We got there right before the big crowd and the food was really delicious and very quick to come out I had got the biscuit and gravy with seasoned potatoes and scrambled eggs the kids both got pancakes and bacon which they had no problem eating. Service was good, food was very good, and the iced mint mocha was incredible. Seating was not the most comfortable but that's the only non-positive thing I can say. I've already gone back for a second coffee since my first visit read more

Rude Staff, Especially Stacy Hands down one of the worst breakfast spots I've ever been to. The servers were rude across the board, but Stacy at the front took the cake--passive aggressive, cold, and acted like we were a burden just for walking in. Zero warmth, zero professionalism. Definitely the best brunch experience in Destin. The food is incredible, with lots of lighter healthier options than some of the other brunch spots in town. The service the last couple times has been stellar as well, I had a great server named Chase, and I will be requesting him going forward! Super quick on the coffee refills, which are a must, and great food recommendations! read more

It was good, though reviews, menu, etc. had raised expectations too high. Also, by Oct. 26, they were all out of their October specials we had read about online, so had to recalibrate for regular menu. I had the trifecta w/French toast & scrambled eggs ("good"), bacon (perfect) & warm berry compote (very good). For instance, the French toast was fine but the "custard" batter description conjured images of a thicker dip vs. the very light touch batter it turned out to be. They had English breakfast tea in stock & bring you two packets (bonus points, but for $3.39 that's already several hundred percent markup) Wife's bacon avocado omelette ("Bacado") & coffee also termed "good" though she hates when spinach leaves are mixed into lettuce in the greenery on the plate, so she took a few points off for having to pick that out. Haha. read more

We stopped here on our way home from the beach. We have a First Watch in Georgia that we love, so we knew we'd enjoy the food. I was glad to see so many precautions being in place for social distancing and mask wearing. (Refreshing after a week in Destin seeing very little of either.) I had the Belgian waffle and my husband got the lemon ricotta pancakes. Our food arrived quickly, was fresh and hot, and tasted delicious! The service was also good. Definitely a place I would recommend to others! read more

They are a bunch of lying asses. Our party arrived and check-in with the hostess and they said it would be an Hour to an hour and half wait and we had no problem waiting. after an hour and 40 mins past we went check with the host and they said another hour or more, but yet as we sat there and waited people flowed out the door and no party were entering. all and all the run a shitty operation, and are all about making a dollar, sad case if you ask me read more

First time eating at First Watch and it was great. Wife wanted breakfast (BLT/Eggs Benedict) and I favored lunch (Roast beef/havarti/sourdough) and both left happy. Best part was waitress Christine taking great care of us. She's the best! read more

We usually seek out first watch when we travel and have a pretty decent experience every time. Unfortunately this location was not the usual pleasant experience. Our waitress was immediately rude. As I was placing my order of eggs I started to ask if I could get them without onions. She cut me off and abruptly asked how I wanted my eggs. I was kind of shocked but answered her. She still ignored my attempts and asked her next question. Eventually I was able to sneak in my request to hold the onions haha. Sadly after all that, my eggs came out slimy and undercooked. So even after all her persistence of how I wanted them, they came out wrong. Oh well. read more

Me and my family went there for an early breakfast. We had five entrées all came out of different times and one of them was messed up. The service was slow. The food is nothing special. It was very bland not again. only the avocado toast was worth it. read more

First watch is a favorite of ours wherever we go. This location is no exception - great food and great service.

Amazing place for breakfast! Come early and beat the crowd. Leave full and enjoy the beach! Great family environment.

I love the clean organic style menu, they recently added alcoholic beverages and I feel that really makes the brunch with their selections! You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu! The design inside is really nice and the staff are all super friendly! read more

Honestly, the food was so delicious. We loved the environment. The service was good, not great and it's off season here so I'm not sure why that is but we would definitely go again for the variety on the menu. They do have a kids menu as well! And the French toast for them is big portions! Give it a try! read more

First Watch was such a disappointment. The service here was terrible. We waited 20 minutes at our table before going back to the hostess to ask what was going on. She told us that our waitress was in the back not feeling well. Another waitress was then sent to our table to wait on us. She took our drink and food order right away. We waited though 30 minutes before water was brought to our table and then another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. I didn't understand why everything took so long once we ordered since the restaurant wasn't busy during this time. The food was also disappointing. Only the bacon and toast in my traditional breakfast was good. The scrambled eggs were dry and most of the potatoes were too hard to eat. My husband ordered a side of bacon, potatoes, and turkey sausage. His potatoes were also hard and the sausage wasn't good. This was upsetting since we had waited so long for our food to arrive. Because of this experience, we will not be back to this location. read more

