Great service and food. Didn't have reservation and walked in at 7 and were seated right away (it was a Sunday night). Had the eggplant parm (actual eggplant not that frozen Sysco stuff) and son had chicken piccata. We also enjoyed their bread. Both dishes were excellent. I love a lot of red gravy which this had and it was delicious. Parking might be a problem as there is currently construction in the area, but we lucked out with a spot in front. The woman who served us was lovely and accommodated my son. read more

A friend that lives in the area recommended this place. As we were driving through, we figured we'd give it a shot. We were the first table to arrive as we had an early dinner tonight we sat on the porch and watched the servers clean up the area in preparation for open. They greeted us kindly and set us swiftly. Once the doors opened. We started with the fried ravioli that was crisp on the outside and succulent on the inside. Do not sleep on the oil and bread. It may be one of the best combinations that I've had in any Italian restaurant. We kept asking for more bread until the oil dip was gone! They did have Christmas cocktail selections and I ordered the cinnamon old-fashioned. It was a nice twist having a fresh stick of cinnamon that was smoked through. Added to my drink. We shared the lasagna and a fresh pizza. Both entrées had super fresh ingredients. The restaurant is white tablecloth and luxuriously styled. But don't feel that you need to dress up here you're in a beach townand it's definitely laid-back. read more

Wonder romantic restaurant with amazing food and professional waitstaff. The only thing I regret is that I didn't buy a second bottle of the oil. Expensive, yes but nothing like I've ever had before. Savoring every drop till I get there again. read more

We were really excited to try this place. It had great reviews on yelp, google, and the guest book in our rental home. I am not normally one to complain about food but we were let down. We split the meat lovers pizza and it was one of the worst pizzas I've had in a restaurant. There was tons of meet on the pizza which was great, but almost zero sauce and the crust tasted like it was from frozen. My boyfriend said all he could taste was salt. However, the service was great and the vibe of the restaurant was adorable. Overall, would not pay 30 for a pizza we could not get close to finishing because of its flavor. read more

My wife and I are great cooks grew up in New York City and our Italian so we often are critical about our food when venturing out. We had dinner at Allis bistro. And was pleasantly surprised the table was great with great ambience the waiters very pleasant and great attention to detail Boltin one of the families's owners. Came to our table to greet us, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our dinner and felt the food and preparation was excellent. We would definitely recommend. Thank you Stephen. read more

Ali's Bistro - Espresso martini and wine - Italian Near Me - Fort Walton Beach, Florida

The service and food is fantastic . You can't go wrong with this spot . They have a nice little bar area with a nice selection of spirits

The outside of the restaurant is cute and quant, easily spotted from the main road, and looked very inviting. The large flat screen playing sports behind the bar, which is immediately seen to the right as you enter, screamed sports bar more than Italian neighborhood bistro. There were a dozen or so patrons packed standing around the bar, which is very close to the main entrance door, and created quite a bit of confusion as to where to check in to be seated. We were seated immediately despite not having a reservation (recommended but not required according to the website), and the waitress was quick to come by the table for our drink order. They have a decent wine and spirit list, but offer no non-alcoholic beer options. We ordered the bread and olive oil for an appetizer. While extremely tasty, it is a bit strange for this to be a paid appetizer instead of a standard starter as is fairly common for Italian restaurants. Refills on the bread were offered by staff but declined by us. The Shrimp Scampi was tasty, but not stand out in any way. The pasta is most definitely not made in house, and the inclusion an entire half of a lemon in the center of the dish was an interesting choice. The cost of the dish is a tad pricey for not all fresh ingredients. The staff are the stand out highlight for this location. Very attentive and quick service with a smile. Drinks were refilled promptly, and food delivered without an extended wait time. Excellent customer service all around. The food itself is average with above average pricing ($100~ for a meal for 2). read more

This is a special occasion dining place! Although the food is mostly very good it's extremely expensive. Your entree includes, a house salad and side of sliced potatoes and onions, baked in garlic, herbs, and olive oil only! Anything else is $$$$. The restaurants market price is usually considerably higher. Expect to spend at least $150. or more. read more

Fantastic! I had the grouper special, and I must say, it was the most fantastic grouper I've ever had. The wine list is short, but very thoughtful. The service was excellent, and you can tell the staff really knows their stuff. Most of the table had pasta. There was a point when the lights were dimmed in the evening, NICE TOUCH. The only bummer was styrofoam for our take away. Maybe it's a Florida thing? read more

Enjoyed a specialty pizza and glass of wine during happy hour at this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and a bit upscale which was a wonderful change of pace from all the seafood "shacks" I've been enjoying all week. The pizza was delicious- loaded with fresh toppings on a thin crust, and my wine was the perfect complement. I sat in the bar which was comfortable and had great service. After seeing some of the entrees coming out, next time I'll try pasta! read more

Second time dining there on our 1 week vacation turned out to be much different. The first time it was so delicious and the service was superb. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately we had a different server the 2nd time. Advice...ask for Nicole for your server and don't bother ordering the lasagna. 3 of us ordered it and none of us were fond of it. $25 for a single piece of mediocre lasagne with no side...? Pass If our server would have at least been pleasant it would have made the experience better. read more

Food was great!! Server was great, until he lost momentum. Came around in the beginning & then didn't come around as much. We got our food, but never got the bread to go with it till after we were done. Parmesan cheese & all were brought when we were almost done. Took a while to come around & bring refills. Greet place. But service could've been a little more attentive. My husband loved it. But come out anyway. read more
