He is a wealth of beer knowledge. This is a must stop for hop heads with at least 4 IPAs/APAs on tap most of the time. A wide range of beers is available for all tastes. The Dos Pelicanos Mexican Lager tastes like the original Corona before its sales went up and quality went down. They also have seltzers and wine for non-beer drinkers. Food truck and special events calendar can be found in their social media accounts. Live music on weekends. Numerous TVs to keep up with your team sports action. Trivia 6:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Music Bingo, fly fishing lure making, cigar rolling are scattered around the calendar. When mapping out breweries for the area, we came upon this hidden gem that we never seen on the map…read morebefore. It's located in Freeport FL just across the bridge from Destin. We definitely wanted to visit here since we thought it was a new brewery (more on that later). This place is actually in the backyard of a local High School. Kind of odd to be honest. There is a small patio on the side of the building. The front of the building was open beings it was a nice day outside. We decided to do a flight to try the beers. Out of all that we tried and sampled, my friend was a fan of the Cherry Limeade and Anchored Down was my favorite beer. After speaking with who we assumed is the owner, we learned this place has been open a few years. I even told the guy that we have came down here for the 3rd year in a row to Florida and never has this place popped up on the map or a whisper of this place was mentioned. He gave us a background on the place and the beers themselves. I also heard from another source that one of the brewers is from our Hometown of Louisville KY. We enjoyed our visit here quite a bit however it was quite a distance from where we were staying. I wish we had time to visit one more time but, maybe next time. It is definitely worth visiting.
