The açaí blend was deliciousnot overly sweet and, unlike some places, it didn't have apple mixed in, which let the true açaí flavor stand out. The young woman working there was incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, making the experience even better. We also ordered two tuna sandwiches to go. My smoothie was delicious but the customer service needs a lot of improvement.. the girl who rang me up at the register was really sweet and friendly, but the other girls (there were 3 or 4 of them) were standing around talking very poorly about their job and people, quite loudly, and staring down anyone who walked into the shop and scowling -- maybe an off day? I had to wait fifteen minutes for my smoothie even though it was only myself and a woman in front of me and 3 of the employees slowly making the smoothies because they kept pausing to gossip about whatever is going on at work. I just wanted my smoothie. Which, was in fact delicious! We spent almost $50 on our order hoping to get the same great quality as last visit, only to be disappointed with a 30 minute wait + melted smoothie bowls + getting over charged + half of our order was incorrect. We left feeling very disappointed, nothing was done to correct the mistakes made, and we did not get reimbursed for the added expenses since the girls running the shop didn't know how to navigate the register. It didn't seem like there was a manager on duty, and the girls running the place were around high school age, and struggling to run a busy smoothie shop at peak hour on their own, which is understandable considering the circumstances. So. I would first like to say that the "be yummy" bowl and the cold pressed juice I got were seriously delicious. It was my first time trying an açaí bowl, and it was so so good. I am an avid cold pressed juice fan, and the detox lemonade was also amazing. However, our experience with the young lady behind the counter was awful. Our observation of her behavior (two days in a row) is that she obviously hates customers and her job. I asked a gal filling the fridge if I could chat with her outside, she followed me and I ended up telling her about the two experiences we had with this young lady. She apologized and said she would pass my frustration on to the manager. She said that the young lady usually works mornings.
