakfast or brunch! We had the seasonal pumpkin pancakes with eggs and sausage patties. It tasted great and was filling. Service is usually pretty good considering this location just opened and they're very busy. The farmhouse feel is a great relaxed atmosphere to get your day started.

I've been to so many First Watch's I should be on the payroll! They opened this new spot in F'burg and I couldn't wait to check it out. And they didn't disappoint. Location is clean and what you come to expect for ambiance. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Fresh drinks and their standard offerings. Service was good once we got someone to notice we were seated. That was a little off but shout out to Rebecca who was on point once she was appointed to serve us. My only disappointment was my favorite which is the banana nut crunch pancake. It is usually the size of the plate but it was quite smaller today. Still delicious so I won't complain much. Next time I expect the normal size or I will!

We really enjoy visiting First Watch restaurants for breakfast, have for many years now... So, we were happy to hear there are two in the area newly opened... this one and a much newer one in Central Park. We stopped in here one Sunday recently for breakfast, getting there around 7:15AM soon after they opened and they already had 6 tables sat! By the time we left, they were pretty busy. The menu is the standard, as they don't have the seasonal specials yet and won't for a few months until they're past their "newbie" status. The service we got was great, friendly, helpful, and expeditious. The food we got was GREAT! Perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and tasty too! Highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try!

I was so hungry and the food looked so good, I forgot to take pictures! our waiter was EJ and he was AMAZING! He was so friendly, so accommodating and was so helpful! The ladies that brought our food were so nice, I asked if they could add whipped cream to my daughter's French toast and they were so happy to do that for us. I ordered the Farmers Market Hash Bowl. The Million dollar bacon was PACKED with flavor. I really enjoyed our experience here and we didn't wait long because we used the app the get put on the waitlist. Thank you Corner's Corner crew for making our first visit a great one!

This is the first time we finally was seated to eat. The menu has a lot of healthy food that looks delicious. I tried the BLTE with a bowl of vegetable soup and my daughter ordered the chicken quinoa bowl this morning. The inside is decorated nice and has a lot of seating. The coffee is pretty good. The BLTE is very good with the egg on it. The quinoa was good but they forgot the pesto on it but overall very good will have to come back and try different items.

Service was good but ordered salads on four or more occasions and each time they were soggy, the last being inedible.

When I got there, I was craving appetizers and fries lol. So I ordered a classic burger which was very flavorful, juicy and tender. I also ordered a side of garlic fries which the aroma was unbelievable and delicious. For dessert, I ordered a couple of sundaes for my little ones and for myself, I ordered their lemon cream layer cake. Let me tell you about That lemon cake .. it was phenomenal! It arrive to the table with a simple and classic display with whipped cream on one side of the slice cake and other side was strawberry purée. That first bite will lift your eyebrows, put a smile on your face and your palate will thank you. The cake itself was soft, delicate and when you scoop a little of the purée with that lemon cake.. you won't be disappointed. Our server Yahaira was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean, comfortable and not too loud. I would make another visit to try other items on their menu.

Our bartender/server was Lashone and she was funny, fast and friendly! She was pouring drinks for the ENTIRE restaurant and didn't miss a beat!! The breakfast menu is small but everything sounded fantastic. I chose the Steak Tacos; my husband chose the brie and bacon frittata (added by the chef since the quiche was sold out. Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. 5 stars for her and my food; 1 for the frittata. I don't want to average it and tank the rating. We'll be back soon to see Lashone!