Nice spot for breakfast/brunch/lunch. We went for 11:15 and there was no wait. Tables are spaced out and they have this one spot for people to sit together called the community table to meet new people. Thought that was a cute choice to have within the room. The ambiance is very open and seems to be fairly clean. Our waitress seemed to be frustrated so our service wasn't the best. Our food was good, but the star of the meal was the mint chocolate chip cold brew. The veggie sandwich had great flavor but a lot of soft textures. The honey pecan salad was interesting. It had a warm dressing which gave the salad more of a heavy feeling instead of a light and crisp feeling of a salad. The salmon eggs benedict was good but not great. Overall, this is a good place to try out when on vacation or passing through Destin, Florida. We will be going back to try something else on the menu. read more

We just had our first breakfast in Destin at this fantastic restaurant. I never get my hopes up too high with breakfast as it's usually so heavy with predictable flavors. Although not in a glamorous location, this place offered a high end experience with ingredients, flavors, options and stellar service. Keke was our server and she did everything right. Attentive but not overbearing and she was also able to banter with my sarcastic husband. A perfect way to start our 30th anniversary! Thank you! read more

First Watch has become our "go to" breakfast spot in Destin, we have our favorite orders and mostly use the take out services. We live nearby but have eaten at the restaurant twice and I really like the layout and vibe of the space, always seems pretty busy but never overwhelmed. Service is fast and efficient, great coffee, my go to are the breakfeast tacos served with black beans, my wife goes for the elevated sandwich with potatoes, both are wonderful, delicious and spot on everytime we order. This will continue to be a favorite for us and we highly recommend. read more

We visit this place almost weekly. Last couple of visits have been very disappointing. Food quality has decreased significantly. I don't see the manager we used to see, so new management is definitely spiraled downhill. Last visit our food was lost (we could hear the server asking the kitchen where one of the dishes was). First set of pancakes were burnt. Sent back and second set was cold. Potatoes were half cooked and not crisp at all. Toast was so cold the butter was caked on top. Hopefully management turns this around. This place used to be excellent- now it is average. I guess the tourists will still come. But guess what - tourist season is over so you should strive to make the locals happy. read more

First watch has so much to offer! From there menu down to their customer service, they have perfected brunch. Our waitress was so sweet and accommodating. I will say, the pictures on yelp really doesn't do the menu justice. I ordered the biscuits and turkey sausage with scrambled eggs and their house potatoes. My boyfriend ordered their traditional breakfast platter with toast, turkey sausage, eggs and the house potatoes. We shared the Floridian French toast, which was to die for. Let me just say, everything so go fresh. That's such a overlooked quality in most breakfast places, but I'm glad to see that's not the case for First Watch. If I wasn't a tourist, this would be a frequent brunch spot for me, for sure! read more

Overpriced average food. I liked that they sat you down with a carafe of coffee and had good service but the food was average at best. Potatoes were burnt and undercooked, the ham was dry and they don't have butter. NO BUTTER at all! Even at request. Margerine only in the whole restaurant. I was told this change was made when "corporate" took over. My wife can't eat margarine so we ended up just ordering her a side of bacon, poached eggs and fruit. Destin has much better to offer than this place. read more

We loved it! Breakfast was beyond anything we expected. Service was wonderful, and the building was adorable. Definitely a great experience!

Food is fabulous and they have the best Mimosas in Destin BUT...they rush you to turn the table! Felt horribly pushed to hurry from the moment we sat down. They will not clear your dirty dishes off until you actually leave. They don't want you to enjoy that coffee or second mimosa. Waitress was rude when we asked for dishes to be cleared. read more

I just have to say the manager here with curly dark hair is an absolute rockstar, the last few times I have been in it's been pretty busy and chaotic; and she not only is holding everything together but she's providing amazing customer service whiles she's at it. I could see how busy things were and I felt bad asking for something small my server forgot and she was so gracious and took care of it with such a positive attitude. I don't know who her supervisor is but please give her recognition as her service has been the standout of our experience the last few times read more

Everything was good, would definitely visit again. Had a little wait but I expected that but we were seated in a timely manner.
