Oh my, why have we waited SO long to have breakfast at "First Watch!" We arrived a bit after 9:00am on a Sunday morning and the place was hopping, they were REAL busy but the table were "turning" fast. Diners were not lingering too long and freeing up the tables. After being greeted warmingly by our server, she took our drink orders and asked if we had any questions about the menu. We explained this was our first visit. She went over the menu with us and made some recommendations. What incredible customer service! My wife decided on the steel cut oatmeal breakfast and I decided on a blueberry multi-grain pancake, a side of bacon and two eggs over-easy. As we were enjoying the wonderful coffee, we had a great time watching all the orders being delivered to the tables around us. We kept talking to each other, we must try that and we must try that! After a short wait, our "picture perfect" breakfast entrees were delivered to our table. Our food was wonderful. Our server took excellent care of us while we were there and we never lacked for anything. We always had a hot cup of coffee to enjoy with our meal. What a cute and healthy place to eat. I had never been here so I cane in with a great friend and we had a ball. I had the French toast. Bacon, and eggs. Amazing. Cindy suggested and she was our waitress. She did really good at telling us how to order it for the best bang for our buck. Her customer service was great I was very happy that they kept the coffee jug at our table because I went through it like crazy. The manager came by and laughed with us for a second and I always love that. Check on your people. If you're a healthy eater this is a good place for you. If not...its some good stuff on there for you too. Like the French toast. Ask for suggestions. Wow!! Love the food! The lemon ricotta pancakes are my absolute favorite breakfast food now!!! Other pancakes are tasty as well but that lemon ricotta... I will be back soon, found one closer to my house hopefully food is the same. I'll let y'all know, I have 5 more reviews from this week but this taste of Texas needed an expedient review. This was our first time At this location. We were very pleased. The wait was short, is all about timing on a Sunday morning. Get there before 10 and usually the wait is no More than a few minutes. The service was very good and the dood was great. Hubby ordered the Trifecta eggs sausage and Belgian waffle. Said it was delicious. I believed him when there was nothing remaining on his plate. First Watch is the chain that never feels like a chain. The food is fresh, healthy, and tasty. The service is fast and personable. And the atmosphere is cheerful and open. The first time I came to a First Watch, I really thought is was a one-off. The concept is so progressive and well pulled off it just didn't seem like a corporate-conceived package. We frequent this chain more than any other and i never grow tired of it. She likes the Kale Tonic and other juices. I typically order an omelette or a Frittata. She gets the Frittata Rustica modified to include no dairy (for allergy reasons). Coffee flows freely and is rich and satisfying. We have nothing but positive things to say about First Watch. This is the best place in town for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and it's always clean. If you stop here to on a Sunday be prepared to wait but it's worth it! We love their fresh made juices, the morning meditation being our favorite but they are all good. My husband is a huge fan of the skillets and omelets. While I haven't found anything I don't like on the menu. My recent favorites being the banana granola pancakes and the avocado toast. My only complaint is that I am a hot tea drinker. The past few visits the hot water tastes like coffee which I have been told repeatedly by the staff that no one should be using the hot water pitchers for coffee. However as we sat down to eat today we were offered coffee out of one of the hot water pitchers. So now I just request a cup of hot water in a mug and skip the pitcher. I know it's a pain for the waitstaff so I tip extra I just can't stand the taste of coffee. Can't wait to return again. read more

I said I can't go in and I selected delivery so the guy said he would take care of it but to make sure I select delivery next time.(even though I did this time) I called again at 9am and was told that it is a pickup order and it had been sitting since 7:45am and they could offer a refund then they asked for pictures showing it was delivery. My food wasn't great, the cheesy grits weren't very cheesy at all and I wasn't a big fan of the gravy because it didn't seem very flavorful for me. I also got a hot chocolate and while the presentation was nice it was made with water which is always a disappointment. I will be giving this restaurant a second chance though because I was able to walk in on a Saturday morning and get sat with no wait and any breakfast place that serves turkey sausage deserves another try. I've been to a First Watch at a different location and wanted to take my family from out of town to try it out. The service was good but the food was sorry this visit. I was embarrassed recommending this place. The seasoned potatoes were a bit raw along with the onions. It wasn't warm and crispy. The eggs benedict were cooked "differently" than what we were use to on an eggs benedict. The yolk was pouched fully so we didn't get to experience the #YolkPorn. We had two different orders and one benedict had prefect crispy ciabatta bread and the other one was cold and soggy. Had placed a take out order to bring home to those that didn't wake up on time and the pancakes were still raw in the middle. When we were at the restaurant, they tried to make it right for us by giving us gift card for next visit. This location DOES HAVE the ability to add your name to the waitlist from Yelp. Just make sure to check in when you arrive :) It's a cute restaurant, about medium sized. Has several tables. Most of them are for 2-4 people. They do have several booths. It can feel a little bit claustrophobic, especially when they are busy. They were packed when we got there around noon. PRICE/SERVICE They do have servers, that come and take your order and bring out your food. Overall the price and the service was great. The only thing that was annoying is, my friend is DEATHLY allergic to pineapples. (She has to carry an epi-pen in case she comes in contact with one). She asked for them to switch out the fruit for the veggies. Instead they left the fruit and switched out the other side for veggies. I don't know if it was a back of house error, or a server error. But I feel like that is something pretty serious that they should be more careful with. (It was an adult this time, but if it was a child?)
