    Fish and chips

Stumbled across this cute gem of a place. Kate took care of me. Positive vibes and very friendly. I ordered the fish and chips. Homemade tartar sauce with a mustard twist? Delicious! Everything was great! Can't wait to go back and try more food.

Stop here NOW!!! The best pizza (I've ever had) and an atmosphere to envy. This is hands down the best food we found since moving to Florida and the most welcoming establishment we found to date. A MUST try!!!

Ham and cheese sandwich served with coleslaw, pretzels (seasoned and extra yummy) and a spinach salad with balsamic drizzle.

I ordered the ham sandwich and soup of the day, which was French onion. My daughter ordered the pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious. My toddler loved the soup so much, that she finished my bowl. The wonderful lady taking care of us (I believe to be the owner) was absolutely a pleasure. We really enjoyed our lunch and can't wait to come back.

Tristan just took over as head brewmaster this spring and the quality of his work is evident in every sip. You will also find Tristan serving up the product of his labors most evenings. He is a wealth of beer knowledge. This is a must stop for hop heads with at least 4 IPAs/APAs on tap most of the time. A wide range of beers is available for all tastes. The Dos Pelicanos Mexican Lager tastes like the original Corona before its sales went up and quality went down. They also have seltzers and wine for non-beer drinkers. Food truck and special events calendar can be found in their social media accounts. Live music on weekends. Numerous TVs to keep up with your team sports action. Trivia 6:30 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Music Bingo, fly fishing lure making, cigar rolling are scattered around the calendar. There is also a very casual run club that meets on Wednesdays at 5:30 and cools down with beer and trivia. Quick detour off Hwy 331 on the way to the beaches of South Walton. Stop by for a break in the traffic and get refreshed and stock up your beach beer inventory. They have cans and Growlers to go.

We definitely wanted to visit here since we thought it was a new brewery (more on that later). This place is actually in the backyard of a local High School. Kind of odd to be honest. There is a small patio on the side of the building. The front of the building was open beings it was a nice day outside. We decided to do a flight to try the beers. Out of all that we tried and sampled, my friend was a fan of the Cherry Limeade and Anchored Down was my favorite beer. After speaking with who we assumed is the owner, we learned this place has been open a few years. I even told the guy that we have came down here for the 3rd year in a row to Florida and never has this place popped up on the map or a whisper of this place was mentioned. He gave us a background on the place and the beers themselves. I also heard from another source that one of the brewers is from our Hometown of Louisville KY. We enjoyed our visit here quite a bit however it was quite a distance from where we were staying. I wish we had time to visit one more time but, maybe next time. It is definitely worth visiting.

When I heard about a Hard Seltzery, my heart dropped! These places actually exist? I love hard seltzers and a place main focus is seltzers, don't mind if I do! I booked this place with Meagan for a bachelorette party and when I say I've received the best customer service from her, I actually mean it! Meagan is seriously so kind and genuine. My pleasant experience started well before the trip. She was so easy to work with and explained all the costs and what we would be getting prior to the trip. She even sent me a video of the place which was great so me and my party could really envision what we were signing up for. Upon arrival, she gave my party the top floor. Semi-private which was good because we were some loud drunken girls! The outside is seriously so gorgeous and every little detail is super cute and aesthetic which was the vibe for the weekend. The different seltzer flavors were enticing as well and something I've never seen in Maryland! Originally Meagan had said we had to drink up to $500, but for some reason my party could not get to that level. She let us slide with what we had even though it probably hurt her business. If you want excellent customer service and cute aesthetic mid day drinks, don't skip this place!

I really wanted to like this place, but it ended up being a disappointing experience overall…read more The one standout was the gumbo. It had a nice kick to it, was full of flavor, and the $10 cup was a generous portion. My partner and I both ordered a cup, and it was easily the best thing we ate. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill. We split the fried redfish basket, and for what it cost, it felt almost criminal. There wasn't a price listed, so getting the bill was a shock (especially because all the other baskets were $30). The fish itself was decent quality, but the breading was heavy, bland, and overwhelmed the redfish. The curly fries were unique, but they left both of us feeling greasy and weighed down afterward. Service was mixed. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming, and our server was pleasant as well, though it felt like there was a strong push to upsell throughout the meal. In the end, two cups of gumbo, one fried fish basket to share, and our total came to $85 including taxes and tip. Considering the quality of the fried basket, the value just wasn't there. If the fish basket alone was around $50, that price is hard to justify. It felt more like a money grab aimed at visitors than a restaurant focused on earning repeat local customers.

When we got there, there was a 30 minute wait which turned to be around 60 for our party of 11. We even asked if we could break up our party to get seated quicker. Once seated , there were lots of open high tops available ! We were seated at a makeshift table in the covered patio area. Our server was really nice and on top of serving our table. Quick serving. If you like fried seafood (fish, crab claws app, shrimp) po boy or fried platter this is their main service. There are salads and gumbo , burger, and a couple other entree dishes. BLUF: Excellent food in a casual atmosphere…read more Local Catch has an unassuming building on 30A with an equally casual interior. Although this place has bar vibes, the food is elevated. We landed at Local Catch in search of grouper and we found it! I loved their blackened grouper with beurre blanc sauce, green beans and mashed potatoes. Before diving into the grouper, I shared nachos with the table and they too were surprisingly awesome. Local Catch makes their nachos with home made tortillas and something about how they topped them with pork, lots of cheese, and a little bit of a sweet salsa, madee them memorable. Other items on the seafood and American fare inspired menu include tacos, burgers, po' boys, steaks and salad. If I wasn't craving grouper, it would have been hard to choose. Service was excellent as well. We visited during the busy spring break season and there was plenty of parking in the private lot. In addition to indoor seating, there are also some tables on the front patio. I'd love to return and try many more menu items and my leam with a draft beer or cocktail.
