My wife and my son got their favorite choice of gelato flavors. I went with Blood Orange and Mango sorbetto flavors. Their gelato and sorbetto are homemade. Their ice cream is provided by Blue Bell. The gelato and sorbetto flavors were good. I liked my choice of Blood Orange. It was refreshing and delicious. The Mango flavor was good as well. We had a good experience here. Last, this place still has ice cream so if you've got a super sweet tooth you won't be disappointed. My favorite was the strawberry topped Doughcho, their take on a donut nacho. Great donuts, not-so-great business message. Coming from Texas it was dissapointing to see how almost no business was enforcing the use of protective masks. When we went to Destination Little Donuts there was a message on the door about masks "not being" required. Really? When I read that I am being told "no mask? No worries! Please come on in even though we're in a world wide pandemic". I understand not wanting to enforce anything on the customers as to not drive them away, even more so when operating in such a complicated area of FL. What I don't understand is the contradicting message, let alone the lack of preventive measure enforcement. I think a better message would have been "The use of mask is recommended", even though I am absolutely against that message. My favorite of the three that we tried was probably the maple bacon. That should not be a shocker. I mean, c'mon, who doesn't like bacon? They are little cake donuts. My wife and I split the three donuts. With a variety of flavor and the amount of sweetness contained within, splitting three with her was plenty for us to get a good sampling. If you are going to buy a dozen, it could get expensive. Destination Little Donuts is located in an outdoor mall area close to Bass Pro Shop. Our visit was time perfectly and the parking lot was not overly crowded. However, I could see parking here being a nightmare if you hit it at the wrong time. Bottom line - Uniquely flavored cake donuts. A little on the small side but that enables you to get a greater variety and try more flavors. Parking during peak tourist season may be a problem. You pick what you want and they will make it fresh right there, right then. 3. Not just donuts. You can get breakfast sandwiches here....but no Thomas muffin or bagel, the donuts are your buns! One word of caution is the Yelp map function takes you to the grocery store on the other side of the shopping plaza, so head a little west to the other side to find this hidden jem. The staff are super friendly and there are a ton of choices and flavors to choose and it honestly can be a challenge as they all look great. I ordered two - cinnamon bun and a chocolate and they both were very good. The donuts are the more heavy cake, rather than a light and fluffy version, so they can be very filling. They have their donut options on display and you are given an order form where you fill out how many of each donut you would like. Then you can actually watch the employees put all of the toppings on your donuts right in front of you! I loved seeing the art behind it! The staff was incredibly friendly and patiently answered all of our questions. I heard them mention that on some days they have gluten friendly options, so if you have a gluten sensitivity it's worth calling to see if they are offering and options on that particular day. We ordered way more than we should have but we just couldn't help ourselves! My favorite was the Raspberry one because I just love a good raspberry filling. We also ordered a vanilla latte and caramel latte. They were good, but I think maybe just a little too sweet. I totally recommend checking this place out! If your looking for pre-made doughnuts such as Krispy Kreme or Dunkin then this is not the place for you. All the doughnuts are made fresh and you can choose your toppings. They do have some suggested doughnuts that you can go by or you can create your own.
