Not so nice. Was like we were intruders walking in on someone's private party and the bartender was something of a trickster! So, they've got this "pay it forward" buy a beer for a vet promo going on and when I asked about it and if any of the the handful of guys there happened to be vets, they all shrugged naw or no. Our trickster baetender, though, pushed a play on words for her friend. "You serve", she insisted, which brought reluctant laughter from the bar and obvious embarrasment to her friend who shook his head in discouragement. He serves something, one of them quipped! And they all laughed.

Beer menu was good, they have a little of everything. I tasted the coffee blonde and milk stout and the bartender suggested having them together. Great suggestion it was delicious. My husband had the stout. Vibe is cool inside outside patio is great.

This one was on the radar because being from Louisville, Kentucky where a new brewery seems to open about every year, I like to see what other states have to offer and what makes them different from Kentucky. My friend and I were doing a brewery adventure and this one was located with a few others in Niceville Florida, which was not too long of a drive from Fort Walton beach. We had to park across the street because their parking lot was occupied by a food truck festival going on. We went in a side entrance and the place was very busy with the food truck festival going on. We were able to get seats at the bar and of course got a flight to try their different beers. The inside is quite small and kinda has a diner like vibe just the way it is set up. My favorite part was definitely the different military pins set up in a case. And I like how they have buy a beer for a veteran. I'm a big supporter of our men and women serving or have served our country. I wish we had places like this back in Louisville. We did go outside and check out the food truck festival. It wasn't very big and we got to sample some burgers from one of the food trucks. We also went and played on the giant connect four up front. Overall we liked this place and I love how they are big supporters of our men and women serving and have served this country. We probably would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't so crowded, hopefully we make it back next visit.

Great brewery in Niceville! This place is awesome. The owners - Parker, Jeff, and Galen - have done a great job creating a cozy, welcoming location that's perfect for hanging out and enjoying a great brew! Speaking of brews, they're all awesome! I tasted everything on the list and they're all great. Parker took the time to explain how they came up with each brew, which was just great. My favorite is the Alaqua Amber. Parker, Jeff, and Galen have a lot of great things on tap (see what I did there?), including trivia nights, music, food trucks, and tons of other themed events. It's a great location to hang out and relax. All in all, Bayou Brewing Co. is my new favorite in Niceville. I'll be returning time and time again. I recommend you do the same!!

I had 3 ipas, the mango milkshake was by far my favorite but the twin fin was just as great. My wife greatly enjoyed the amber. Sadly the sour was sold out, but plenty on the board to choose from. The food- the square, focaccia pizza crust was incredible, nice buttery crispy but light and airy. We got the sovran, however there were other creative specialty pizzas. Also, wings were great, good sized, cooked well, not soggy. Bartenders were bustin it out and super kind to everyone. Excellent service. It was busy, lively and a good time

We had planned to go to dinner at a tiki restaurant down the road. Just as we were about to get out…read moreof our vehicle, fights erupted around the live music area and started moving toward the parking lot. We took that as our sign that we weren't meant to eat there. So we headed to another place recommended to us by a local. We had planned to stop at Wood Foot Beer Co. after dinner to grab a beer. The second place we stopped at for dinner wasn't very busy, but after being seated, it took over 10 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. While we were waiting to even order drinks, we looked at the menu for Wood Foot and decided to go there for dinner instead. Rather than awkwardly leaving the second restaurant, we decided we'd just have a drink and then head over to Wood Foot. Wood Foot happened to be across the parking lot from the second place we attempted to eat. After the four of us had been eating a lot of seafood during our trip, we were all craving a good burger and fries or some other comfort food. Wood Foot definitely fit the bill. My husband and I shared the frickles and the Boss Burger with fries. The frickles were the best we've ever had! The burger was really good, and the beer was tasty, too. We love craft beer and enjoy trying different breweries while we travel. After dinner, once the patio had cleared out a bit, we went outside and enjoyed the live music on the patio.
