I went in there with my kids and bought some drinks, after 20-30 min went back and my daughter asked the barista for some water. She proceeded to ask her if we had bought anything and she said yes and told her what we got, she replied " ok it's going to be a few minutes." I waited with her for 10 min for water, the barista looked at us and proceeded to finish her drinks and then start doing other things behind the counter. Completely ignoring us! I had to ask another barista who helped us promptly. Honestly super disappointed at the service from this employee. read more

I love this place! Friendly staff! Cute little British lady is the manager and she is always so nice! I'll be a repeat customer for sure!

great service and yummy drinks. enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

My friend and I had just purchased two Grande Americano coffees for an afternoon pick me up while shopping. My Daughter- in- law joined us while we were sitting outside resting and drinking our coffee. It was very hot for a May afternoon( 91 degrees) and she needed a small drink of water. Starbucks REFUSED to give her a small cup of tap water because she had not bought anything from them!! I guess it didn't matter that I had just spent $10.00 on two cups of coffee there!!! It is unbelievable and unthinkable that a corporation cannot give a drink of water to a young girl!!! If this is the policy of the employees at this particular shop, then they all need retraining. If this is Corporate policy, then Starbucks deserves to lose business and have to close stores Nationwide. I know they just the business of three customers. read more

All of the coffee places and Starbucks around were like 30-60 min wait. We found this one, with no drive thru and no wait!! We ordered on the app and it was ready when we walked in. 2 coffees and 2 breakfast sandwiches. It was perfect! read more

Cute little Starbucks located in an outdoor mall. Was able to place an online order (including coffee beans) & pick up in a very short amount of time. I was greeted when walking in AND addressed by name when I picked up my order. So nice! read more

Iced coffee keto friendly. A large iced coffee drink is what I needed on a hot day. I love this Starbucks. I sat outside and enjoyed people watching with my coffee. read more

Starbucks - a man working at a counter in a coffee shop - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Destin, Florida

Everyone that knows me, knows that I am a fan of Starbucks and love to get my caffeine groove on no matter what city I am in. This is the case when it came to Destin. This Starbucks location was in the Destin Commons less than a mile from where I was staying. Each morning when I woke up I made sure to get to Starbucks for my eyeopening coffee fix. This staff at this location was super friendly. The first day in Destin I could not find the Starbucks and got really worried there might not be one, but I called the number listed here on Yelp and the young lady answering the phone gave me awesome directions around the Commons to where the store was located. Once inside they were more than happy to help give me my fix! read more

Ordered three hot coffees. Wound up getting an iced coffee in the mix. Line was too long to pester them plus I am not feeling well enough to wait anyway. This is why I have phobia of ordering coffee for other people. Now I get the displeasure of telling my wife she will have to drink whatever she was given. Enjoy. I thought after repeating my order three times to ensure the certainty of it, that would be enough. I was wrong. My fault. read more

Very nice. They made my coffee no problem after I accidentally mobile ordered it to the wrong location.

I've been to a lot of Starbucks in my time, ranging from all over the US and other countries and this one is by far my favorite location. The staff is very efficient and always kind. My order has always been top notch and always done in record time. This location is ideal for the morning commute. It's located at the outlets in Destin so I can't say how it is during the busy hours there, but I can say anytime between 7-11, I've been very impressed. Starbucks isn't necessarily cheap so you need to expect a quick and efficient experience. This location is so much more so than that on Grand Blvd. that location is a disappointment, maybe they need to transfer some of these employees there to train them. read more

My son ordered the wrong drink and they made him the right one at no extra charge. Awesome service!!!!!

Worst experience I've ever had at Starbucks. First they told me that it was happy hour so buy one get one free. Then after I ordered they said you had to have the app. One of us actually had the app but low and behold you had to have the coupon on the app which we did not have. There was a long line behind me so I just paid for the two extra drinks. Then they got one of the drinks wrong. We sent it back and they got it wrong a second time. Finally on the third attempt they got it right. You would think they would give us the two screwed up drinks but nope, they went in the trash. Will not be going back. read more

Terrible service. At most Starbucks, they ask your name then shout it out when your order is ready. Here, they don't bother. When my order was ready, I didn't know because the man setting them out didn't even raise his voice. He would quietly say, "Mocha Frappuccino" or whatever and get back to work without even looking around for the customer. Apparently, my drink had been sitting there for several minutes and I didn't notice because I couldn't hear him and I was sitting down and couldn't see over the counter. People before me were having the same problem. There was lots of discussion about whose order was ready and whose wasn't. Again, if they would just shout out the person's name like EVERY OTHER STARBUCKS there wouldn't have been a problem. read more

Never had a bad drink here! The two things that keeps it from being a 5 star rating is the lack of adequate seating inside(there is plenty of outdoor seating if the weather is cooperating) and location...it is not convenient (most of the time) to just grab and go based on the parking system at The Commons. read more

Starbucks coffee is always great, but we also ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was really good. Staff was very friendly. Most Starbucks have long waits, this one was no wait and got our drinks very fast! I recommend checking this place out! read more

