I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I specifically called to place an order over the phone because the online system doesn't allow you to deselect meat, and we are Jewish and do not eat meat. I clearly explained this to the representative and emphasized that we needed the order without meat, especially no bacon. I also mentioned the order was to-go. I picked up the food and brought it home, only to find that both sandwiches had bacon on them. I tried calling back at 1:58 PM, but no one answered. Sadly, we had to throw the food away--it's completely unacceptable and a waste. I'm requesting a full refund. So here goes I ordered gluten friendly pancakes Yes I understand Gluten friendly is not GF . I can order gluten friendly meals without issues . And even minor x contamination I can deal with . Not the case here , I was served regular pancakes I know because the only time I would have the violent reaction I had would be a gross gluten ingestion such as this . This can only be from server/ meal prep error where no regard to the basic GF precautions were not adhered to (mark the food gf or noting GF properly) Since this happened I would not recommend this cafe at all. The food tasted great although the traditional breakfast left me still feeling a little hungry. Our chewing gum smacking waitress, Lauren maybe, was very cold and unfriendly and clearly acted like she resented being there. I was embarrassed because we were entertaining my sister and her husband. It made what should have been a pleasant experience uncomfortable. Glad we got here early because it looks like there's about 30 to 45 minute wait if you get here after 9 AM. The menu is very cool and extensive. Lots of specialty breakfast from traditional breakfast to lobster brie omelettes! They also serve beignets! If you've never had a beignet, I'd recommend it. Our server, Courtney, was very attentive and very friendly. Ask for her section if you can. She made sure our coffee cups were always full and our water cups as well.
