It genuinely felt like there were some kind of air-conditioning issues happening, which already made sitting through dinner uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the service didn't make the experience any better. Our server, Diego, seemed annoyed from the very beginning. Maybe he was overworked or having a rough night, but he came across as unfriendly and irritated by fairly normal questions. We ordered a good variety for the table, including the deviled eggs, ranch onion rings, meatloaf, penne with steak, and chimichurri shrimp with mashed potatoes. When I asked whether the quinoa that came with a possible dish I was looking at, could be substituted for something else, Diego responded that it was "good for me" and that I should get it. That wasn't what I asked, and the response felt unnecessarily snarky. Then there was the margarita. Why are we putting regular table salt on the rim of a margarita? It may sound like a small detail, but at this price point and level of restaurant, the details matter. It just felt sloppy. The biggest issue, however, was my chimichurri shrimp. After cutting into one, I realized it was raw. Not slightly underdone. Raw. Eventually Diego came back around and I let him know. He took the plate away, but it took roughly another 30 minutes for the replacement shrimp to arrive. By that point, every single person I was dining with had finished their meal. I essentially sat there while my friends ate and then received my food after dinner was already over. What shocked me even more was that the meal wasn't comped. There was no meaningful attempt to make the situation right despite serving raw seafood and then taking another half hour to replace it. Mistakes happen in restaurants. Kitchens get backed up, servers have bad nights, and food occasionally needs to be remade. What separates a good restaurant from a disappointing one is how those mistakes are handled. Serving raw shrimp, leaving a guest without their meal while the rest of the table finishes, and then charging full price as though nothing happened is not good hospitality. Between the uncomfortable heat, dismissive service, questionable attention to detail, raw food, and the way the situation was ultimately handled, this completely put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun Friday night out with friends. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark in too many ways for me to overlook.

The restaurant was not particularly busy when we arrived, with only a handful of tables occupied. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and frustrating from the beginning. Service issues: * Our waiter took an unusually long time to acknowledge us. We ordered two iced waters, and my husband ordered a strawberry milkshake, explaining from the beginning that he was using his birthday reward. The milkshake eventually arrived with only one of our two waters. * We waited a long time before our waiter returned to take our food order. Our food was eventually delivered by another employee before we had even received our drinks. * When I was ordering my drink, our waiter stopped looking at me, turned his entire body toward my husband, and stared at him while I was still speaking. He did not acknowledge what I was saying or appear to be listening. It was so obvious that I told my husband afterward that I was not even sure our waiter had taken my order. It came across as extremely rude and dismissive. * After our food arrived, I had to flag down our waiter to ask about our drinks. He said he would get them, but disappeared again. I had to get his attention a second time. He then told my husband they were out of mango flavoring, so my husband requested peach instead. * When our drinks finally arrived, my tea was clearly sweet tea instead of unsweetened. I flagged him down again, and he brought me another sweet tea. * My husband had finished his lemonade and had been without a refill for quite some time. We also received very small portions of fries and wanted refills, but once again, we waited. At this point, it genuinely felt as though our table was being avoided. * When I finally got our waiter's attention again, he told me I would have to wait because he needed to make contact with another table first. I understand that servers have multiple tables, but considering how long we had already been waiting for nearly everything, this was frustrating. * When he finally returned, I explained that we needed two to-go cups with refills, two to-go boxes, two refills of fries, and help with the milkshake on the bill. He had entered my husband's birthday milkshake as a "Monster" shake, which prevented the birthday reward from being applied because the reward only included the standard flavors. * His response was, "It doesn't matter." I tried to show him on the kiosk that the birthday reward would not work. He sighed and appeared annoyed rather than attempting to help. * He then went to the back, split our check, and returned to tell us that we could not use the birthday reward because we had both ordered from the Deals menu. This would have been very useful information to know when my husband specifically mentioned his birthday reward at the beginning of the meal. There was no apology, no offer to remove the shake, and no attempt to find a solution. * He brought two to-go containers, but no to-go cups and no fries. Because he had split the check, we were also unable to order anything additional through the kiosk. * I finally asked another waitress for help. She was extremely kind and professional. I explained that I understood she was not our server, but we were still waiting for drink refills and two refills of fries. She immediately helped us. * Our original waiter suddenly appeared when he heard me explaining the situation to her, despite having spent very little time at our table all evening. She brought us the correct drinks and fries, and I asked for our check to be combined again. * Our waiter later returned with two additional to-go containers, apparently forgetting that he had already brought us two. He said nothing, offered no explanation, and walked away. The biggest issue throughout the meal was the complete lack of communication and follow-through. Every individual mistake could have been understandable on its own, but the repeated delays, having to continually flag down our server, incorrect drinks, missing items, the mishandled birthday reward, and lack of any apology made the entire experience extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. My husband felt that his burger patties were considerably thinner than they used to be, and my pizza did not taste right. Normally, I would have asked for a manager, but by that point we simply wanted to leave. We have had better experiences at this location in the past, which makes this visit particularly disappointing. However, based on both the service and the food during this visit, it will be a very long time before we return, if we return at all. I hope management takes this review seriously.