The coffee and food items from this location are standard Starbucks quality. The service however left much to be desired on this particular visit. Our experience won't keep us from visiting other Starbucks locations but we'll think twice before dropping into this one ever again. read more

Worst Starbucks ever!!! It's nice inside but we waited 15 mins for drinks and we asked what happened to them and they said they never printed out our orders for the cups. Never got our drinks and had to leave. I would not recommend this one! read more

I think Katelyn does a great job with this location. Everyone is always helpful, including Katelyn herself. Staff is always happy to help me pick something new to try. Line moves quickly despite the high volume of sales this location does. Staff is definitely well trained and seems happy to be at work. read more

I can understand that it's busy, but if you can't keep up when someone is explaining the order SLOWLY & ONE BY ONE, at least say something. It was super busy so I just left pissed, no point in holding up a line and causing a scene, but the blonde haired girl with color on it at the register didn't need to roll her eyes during the process either. I've been a gold member (since I can't get any higher level) for over 5 years, this has definitely been my worst experience as well as mess up. We all mess up, but how you deal/act through a situation can make or break a business. It's horrible & i'll never come back. read more

We've stopped by this Starbucks twice in a couple days on this trip and haven't had a bad drink. Quick and consistent drinks & service.

It's Starbucks! It's smaller but it has fast and friendly service. I docked it one star only because since it is a smaller location it doesn't have evolution smoothies or fresh blueberries for their oatmeal. Cute little seating area out front was nice to enjoy the sunny weather while sipping my latte before the hustle and bustle of the mall opening. read more

Great baristas! Lots of personality. Drink ordered was satisfactory.

Horrible customer service. The barista lady was extremely rude to me and never resolved my issue of being overcharged for two kids drinks.

I don't give a damn how good the coffee might be. I'll never spend another dime with Starbucks as long as I live. You can take your corporate leadership's political statements and choke on them. read more

Agreed, not much seating inside, buts it's Destin, sit outside! They have a very nice patio area. Since it's in the middle of Destin Commons, I think the lack of inside seating is fine. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It's always very clean too. Great place to grab a drink while shopping. read more

One of the nicer Starbucks for sitting outside and engaging in people watching. Staff was efficient and friendly during a busy holiday weekend. Store was clean. Couldn't ask for much more. read more

Great drinks and great service! Especially Erin! Love to go there before work and will continue doing so.

This is a smaller Starbucks with only two small round tables and a larger rectangular table. The line is always short and it's location allows you to grab some coffee and walk around to check into other nearby businesses. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Destin, Florida

Sue and Chris always take good care of us and never have to wait long. Thanks guys

Friendly staff- clean restroom- waited in line but it moved quickly- coffee was excellent- great location to sit outside:)

The worst customer service I have ever had at a Starbucks! Was the only person in line. It took 15 minutes to take my order, make my coffee, and then clean up the Carmel all over the side of the cup! They wouldn't even give me a wet towel, they handed me a wad of dry paper towel to clean up Carmel all over the cup and my hands! Will not go back to this one! read more

Love Stephanie and her staff. Amazing. I'm a daily customer and have been for over two years. (I know, so ridiculous right!) my favorite thing is the entire staff knows my name, my drink, my likes and dislikes and they're like family to me! The only downside - it is so dang cold in there!!!!!! Especially lately - I get it, it's warm outside, but phew! It's a dang ice box in Starbucks lately! Jameson is one of my absolute favorite baristas, since the first day, until now - he has always been so sweet and friendly with me! Thanks Team Commons Starbucks! read more

Pretty typical Starbucks. Line was long but service was poor. Not a single smile or "thank you". Guess I'm used to my local Starbucks where baristas are friendly and warm. We just seemed like a nuisance to these. read more

Love this Starbucks location. One of my favorites and the staff is wonderful. As a gold member, I'll continue to go!

Love Stephanie she knows my orders especially when I am frequently traveling. She is the best!

The service and selections are what you get at every Starbucks. Except maybe they're usually understaffed. Disappointed that this is a "franchise" and they don't participate in national promotions or member rewards from the app. And what's up with selling coffee cups with "Orlando" on them when you're in Destin? read more

Coffee is always delicious but I was at this location one night and needed to make my movie which began in 20 min. The theater is 100 ft away and I almost didn't make the beginning of my movie. It was wall to wall slam packed and there were FOUR PEOPLE working, well I should say there were 4 people THERE and only ONE PERSON ACTUALLY WORKING! The male employee was busting his butt to run the registers and make all of the coffees by himself while the three female employees were clearly just trying to clean and stock stations to get theirselves off work as quickly as possible. They did not help take orders or make drinks, LITERALLY NOTHING while this place is too packed to fit another person in there. Why they didn't lift a finger AT ALL to help this hardworking young man, I have no clue? (they should've realized that helping him get the coffee out will help THEM to get out of there faster as well)... I will go back to this location for the coffee but if I ever walk in and see it that busy again, I'll turn around and walk out. read more
