I couldn't recommend this place more. They're very very busy so do book a reservation in advance so you get priority or else you'll be waiting outside for likely over an hour. The food was so awesome and the best I've had over my vacation here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is very packed and loud but honestly, the food makes it worth it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Country Power Bowl--9/10; only crumbs were left after I devoured this dish. It was so good I'm not docking points for the inedible bacon. The bacon was hard and flavorless, an utter disappointment. Another Broken Egg is another great breakfast spot. If your looking for a good breakfast with fresh taste I recommend coming in here. Service is quick and friendly. Came in on a cold day after Christmas. Plenty of seating but also used the waitlist but didn't need too. I don't understand the negative reviews for this brunch spot as it was pretty good. We sat in the booths near the bar. The staff is super kind, lots of good options on the menu, and food is tasty. The wait was a bit long to receive the food even though they weren't too busy otherwise five stars. A.B.E. on Legendary Dr. - 2023 edition. Sigh. Fortunately, food was back up to par so I've raised them to a 3, but once again, out of hot tea (& even iced tea) options this morning. I shouldn't complain. I mean, it saved me $4(!) to get water but the owner can't be too happy since they''re charging $4 for a 20-cent tea bag & some hot water. I'd send someone to Publix for a box of teabags to keep getting that kind of markup! At least they had crabmeat for wife's Floridian Omelette this year & my Bourbon St. Belgian waffle (nee' "bananas foster) was good. I ventured to do eggs over easy & ham for a change. Fine but I'll go back to scrambled & bacon if we return. Almost empty at 7:30. Guess late October is into off-season.

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I specifically called to place an order over the phone because the online system doesn't allow you to deselect meat, and we are Jewish and do not eat meat. I clearly explained this to the representative and emphasized that we needed the order without meat, especially no bacon. I also mentioned the order was to-go. I picked up the food and brought it home, only to find that both sandwiches had bacon on them. I tried calling back at 1:58 PM, but no one answered. Sadly, we had to throw the food away--it's completely unacceptable and a waste. I'm requesting a full refund. This kind of mistake is not just inconvenient, it's incredibly disrespectful to customers' dietary restrictions.

The BEST brunch I've had in Florida so far. My bartender was beyond friendly and welcoming! She provided fast and amazing service. After having the most disappointing brunch at a different establishment yesteray this experience was the stark opposite. The food tasted wonderful and again I cannot speak higher of the service. Cannot wait to come back in the future! I ordered an espresso martini and while they didn't have them on their menu my bartender (Que, I apologize if I'm butchering the spelling of her name) went out of her way to make me one which tasted amazing. Their crabcake Benedict was the best Benedict I've had while on my vacation. Definitely come here for brunch if you're looking for tasty food and wonderful service!

I have never gotten anything here that did not taste good, but all I ever eat here is breakfast - and only when we go to Florida. The staff is always very friendly and the service is always good. I usually get the Bourbon Street pancakes or an omelet. I have had the sunrise spinach scrambler, and the supreme omelette. All were delicious. We ate here three times in one week back in February and once in April. read more

What a wonderful experience at Another Broken Egg today! Daniel provided me with outstanding service. I was sitting in someone else's section and she noticed I hadn't been waited on yet. She came over to me, introduced herself and took my order. My drink was delivered promptly and afterwards she checked on me before bringing my food. The food took no time at all, meaning there wasn't a real reason for her to check in with me other than "she cared". The food was awesome as always! First of all, the ambiance of Another Broken Egg Cafe is very inviting, invoking the senses with an organic modern vibe. The floor manager greeted us with a warm welcome and a smile when we arrived and also checked on us several times during our dining experience. All of the staff seemed pleasant, and happy to be there. We visited the restaurant 2 days in a row for breakfast, the food was that good! Our server was Alethea, she was pleasant efficient, and very accommodating. The chef was able to adapt selections on the menu to suit my gluten and dairy free diet. The omlets and the scrambles, as well as the Eggs Benedict selections were outstanding and cooked to perfection! Very original and fresh menu. Cannot think of one negative aspect of our visit. I noticed one previous reviewer stating that the vent in the woman's bathroom was dirty, we did not find that to be so. Everything appeared fresh and clean (I added a photo showing the bathroom vent). On the sum, I would recommend Another Broken Egg Cafe to anyone wanting to start their day with a truly delicious meal and a warm smile, which both in my opinion count as a welcoming start to any day! read more

AMAZING!!! We had a quick girls relax/reset weekend and on the way to the airport we stopped here. They had a wait but fortunately for us the bar was empty and open!! Keri was our attendant. She was great. We started with strawberry mimosas. They make delicious crafted drinks. They infused their own vodka and mimosa mixtures. That definitely got them brownie points from me. Cheers! The menu has appealing options that make your mouth waster. I ordered the fried green tomatoes & crab with remoulade sauce. IT WAS THE REMOULADE FOR ME that made this dish exceptional. You could tell the sauce was freshly made. It was definitely party going on in my mouth. Lol. There was also a salad mixture on the side which was perfect for me since I'm cutting back bread and Potatoes. My bestie had some kind of breakfast bowl that had andouille sausage, egg, cheese and potatoes. It was good but not better than mines. Sorry Can. Lol. This place is a chain. Some privately owned. So look them up in your area or while traveling. Unfortunately, I don't think they have any in the DMV area. So I'll have to hit the road and check them out again. Enjoy! read more

