Ok I'm a die-hard fan of Texas Roadhouse. However it wasn't a full house when I stopped in. Waitress was alright however I felt she waited on the table next to me more. I ordered the 8 oz steak and shrimp combo. Def didn't look like the picture when I got it. I said something and she's like, idk ‍ why it looks like it does. It honestly looks like a hot mess. Shrimp was undercooked, steak was a little too over done, bread was good, and the potato was a midget. Then when I got home I realized my receipt was jacked up .. how much did she really charge me extra? Yea a lot of. Extra money... I got mushrooms great however don't charge it as shrimp. I was def disappointed to see it costs over $3 for a soda fountain drink.

Service was great. Everything tasted smoky. Green beans, prime rib, T-bone Ugh. Meat was so tender, why cover it in flavorings? Let the meat speak for itself. The temp of the restaurant was SO cold the food got cold quick. Oh well

We've been here before an usually the service is good unless they're short staffed as they were on the 4th. We decided to come here since the rain took out the bbq. The food was good and the atmosphere is jovial with lots of smiling faces.

They had some seasonal drinks that we tried, which were good, but we really loved some of their staples like the rose quarts spritz and the London fog sour. The service was a little off the night we came in - timing issues with getting food out and lots of drama/comments between the staff. Nothing that was so off putting I wouldn't come back though! I think this would be a great stop if you're looking for somewhere before dinner or a light bite.

Their cocktail menu is full of fun holiday options, and the small plates menu offers plenty to choose from if you're hungry. I ordered the London Fog Sour, the classic crab dip, and the birria eggrolls. The London Fog Sour might honestly be one of my favorite cocktails I've had downtown--I loved it so much I ordered a second one. I'll be going back just for that drink. The crab dip was its usual reliable, delicious self, and the birria eggrolls were flavorful and packed with meat. Our server was fantastic and helped us decide which small plates to try. Overall, Harry's Sidecar is an excellent choice if you're looking for an intimate spot to enjoy happy hour, whether you're solo or with a group. I absolutely recommend giving it a try!

Yes, there are "trendy" restaurants downtown with a larger and rotating, seasonal, or farm-to-table menu. But Olde Towne Steak & Seafood is wonderful. The steak is always cooked to perfection, the shrimp in the Shrimp Cocktail are ENORMOUS, the stuffed mushrooms are (chef's kiss), their cocktails (especially dirty martinis) are wonderful, and their prime rib is as big as an infant's head. The interior could use a bit of an upgrade. I went there for my Senior prom in 1990 and although it is still cozy and inviting -especially fireside-the clean, classic decor could use a bit of a perking up. No minor issues like decor can obscure the wonderful service! A LOT of servers in this area consider waiting tables just a job to be done and gotten over with and customers a nuisance. Whether they truly feel it or not, the staff here present themselves as practicing their vocation. But none of this compares to the warmth and personal attention of Mrs. Hyon Harding, the owner. Mrs. Hyon always greets you like you are a welcome guest - not a dollar sign. She takes the time during each visit to personally visit each table to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and you are happy. And it is not just some token "drive by." You can tell she really does care and wants you to have a good experience. All of this beats truffle fries and Mac and cheese, rosemary mashed potatoes, and "locally foraged mushrooms" in my book and always will.

They did a phenomenal job creating such a magical atmosphere--I honestly wish they could keep the decorations up all year . While waiting for our table, we grabbed seats at the bar and ordered cocktails. I had the prickly pear margarita, and she ordered a cider sour. Both were fantastic, though I wish the bar had mentioned the holiday cocktail menu earlier. I didn't learn about the festive drinks until we were seated and our server, Lindsay, walked us through the winter specials. The "Sweater Weather" cocktail sounded amazing (white tequila and coconut milk ) and is definitely something I'll be back to try. We stuck with our go-to appetizer, the goat cheese bruschetta, which was delicious as always. For entrées, we went classic brunch: the hangover burger and the shrimp and grits. My girlfriend loved her burger, and Sedona's shrimp and grits remain one of my absolute favorites--perfectly seasoned and cooked. Even though we were full, we couldn't pass up the seasonal dessert, tiramisu. It was the perfect size--just enough to share without pushing us over the edge. Lol. Another successful meal at Sedona! The service is consistently top-notch, and our server Lindsay was hands down the best--knowledgeable, attentive, and with an amazing personality. We loved her so much, we wished she could've joined us for brunch. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which we really appreciated. If you haven't experienced Sedona yet, you are seriously missing out. And definitely ask to sit in Lindsay's section!

