I've been to Fahrenheit 132 a handful of times and just realized I never left a review--and that's a crime. You truly can't go wrong choosing Fahrenheit, whether it's for a special occasion or an elevated night out. Just make sure you plan ahead, because a reservation is a must if you want a table. This is an upscale, get-dressed-up, enjoy-an-incredible-meal kind of place. My girlfriends and I have made it a New Year's Eve tradition, booking our reservation a full year in advance, and every year it delivers. Ringing in the new year with great company and outstanding food here is unbeatable. This year, my friend and I shared the three-course meal for two, featuring a tomahawk steak cooked absolutely to perfection. I added a side of bone marrow butter while she chose the sautéed onions--both were fantastic. We ordered Caesar salads, plus an extra appetizer of mussels, which were phenomenal. The broth alone was worth it. I also went with the flight of specialty drinks, which was a great choice. The service is always top-notch, and in my opinion, this is hands down the best steak you'll find anywhere in Fredericksburg. Already counting down to next year's reservation!

Absolutely everything here is perfect. It has a terrific vibe, lively but you can hear your friends talk. The service is so good, friendly but extremely professional. And the food - omg - is outstanding. I love that they pay as much attention to the sides as they do the main entree. I had the oysters (so fresh and perfect), the chopped salad (a meal on its own), and the most amazingly tender and juicy pork chop I have ever had. Lastly, the wine and drink list is spectacular- no wonder the bar is always busy. This place is a must do!!!!!!

What a cool place. Good drinks and good food, plus the service was excellent. We came for a special occasion and the staff was wonderful. Food is good but it's definitely a steak house so don't come expecting pasta. I got a bunch of sides and was very happy as truffle Mac and cheese is my happy place more than the meat. My husband got a small steak and it was great. One thing that shows I'm getting older - why do men wear baseball hats inside a fancy restaurant? I couldn't at least four at one point. For $100 dinner, act like you're not at Arby's.

My, My, My.... Now Fahrenheit 132 Steakhouse... "count your days," because me and my wife... are COMING BACK!!! Best Filet Mignon of Our Lives -- Easy: Talk about immaculate. Juicy. Tender. That Dry rub with the melted molasses situation was a literal chef's kiss. We'd come back just for that!!! No side or nothing. Just the steak. Oh my goodness. Service. Service was great. Our waitress was super nice and hospitable. She was very attentive and knew that menu like the back of her hand. Color me and my wife, impressed, the way she explained the way the food was prepared and served. We didn't know what to do lol, but we appreciated her knowledge and recommendations. Food. We ordered the Filet Mignon with Potatoes and Vegetable of the Day (Brussels Sprouts) along with the Grass-Fed Hanger Steak with Potatoes and Glazed Carrots. Now that Hanger Steak was pretty good too. And the garlic herb butter that they melted with a mini torch in front of us was next level. But the Filet Mignon took the prize for us that night. (And the award for Most Memorable' goes to... ) Although I did enjoy the glazed carrots and potatoes as well. We did order the Truffle Mac n Cheese but had to send it back because -- unfortunately -- it wasn't "hitting on nothing." But it's all good. The steak was the star of the show. My wife said her sides could've been better. Ambiance. Not bad. Kinda quaint in there. They definitely maximized all the space and it feels like a Texas steakhouse with some farm decor and bricks. Not bad though. Not at all. All that to say: WE. WILL. BE. COMING. BACK! thank you!!!!

Oh my--what a meal! My partner made this reservation weeks in advance since they were fully booked on Friday, so we came on a Thursday. The interior is beautiful and upscale. We were seated in a booth that was a bit snug for three people, but we made it work. I started with the Peruvian Sol cocktail--tropical, refreshing, and absolutely delicious. We shared the escargot to start, which was fabulous--the sauce it came in was rich and flavorful. For my entrée, I had the shrimp and purple grits, which ended up being my favorite meal of our entire trip to Fredericksburg. My partner's NY strip was perfectly cooked to a medium rare and packed with flavor, and my uncle enjoyed his salmon as well. We were too full for dessert, but this place is a must-visit. Our server was fantastic and had great recommendations. I'd absolutely prioritize coming back here!

