The food was great! And the waiter was very nice Great service. And the atmosphere was really calm and smooth. Better then hotel breakfast.

I came here for breakfast this past Sunday at the tail end of our trip in Destin. I signed up for the waitlist but realized that it was unnecessary upon arrival, since the holiday crowd was pretty much gone. We were seated in a booth (by request) and our waitress came to take our order promptly. I ordered the Old School Wrap, which is basically a breakfast burrito (Gangster Style - which comes with beans and jalapenos). I asked for the burrito without sausage. The waitress alerted me that I could replace the meat with veggie sausage, so I took her up on that offer. It was absolutely delicious! The icing on the cake was the homemade hot sauce that she recommended. It was like a salsa verde but it was soooo good that I asked for some with my doggy bag. My son and husband were also pleased with their meals - pancakes and bacon. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will be sure to visit again when we come back to Destin. Sidebar - I left my keys at the restaurant and didn't realize it until I was 3 hours away!! LOL! I called the restaurant to see if they could ship them to me and they kindly obliged. I coordinated with Joshua (the manager) and he was able to ship them out the very next day. Big shoutout to Josh and Christina for their hospitality and kindness. Was looking for a quick take breakfast order and found Big Bad Breakfast. Called in the order on a Saturday morning during the breakfast rush and was able to pick up within about 15 minutes. Staff was very pleasant and had order ready with no issues. Great job and would pay a visit next time we're in the area. Sorry, no pics in this review. read more

This was our second time at a Big Bad Breakfast location, and it's just as good as the 1st time. The shrimp and grits have an impeccable flavor. I stare at the calories on the menu and order anyways. This is my splurge on vacation. It's just so good. My husband had a different type of grit plate and he left nothing behind. I know we won't shy away from visiting this place again! We were pleasantly surprised by how good this breakfast spot was during our recent visit to Destin. The service was excellent as well. This is our 2nd time at BBB and it was great. When we first walked in it was pretty busy but they were seating people as they were coming in so we sat down right away and we were immediately greeted by our waitress, Donna-she was great! We had drinks and our order in quickly. Food came out in less than 10 min and tasted fresh, we were literally in an out within like 20 min but didn't feel rushed. We will be back! Pancake- Was very good, came like! *We are always grateful when places have sugar free syrup Huevos Rancheros-Anytime this is on the menu I order it, it was very good, it is over grits which is different but the flavor really comes from the pico so ask for extra! Girlfriend and I came here for breakfast on a Friday morning and it's a pretty typical breakfast diner-sound of dishes clattering and coffees being poured...We were greeted by a hostess who looked like she didn't want to be there because she had just woken up which made our waitress a breath of fresh air because she was happy and welcoming and brought us our drinks right away-her coffee and my caramel latte were awesome! Went to BBB , Miramar beach , for lunch . Shrimp po boy and fries , and a spicy chicken sandwich and fries . Food was decent - had a couple of lunch sandwiches . Crazy white woman , so you can maybe id her, since they dont wear name tags, -waitress comes to table and demands we order drinks first . I tell her we want to order food, as we were really hungry - didnt want all the delays , when we wanted to get the food ticket turned in asap. She cops an attitude and I tell her so . Then she falsely claims she said hello to us and asked us how we were doing , and we ignored her , blaming us for her bitchiness. My wife was right there with me and she never said a word to us , until she demanded we order drinks first- acting and looking mentally ill . We don't want drinks first - we want to order food , and drinks can come with the food . She angrily takes the food order and storms off , as if we don't want drinks with our food now because we didnt order it in her preferred order. After she blows up , I tell her I don't want her waiting on us - who knows what will happen next. We , luckily, get a Normal person to wait on us . She should be fired . Happened yesterday at 1 pm. We've been here a few times, it's a good breakfast spot. The food is delicious but small portions. The service the first time we came was phenomenal! We also just stopped in on Easter and the service was lacking but it was also slammed due to the holiday so we don't hold it against them. Overall tons of parking which is a plus and located in/near outside outlet mall in Miramar Beach. Super convenient location for brunch after church, it's across the street from our church Destiny Worship Center. Inside, very clean and cute. Not a lot of "waiting space" so if there is a wait it can get a little crowded. All in all, a must try! read more

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and got our seats. It was clean and definitely kinda busy. We went around 11am on a Friday. Our server was amazing and was able to get me what I truly wanted for breakfast. The french toast!!! Everything else was good but not like that toast. My husband had the steak and eggs. He loved the steak but the eggs were ok. But when I went into the bathroom... Ugh. It was hard to find a clean one. They share a bathroom with the restaurant next door ( chicken&beer) and honestly that's what made me score down a little. Without the bathroom score it would be a 4. I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, largely due to the service I received from Rita. From the moment we were seated, her attitude came across as rude and unwelcoming. She seemed impatient when taking our order, interrupted multiple times, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. When we asked simple questions about the menu, her responses were short and dismissive. Throughout the meal, she rarely checked on us and appeared visibly annoyed whenever we tried to get her attention. Good service can really make or break a dining experience, and unfortunately, Rita's behavior left a negative impression that overshadowed the rest of our visit. I hope the restaurant addresses this, as customers deserve to feel respected and valued. read more