First, let's start off with the wait. I'm used to waiting for a table at Sedona especially on a Saturday, but today the wait was extra long. Once we sat and ordered appetizers it took over 40 minutes to get our apps. To make matters worse our nachos came out with the cheese not even melted and with barely any protein. Seeing as this was not the first time I ordered nachos I was extremely upset. To address the issue I had to leave my outside table and walk inside to the hostess to see if they could locate my server as she never came and checked on us. We didn't see her for over 50 minutes :-/ The only star of today's lunch were the Thai glazed wings. My husband ordered the land and sea and steak was overcooked. My devils pass pasta was okay, but extremely greasy. The manager did stop by to offer something for the nacho issue which we appreciated. Sedona you need to work on hiring more staff to make things run smoothly. You seem to be understaffed in the kitchen and on the floor. We left feeling extremely disappointed and will not be returning for a long time. Also forgot to add that the strawberry tres leches cake is extremely dense and flavorless. Did not enjoy and do not recommend.

We were seated promptly, no awkward hovering, and our waitress showed up friendly, sharp, and knowing her way around the menu--which is a quality that ought to be listed right next to "clean silverware." We started with the crab and corn chowder, and let me say this right now: the crab was not there for decoration. It announced itself. Big flavor, no apologies, the way crab chowder ought to be. Second round was the smoked salmon salad. Perfect. The salmon was excellent, but that tarragon caper dressing had a way of making you slow down and think about life choices. I would put that dressing on just about anything that didn't move fast enough. For the main event, I chose the scallops, and I am prepared to testify they were as good as any I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, sitting pretty with an aioli that knew its job and did it well. My wife ordered the beef medallions, and I'll admit this with humility: looking back, I may have chosen wrong. Those medallions were expertly prepared and packed with flavor, the kind that makes you reconsider your own plate. We finished with cheesecake and berries. The cheesecake did its part. The berries... well, not every inning is a home run. Fortunately, the wine stepped in like a good relief pitcher and made everything right again. Through it all, the service never slipped. We were treated the way folks ought to be treated when they go out to celebrate something that matters. And that, in my book, counts just as much as what's on the plate. I seriously did not expect a restaurant in Fredericksburg to meet our expectations. Service was spot on as well. The beef medallions were tender and cooked perfectly medium. The shrimp were unexceptional next to the medallions. The cauliflower and other veggies with a hint of basil were lovely. The scallops were tender and fresh --so rare these days that we rarely order them. We chose a bottle of wine instead of wine pairings and our server helped us navigate the extensive wine list. The Beaumes de Venise red was a great choice because we are not so fond of white wine. The pot de chocolat and creme brulee were a perfect ending to an outstanding meal.

Spinach dip and 2 'adult' drinks. I do have a few things that were a bit disappointing....I ordered their red sangria - to MY fault, I didn't specify what size...to our waitresses fault, she didn't ask yet brought me a tankard size glass(clearly the more expensive size). All foods, with the exception of dessert, came out really quickly. We had hardly touched the appetizer when r salads came and were about half way through those when the main course came. Table was loaded with dishes. Tried to finish up the salads before the steaks got cold. Again tho, food was good and cooked as ordered. Dessert took a bit longer to come out which was fine as we needed time to settle our stomachs. Overall a good experience, but we felt rushed and I definitely didn't need the tankard of sangria - a small size would have been plenty and honestly, it tasted like straight up fruit juice - no wine flavor at all. Hubs said his Jack & coke was good. We like Longhorn and will probably be back - we'll just be more mindful and definitely state what size of drinks we want. Also, and maybe it's just me or the waitress we had....while she was very friendly and accommodating, it felt like she was speaking to us as if we were toddlers. Kinda of a slow, sing-song voice and as if we couldn't comprehend what she was saying. I'd much rather be spoken to as the adults we are, instead of feeling like we're being spoken 'down' to.

Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. The fries were very good as well, but again, could have used a bit more of the seasoning for which they were named. My lunch companion got the Chinese Chicken Salad, which he like as well, though he commented that it was a little on the dry side and could have used more dressing.