We were only two times before tonight too. The first time was fantastic! The second time we were underwhelmed, so we also never returned. But my son wanted it for his birthday. Unfortunately tonight wasn't the greatest either. It wasn't completely terrible, but it just kinda left us feeling disappointed. My son and his girlfriend got the three course dinner for $140. They each got their choice of soup or salad (He got the Caesar salad, and his girlfriend got the French Onion soup), they split a tomahawk with the bone marrow butter ($3), they each got two sides (he got mashed potatoes and the cream kale, and she got the cream kale and mushrooms), and then a dessert to split (they went with the peanut butter pie). Fahrenheit is known for their steaks, and my son orders steaks everywhere, and is an expert on the steak temperatures. He's 31 years old, and an avid grill chef too. They ordered their steak mid rare, and it was very rare. They didn't complain, but it was very undercooked. They didn't want it thrown back on the grill, because he said that he'd rather have it undercooked than overcooked. Otherwise, I think they enjoyed the rest of their dinner. His girlfriend likes rare, so she enjoyed it. My husband and I ordered the surf and turf (to split) with the flank steak and the bone marrow butter ($3) and the lobster tail ($6 up charge for the lobster tail). It came with mashed potatoes, and then we paid a small up charge for the French onion soup as our second side ($3). We also ordered the apple spice empanadas for dessert. We ordered our steak medium well, and it came out rare. We did have them throw it back on the grill, and upon return, it was medium to medium well. But it was also very small. The lobster tail was overcooked and like rubber. I didn't complain; just ate it. The mashed potatoes weren't great. The French onion soup was fantastic as always, but the last couple of times that we were there I ordered it, because I love it so much, and it was encased in cheese. Tonight it just had a little square on top, but otherwise, it was still amazing! The apple spice empanadas were also excellent! Our total was $70.12 before tip. We all had water to drink. I could literally just go for the French Onion soup and any dessert, and feel happy!

Every thing was perfect about our meal. We did not have a reservation but got there 10 minutes after it opened still we had to sit at the bar. Did not matter our waiter was super nice and gave us great suggestions. I will will go back next time with a reservation.

Fries were not greasy which is perfect!

My first time here and the plan was to try the main entrees. We ended up just ordering off the HH menu which was fantastic! We opted to be seated at the bar and I was overly impressed with our bartender Cassandra. She was awesome; personable, professional and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks! Everything we ordered was amazing but I wish I could have ordered more items. Next time!

Food was excellent, drinks were fabulous. Dropping a star because our server was a tad pushy. Asking us about dessert while we were still eating, asking if we wanted another drink while ours were half full. Fine line between attentive and pushy. It killed the vibe a bit but the food made up for it!

Our favorite night out spot. One of the best restaurants around. We love going for a date night or a night out with friends. The steaks are always cooked to PERFECTION! But there are plenty of options for non steak lovers. The sides are to die for. We love the extensive drink menu. The staff is always amazing! Without a doubt our fav place around.

For this to be a newer restaurant, they sure have things clicking!! For starters the place is a little more casual than upscale but it still has an expensive feel to it... I tried the 30oz Australian Wagyu tomahawk steak(for 2 $130, comes with soup or salad, two sides and dessert). The steak was packed with flavor and has slipped its way into one of my top 8 best steaks. The mac and cheese was bland, the brussel sprouts weren't that good. The black eyed peas were givebackable, but the sautéed garlic green beans were delicious. The French onion soup was really good too. Our waitress was great a knowledgeable and very tentative to our needs. Can't wait to visit again!! Oh of course, the drinks, they were good as well.

Midweek could you take a casually dressed college student here for their 18th birthday? It is during orientation week during a pocket of time that isn't busy. I doubt he will have time to dress up and have dinner.

For sure, you will see some dressed casually and more formally.

Are they able to make the mashed potatoes without rosemary?

The staff is very accommodating, I'm sure if you asked for a substitute they would help.

What is the dress code? Weekend away and night out with the husband, don't want to be over dressed.…

I'd say casual and up. No jeans or t's.

    Good music and drink place?

Probably not the bar is nice and you can watch a game on TV but there doesn't look like music would work

A friend hit me up for happy hour on a Saturday night, and shockingly, I was home from work early enough to actually make it happen. Even more shocking? We chose Cheeky's, and I couldn't have been happier. The last time I was here was back when it was Casey's and Cheeky's was just launching, so I was excited to see how it had evolved. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was giving elegant, cozy, and intimate. Soft lighting, relaxed energy--basically the kind of place that gently tells you to sit down, sip a cocktail, and forget about your responsibilities. My friends had already ordered and kindly let us sample their food. I can't remember exactly what it was (possibly drunken noodles? Possibly magic?), but whatever it was, it was delicious. Since we didn't want to copy their order, my boyfriend and I went with the duck fries, duck wings, and fried beef tips with rice. Let me start with the fries because...wow. Skinny fries tossed in garlic, what tasted like truffle, and cooked in duck fat. Honestly? Some of the best fries I've had in a long time. I would come back just for those. My boyfriend loved the duck wings, which were generously coated in mumbo sauce. A little too saucy for me (I prefer my wings slightly less...bathed), but the flavor was solid and the portion was more than fair. My fried beef tips were everything--perfect crunch, just the right amount of sauce, and packed with flavor. A true masterpiece that really showcased Asian-inspired cuisine at its best. I also ordered the hibiscus lemon drop, which was so good I considered ordering a second (and did). That said, it was a bit overpriced for the size--but still tasty enough to make me forgive it. Overall, Cheeky's is super chic, serves delicious cocktails, and delivers flavorful, creative food. If you're looking for a food adventure or something a little out of the norm, I 100% recommend stopping by for an evening. My only complaint? I still dream about the pork katsu sandwich they had back in the Casey's days--served with homemade wonton chips. I think about that sandwich more often than I'd like to admit. Please...bring it back.