Easily the best dining experience that I have had in the week that we have been here in Destin. Catie was an amazing server. She is super friendly, got every order right, and made sure that we were taken care of. The food was amazing. I had the best omelette that I have ever had. Their biscuits and gravy is also awesome. Love love love love love. Not sure what else to say - but here goes: Everything here is superb. Best Bloody Mary (Tito's) anywhere - they even put bacon in the cup. Try the biscuit beignets with honey marmalade. And the lobster and brie omelette with champagne butter sauce. And the crab cake Benedict. This is our 2nd visit here this week. We love Destin and we love Another Broken Egg! Friendliest wait staff, great food and tea in a unique industrial style atmosphere. The waffles are perfectly crunchy in the right places and the pancakes float off the plate. Generous portions on everything. The BLT has layers of crisp crunchy bacon. The friendly southern hospitality is real as you can hear it extend back to the kitchen. We love it here, all except the grits. Still can't get me to eat any grits. If you're in Destin and want a great breakfast, this is it. I recommend getting a reservation. We came in a weekday and it wasn't too busy but they are on Open Table. Cute decor and it is a small space. Great service from a very friendly waitress. They serve mimosas which is what I want on vacation for breakfast! The waitress brought us a sample of the beignet biscuits. They are to die for!!! Food came quickly to our table and was fresh and cooked perfectly. Lots to choose from. Four of us had breakfast here this morning, 10/20/24. We we seated on the patio to the left as you went outside from the restaurant. The food tasted great although the traditional breakfast left me still feeling a little hungry. Our chewing gum smacking waitress, Lauren maybe, was very cold and unfriendly and clearly acted like she resented being there. I was embarrassed because we were entertaining my sister and her husband. It made what should have been a pleasant experience uncomfortable. I would be very surprised if we are the only customers that have complained about this woman. I will not be bringing people back. read more

Terrible wait for our waitress. She thought the order was in but she never did. My mom didn't get toast and got hollandaise when she asked for it off. My eggs were cold and watery. We got a side of fruit and grapes were the only fruit and were brown, broken open, and had stems on them still. If you're from out of town like we were, don't go here read more

Eat brunch here! Not too long of a wait and understandable due to current issues. Went on a Saturday about noon. Server was friendly and attentive. The salmon eggs Benedict is spot on! Loved the capers on it. The eggs were cooked perfectly. Served on a bagel. Best I ever had. It comes with grits and I got them loaded with tomatoes and bacon and scallions. Very delish. I had some sort of cold brew coffee which was great. Not too bitter or sweet. Hubby had eggs with sausage and potatoes. He loved the sausage which is made in house. He said eggs were just plain and potatoes where just frozen potatoes which had no seasoning. read more

What a joke on November 7, 2021, we called to see if we could join the wait list. Whoever answered the phone said let me transfer you to the hostess. The next person said hold on just a minute, after holding for over 5 minutes the call drops as we are crossing the Midbay Bridge so we called back. The next person says we don't accept waitlist calls, please go to Yelp. We join the waitlist on Yelp indicating we are second in line and the wait will be about 10 minutes. A few minutes later we arrive at the restaurant to confirm our reservation only to be told the wait will be about 30-40 minutes. I ask why did I receive a confirmation indicating different information, only to be told "I don't know why we use Yelp... they have no idea what our wait times are". I'm like no **it. What a freaking run around it's as if your system is designed to irritate. Just another example of a subpar restaurant able to keep its doors open because of an endless supply of first time patrons/tourists. I suggest going to First Watch just across the street you can Google them and join a real waitlist. read more

From all the other reviews, I am sure the food is good. The service is why I rated it so low. When we arrived we were told the wait was 45 minutes. We returned to the hostess after 40 minutes and were told it would be at least another hour. We could have gone somewhere else if they had been honest. They told us that anyone that calls in to put their name on the list gets put ahead of the people that are there when they show up. read more

The hostesses act like they are doing you a favor. No greeting. No smile. No nothing. Only sweetener is the pink stuff and the blue stuff. Food took too long and was not hot and the place s 15% full. No check back to see how the food was. My wife got her toast after she was almost finished. Had to go to the hostess stand to get the check. No thank you for coming. They had plenty of help so no excuse about not getting enough help. No one is trained beyond standards that are even below minimum. Everyone reading this; go somewhere else. We went on Mother's Day and I know it's busy but not happy with our experience. Ordered food to go and was told 20-30 mins. Waited and waited and I didn't say anything as 35 mins passed because I knew they were busy. Bartender saw me and went and checked and she told me that she told the kitchen to hurry up. Another 10 mins pass and I asked a couple of tables near the to go area how long it took them to get food and they said not that long. It was over 50 mins to get our food and some of it wasn't warm and soggy. I saw a table with dirty dishes on it for 10 mins before it was cleared. I messaged the restaurant through FB messenger but no response. Bad experience with the restaurant and bad experience with their customer service. Not surprised it's not a well-reviewed restaurant. Only convenient to the mall, as that's why we picked it. read more

