Great Filets and meal! Just passing though, we spent our first night ever in the area. Thursday night in August, and my wife loved walking around all the shops and restaurants. Lots of places to eat have good reviews but are empty. Then we get to F132 and every table is full and there's a line waiting! We had no reservation and got seated at the bar area in 5 min. Staff were all perfect. Oysters, wedge salad, (2) filet with 2 sides, and 3 drinks, and peanut butter pie dessert. $200 + $40 tip. Crystal commented twice how excellent the steak was, and we eat steaks in a lot of places. Highly recommend! read more

Fantastic! A "must try" and one we'll visit often. We're in the process of moving to Fburg and decided to have a nice dinner. I looked through Yelp and picked F132 as our first meal in the new town. Great choice! We didn't have a reservation, and it was Friday at 6pm, so we were placed on the bar seating wait list. We were seated in 20-25 minutes, which was super fast and great with us. Lesson learned for next time, make a reservation. But, if you choose or wind up at the bar, the service is great and seating is comfortable. The bartender was with us quickly and walked us through the Happy Hour specials. Drinks, apps, etc. they had a good variety of things in HH and many seemed interesting. But we were there for steak, so we let him know and he took our orders. In the meantime, he got us waters and bread service. While we waited, we watched the bar staff make some amazing concoctions including smoked old fashioneds, and all manner of flavors, textures, and mixtures. I don't really do cocktails but there were egg whites, chocolate sauce, fruits, mints and great presentations. They also were serving HH food and the Happy Dog looked filling: the truffle fries were served in what looked like multi-pound platters. I had the filet with French onion soup and corn salad. My wife had filet with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas. The bartender explained sides change frequently and are selected by what is available farm fresh. The corn salad was a sort of chilled street corn with some peppers and stuff. Very good and the corn was so fresh. French onion soup was delish! Absolutely perfect. Black eyed peas were great. I didn't try the mashed potatoes. The steak was the star. I don't know what's in their house rub, but it's perfect. And the steaks are cooked under an 1800 degree broiler so they get that perfect sear. Both were cooked at the perfect temperature. And the meat was trimmed so there was nothing but butter-tender beef. Let me be clear-THIS IS THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! The service was perfect. My glass never fell below 2/3 full, and we never were waiting on service, but it was non intrusive and really made the experience so much better. A++! My husband and I had a wonderful dinner while visiting during his FBI Academy graduation. We were promptly seated and provided our drink and food menus. I came here on a weeknight for dinner with a large group. Thankfully, we made a reservation ahead of time to have a special table set up for us. Our server, Megan, was amazingly friendly and professional, and was able to help guide us with our drink and dinner choices. I ended up choosing the fillet for my steak. Your steak comes with two side dishes. I opted for the garlic, mashed potatoes and a side Caesar salad. The steak was provided with a special rub that consisted of salt, pepper, garlic, and dehydrated molasses. I also got a pat of herb infused butter, which they melted with a torch right in front of me when they brought my steak out. They also provided me with a side of their chimichurri sauce. I ended up ordering my fillet medium, and for a steak like that, it was so tender and amazingly flavorful. My mind raced as to if this truly was the best steak I have had in my life. The succeeded every expectation I have for how could a steak could be. And it wasn't just me being hungry coming up with this review everyone else at the table was amazed at how everything was so delicious. Easily better than any steakhouse that I have been to back in my home area of Seattle. My group had a fantastic time and all of the staff here were so amazing and made us feel right at home with their hospitality. My girlfriends and I have made it a New Year's Eve tradition, booking our reservation a full year in advance, and every year it delivers. Oh my--what a meal! My partner made this reservation weeks in advance since they were fully booked on Friday, so we came on a Thursday. The interior is beautiful and upscale. We were seated in a booth that was a bit snug for three people, but we made it work. I started with the Peruvian Sol cocktail--tropical, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. We shared the escargot to start, which was fabulous--the sauce it came in was rich and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the shrimp and purple grits, which ended up being my favorite meal of our entire trip to Fredericksburg. We were only two times before tonight too. The first time was fantastic! The second time we were underwhelmed, so we also never returned. But my son wanted it for his birthday. Unfortunately tonight wasn't the greatest either. It wasn't completely terrible, but it just kinda left us feeling disappointed. My son and his girlfriend got the three course dinner for $140. They each got their choice of soup or salad (He got the Caesar salad, and his girlfriend got the French Onion soup), they split a tomahawk with the bone marrow butter ($3), they each got two sides (he got mashed potatoes and the cream kale, and she got the cream kale and mushrooms), and then a