When I explained this was my first visit, they explained the Curio concept, the various areas for sitting, sipping and gathering as well as the Curio Card process. They even had a small but really intriguing menu of various snacks, from charcuterie to flatbread and even dessert. The menu changes a couple times a month, making me want to plan more visits! Tried to order three different beers, and every one of them was "not available today," which is restaurant talk for "the truck's late and so are we." Artie the bartender just gave this little shoulder shrug that said, "Partner, I don't make the rules, I just open the bottles." The place itself helped the afternoon along. The building is laid out so you can see just about everything from your stool: bar, tables, who's coming in the door, and whether your food is on its way. Sightlines were wide open, nothing cluttered or cramped, and the whole joint looked super clean, like somebody actually cares what it looks like before the crowd shows up. So we did what any sensible, thirsty people would do: picked two other beers, ordered some apps, and decided not to take life--or the tap list--too seriously. The beer we got was cold, the food was hot, and Artie turned out to be the kind of bartender you come back to see more than you come back for the menu. We'll be back, too. Lewis would've gotten a whole column out of that shrug. The food was excellent, too. The fish bites alone just about made the afternoon; if the beer list had completely fallen apart, we still would've called it a win on those.

Since learning that, we have made our own oyster tradition and seek to have them in January because it can't hurt! I saw that Port Oysteria was participating in FXBG restaurant week which is happening now and thought it was a great opportunity for us to try someplace new and get our oysters. While we did not order anything from the restaurant week specials (there was only one at lunch, and a couple more after 3pm) my wife and I did enjoy a nice lunch today. The chargrilled oysters were just right for us to share as a starter and very tasty. My wife had the fried oyster po-boy and I had the blackened grouper sandwich; both were delicious. The coleslaw was good as was the Parmesan mashed potatoes. There is a good beer selection on tap and an interesting cocktail list. Our first beer choice was out, but our backup choices were good. Service was good but the restaurant was not very busy. The atmosphere is interesting with moody, dark painted walls and bold murals and a mix of '90s grunge and alt-pop music in the background. We definitely want to go back for dinner sometime and try more of the menu.

We made reservations for Kat's birthday, which already put us ahead of the crowd and, as it turned…read moreout, in good hands. We were seated promptly, no awkward hovering, and our waitress showed up friendly, sharp, and knowing her way around the menu--which is a quality that ought to be listed right next to "clean silverware." We started with the crab and corn chowder, and let me say this right now: the crab was not there for decoration. It announced itself. Big flavor, no apologies, the way crab chowder ought to be. Second round was the smoked salmon salad. Perfect. The salmon was excellent, but that tarragon caper dressing had a way of making you slow down and think about life choices. I would put that dressing on just about anything that didn't move fast enough. For the main event, I chose the scallops, and I am prepared to testify they were as good as any I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, sitting pretty with an aioli that knew its job and did it well. My wife ordered the beef medallions, and I'll admit this with humility: looking back, I may have chosen wrong. Those medallions were expertly prepared and packed with flavor, the kind that makes you reconsider your own plate. We finished with cheesecake and berries. The cheesecake did its part. The berries... well, not every inning is a home run. Fortunately, the wine stepped in like a good relief pitcher and made everything right again. Through it all, the service never slipped. We were treated the way folks ought to be treated when they go out to celebrate something that matters. And that, in my book, counts just as much as what's on the plate. Sorry for the lack of pictures the food and wine kept my attention

I seriously did not expect a restaurant in Fredericksburg to meet our expectations. Service was spot on as well. The beef medallions were tender and cooked perfectly medium. The shrimp were unexceptional next to the medallions. The cauliflower and other veggies with a hint of basil were lovely. The scallops were tender and fresh --so rare these days that we rarely order them. We chose a bottle of wine instead of wine pairings and our server helped us navigate the extensive wine list. The Beaumes de Venise red was a great choice because we are not so fond of white wine. The pot de chocolat and creme brulee were a perfect ending to an outstanding meal.