We have been a seated for over an hour with no food. Took them 20 minutes after I flagged a waitress down to get drinks. All the waiters and waitresses had to group together to decide who was working our table and then they finally sent someone over. It was clear our table was forgotten. We have now ordered our food and it's be over 40 minutes and not food. All while have to flag a waitress down twice for refills on drinks. I understand that it's hard to get help, but the dinning room is 1/2 full and I have watch two waitress stand chatting with the hostess, another taking on their cellphone, and yet the service has been terrible. I have seen multiple tables have to get up and ask for help or to get their order taken. This clearly is not a lack of help issue, it's a lack of motivation of employees helping where help is needed but instead standing around. I can only hope the food is decent at this point. If we were met this far along I would walk out. And after food arrived some was over cook greatly and other items, pancakes, were doughy in the middle. It was all consistently cold. Like it had been sitting for several minutes. The worst of it was I had eaten at other locations and bragged to the friends I brought with me today and this is their first experience and make me look bad for bragging. read more

We were in Destin in vacation and wanted some really good brunch. Most places this time of year are always packed. So we joined the waitlist from Yelp. Once we arrived we were seated immediately. The waitress greeted us promptly and got our drink and food order. Unfortunately, we did wait about 50 minutes for our food. However, it was well worth it. I had the spinach scramble and added mushrooms. It was absolutely divine! My son had the shrimp and grits. This young man has an very extensive pallet for a 15 year old and he was too busy eating to talk. My nephew got the biscuits and gravy with grits and bacon and he cleaned his plate. Overall a great experience and the food is decadent. I also got the Mule Mimosa and it was extremely tasty but possibly a bit overpriced for the serving size. We had a group of 7 and checked in online using Yelp. The wait time was an hour till check in. Our group arrived at the designated check in time and was given a 5-10 min wait time for a table. It turned out to be another 30 min wait. The most annoying thing about this is that there was a 2 top and 4 top next to each other and they didn't combine. The manager did apologize and give our table complimentary beignets. The server was great but the food came out with missing sides, and some omelettes were overdone. The experience was terrible. It was actually a joke. The hostesses are not welcoming at all. The vibes are that they don't want you at their restaurant. My experience did not involve actually eating. We arrived at the restaurant on Sunday, March 13 around 12:30 PM. We were told that the wait would be around an hour or so. Completely understood. It was a Sunday and very busy. The hostess claimed to have taken our phone number down to send a text whenever a table was ready. 1:30 goes by and we did not receive a text. We walk back to the restaurant and ask about the reservation. The same rude hostess rudely says she texted us "about 30 minutes ago" without verifying that the text was actually sent. Despite being told that the restaurant often makes exceptions to seat people so close to the 2 PM closing time, we were told we could not be seated and were referred to IHOP and Golden Corrall. read more

Wow , what a refreshing experience. A lot of restaurants in Destin have low quality . They take advantage of tourist And make you stay in and cook for yourself in your bungalow while on vacation. But not this place . They are yummy, yummy! Warm flaky biscuits. Great sausage and pancakes. Everything we ordered was great. And the service was prompt . This place is amazing! So many great menu options to choose from but Chicken & Waffles quickly became my favorite. Homemade chicken tenders and a honey chipotle sauce! Also their mimosas are great, have to try one. If Smoke is working we highly recommend getting him if you can. He's GREAT! Super personable and stellar service. Wish we had one of these back home. This is a breakfast brunch restaurant that has a full bar for mimosas, bloody Mary's and other special brews! The food has a southern flair with the city grits and bacon with a side of avocado paired with a cranberry mimosa just perfect. I have yet to try the Floridian omelet that my sister loves! I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict and it was marvelously delicious. I had the side with the potatoes and ordered this meal to go. It was so neatly packed together and nice and hot when I was able to indulge. The seasoning on the potatoes was absolutely delicious. The hostess is one of the best hostesses I have ever seen do her job. Her customer service was absolutely out of this world. Especially for a very busy Sunday brunch time. She went out of her way to ask a multitude of customers their name and dealt with disgruntled customers like a pro. The food always OUTSTANDING! read more

Crab Cakes Benedict was a HIT!! I'm not into eating under cooked eggs so I asked for mine to be fried hard. Tasted my grits and honey it didn't need anymore seasoning. It was made to perfection. Honestly everything I've tried has been amazing from sweet to savory. I love them so much read more

I have been several times, full plate and quick service. For sure get on Yelp and than put in your seat request, makes wait time at busy time get you in quickly. Can't name just one thing that is good, have never had anything that wasn't delicious! Always something new! read more

The wait was absolutely ridiculous! Waited over an hour when there was 3 empty tables. The customer service was awful! When I asked why there were empty tables I was told 19 people were waiting, but yet 3 tables sat empty for over 30 minutes or longer! read more
