Like... immediate silence once we started eating. We also grabbed a slice of the 15-layer chocolate cake (layers of cake, chocolate ganache, and chocolate mousse) and it was straight-up fantastic. Even the bottled drinks were great--I had a sparkling pink grapefruit drink that was really good. My husband previously had the carrot cake bread pudding and still talks about it like it changed his life. Everything... and I mean EVERYTHING we tasted was nothing short of amazing. We literally went back 20 minutes later to grab something to bring to my mother-in-love who lives in another state. That's how serious it was. They also have a few celebratory alcoholic beverages if you're grabbing items for a party, event, or special occasion. And they make beautiful baked goods for events too, so definitely check them out if you've got something coming up. Lady Ray's also offers tea parties! You do need to book in advance, but the setup was so intimate, elegant, and cute. I didn't take a photo of the party while it was happening, but I was genuinely impressed. Such a fun idea for a girlfriends' outing. And Lady Ray herself? Absolutely beautiful, both inside and out. Her friendly demeanor, great sense of humor, and service-oriented heart make you want to come back again and again. If you're anywhere near Lady Ray's, I highly recommend stopping by.