dessert to split (they went with the peanut butter pie). Fahrenheit is known for their steaks, and my son orders steaks everywhere, and is an expert on the steak temperatures. He's 31 years old, and an avid grill chef too. They ordered their steak mid rare, and it was very rare. They didn't complain, but it was very undercooked. They didn't want it thrown back on the grill, because he said that he'd rather have it undercooked than overcooked. Otherwise, I think they enjoyed the rest of their dinner. His girlfriend likes rare, so she enjoyed it. My husband and I ordered the surf and turf (to split) with the flank steak and the bone marrow butter ($3) and the lobster tail ($6 up charge for the lobster tail). It came with mashed potatoes, and then we paid a small up charge for the French onion soup as our second side ($3). We also ordered the apple spice empanadas for dessert. We ordered our steak medium well, and it came out rare. We did have them throw it back on the grill, and upon return, it was medium to medium well. But it was also very small. The lobster tail was overcooked and like rubber. I didn't complain; just ate it. The mashed potatoes weren't great. The French onion soup was fantastic as always, but the last couple of times that we were there I ordered it, because I love it so much, and it was encased in cheese. Tonight it just had a little square on top, but otherwise, it was still amazing! The apple spice empanadas were also excellent! Our total was $70.12 before tip. We all had water to drink. There is nothing else to be said, except to say that if you were looking for an amazing steak, you must go here. My husband said it is the best steak he has had since we've been in Japan and that is not a compliment to take lately. Not only was the steak, buttery and delicious, but all of the sides were phenomenal, from the spaghetti, squash, to the crawfish chowder, to the green beans, to the mashed potatoes, the dishes were outstanding! For this to be a newer restaurant, they sure have things clicking!! For starters the place is a little more casual than upscale but it still has an expensive feel to it... I tried the 30oz Australian Wagyu tomahawk steak(for 2 $130, comes with soup or salad, two sides and dessert). The steak was packed with flavor and has slipped its way into one of my top 8 best steaks. The mac and cheese was bland, the brussel sprouts weren't that good. The black eyed peas were givebackable, but the sautéed garlic green beans were delicious. The French onion soup was really good too. I've been coming here for months, so I'm surprised I haven't left a review yet. The food never misses, I'm partial to the grass fed hanger steak and filet personally, but you can't go wrong with either as long as it's paired with bone marrow butter. The service is incredible. This restaurant deserves to win best service in America. My best friend and I use Fredericksburg as a halfway point to meet up with each other. We loved our experience at Fahrenheit 132 so much that we want to meet up here again. I made us a reservation. We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than expected and they still seated us because they had room. Our waitress was incredible. When she asked if we were celebrating anything we commented about being old friends meeting up and she immediately understood that we had a lot of catching up. This is the first time in a long time that I haven't felt rushed at a restaurant. I wish I caught our waitress' name because she was incredible. She shared all the specials and gave us time to think about what we wanted and didn't rush our meal. We ordered half a dozen oysters, the shrimp cigars, a small wedge salad with hanger steak added, and two cocktails. I adored my le pear ouette cocktail. It was the "pear"fect amount of sweet. My friend ordered the enzoni and really enjoyed it. We did family style so we could try it all. The oysters we got were a bit salty for my taste, but my friend really liked them. I loved the shrimp cigars. They were fun, unique, and tasty. The hanger steak was cooked and seasoned wonderfully. We shared a delicious creme brulee to end our meal. Part of what amazed me with the service was not only the kind hosts and our waitress, but when you walk to the bathroom, you are smiled at and guided by several servers on your walk there. I was almost shy from all the hospitality. There are women and men restrooms. There were a few stalls inside the women's restroom. My friend and I had a true 5 star experience at Fahrenheit 132. Our party of four visited this restaurant on a recent Wednesday evening. Our reservations (yes, you need reservations) were at 6:30pm and the place was already full-up with people. We were seated quickly at a nice booth and our waiter for the evening promptly took care of us and did an excellent job throughout the evening. He fully explained the menu and described everything in magnificent style and detail. We opted for a starter of truffle fries. They were delicious and enough for all four of us. We tried a couple of the non-alcohol drinks, The Prohibition and The Lulu Lemonade, both quite nice. For the mains, three of us opted for the surf and turf meal and one opted for the ribeye. All of the steaks were cooked to perfection. I had the sirloin and it was very flavorful and juicy. For the surf, my salmon filet was tender and flaky, with a nice crust and wonderful taste, too. Sides of wedge salads, mushrooms and green beans rounded out the meals. One of our party had shrimp scampi as their surf option and another had the shrimp skewer. The scampi were HUGE! Overall, a very nice evening. The atmosphere felt intimate, even though the tables were full of guests.
