Why the other reviews on this restaurant are brutal, I can certainly understand. During day, it is possible there is a seeming lack of responsibility. Not only that, but it is understandable that customers would be thrown off by the sighting of unsanitary customs during a pandemic. The food is great, and usually as I expect it. Being a fast-food restaurant, it hinges on its repetitive menu, so the taste is roughly in line with any high-maintenance McDonald's. There are times when the drive-thru can be flooded, and that may cause time to be extended for food. What I have seen when working behind the counter, and on the opposing end, is that there is an active effort to maintain timely preparation. The taste is quality, it is majorly hygienic, and is often in line with regulations and standards. With the exception of the occasional slacker. Would recommend! read more

Bad service and bad employee who served us cold coffee, after we waited in an empty drive thru line at 10:45 pm on a Saturday night. No one came on speaker for 10 minutes so I drove up at 5 min to closing to order my coffees. I guess they just decided to close and unplug coffee at 10:45, as it was ice cold when we drove away and started to drink it. Swung back for refund but immediately got locked out. McDonald's stole our money. This location should hire new night lady. She's not a good person read more

I am actually appalled. I went to get fries today, just fries. I did not cut in line, I just pulled up as I was told, and they made me pay for the wrong order which was a lot more. They did not give me a receipt. After making me pull to the third window and wait 30 minutes while cars pass behind me and get their food, I was given a crumpled 5 and no fries. I did not argue, I was polite and compliant the whole time. Also their fries are always cold. Don't go to this McDonalds. read more

Got my order wrong multiple times had to go to the place 3 times for one order being wrong

I live in Freeport, Fl and get breakfast 5 days a week at the store on 331 South. Over the last week or so I have noticed a complete breakdown of the service I am getting. The last week things have gotten worse on wait time. I am normally at the store between 7 and 7:30. The last 2-3 days with 2-3 cars in drive-thru 2-3 of the 3 cars had to pull all the way thru and park in a waiting area for 5-10 minutes waiting on meal. I only order Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuit, apple pie and medium coffee. They have seemed to have lost their flow. Don't know what's going on but if things don't change I will find anther FAST food place. Needs looked into! read more

Previous reviews must be based on different management, because we found this McDonald's to be far better than we expected. The drive-thru was packed on a Sunday morning but double lanes moved it more quickly than we anticipated. The staff were courteous and engaged, and the filet of fish sandwiches were hot, soft buns were warm, and the fries were fresh. And all employees were masked. BRAVO! read more

Wow - went today and ordered plain cheeseburgers (burger, cheese and bun) for my daughter. We were actually served one with just a bun and cheese and no burger! Not sure how you could be that incompetent, but that's what you get with overpaid workers who don't care. read more

We visited this McDonalds yesterday. The drive through staff was wearing masks incorrectly with their noses hanging out and another employee was walking around inside with no mask on. Protect your family and go somewhere else. read more

This is definitely the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The wait for fast food is so bad that my last time here my mom walked to publix and grabbed a few items before we even made it though the drive thru. Furthermore our food has always been wrong and no one that works there seems to care. It's really quite a shame. We will no longer visit this location. read more

I was having trouble completing my online pick up order due to the bad ATT signal in Freeport. I went inside to get on the McDonalds wifi so I could enter my space number and submit payment. The sweetest McDonalds employee made sure I was taken care of as I was standing trying to get my order to process. A couple of other employees also offered to help me. The restaurant was so clean and up to date. I was thoroughly impressed. There was also an adorable senior employee who made sure I had everything I needed. This all happened on a crazy Saturday morning as everyone is leaving the beach. The employee who brought my food to the car made sure we went through our order (for 8 people) was all correct before she would leave. It was all good! Such a great McD's experience. read more

7/19/19 drive up & ordered large chicken nuggets at the new McDonald's in Freeport Florida off Hwy 331 next door to Dairy Queen and they only put (1) one sauce in bag when we asked for more since it was a large order girl at window told us her manager said no...and if we wanted more sauce we would need to pay for them...if they are that hard-up with their sauces they can keep them we won't be ordering ANYTHING from them again! So sad they are that desperate and cheap!!! read more

The McDonald's in Freeport Florida which is in the country panhandle of Florida I went in ordered my food everybody was extremely nice helpful rushing around the place was clean until I was standing there waiting and the person took my food another lady tried to reach for it to put it in the bag and she was too busy flirting with a gentleman so that she actually threw my food into a bucket and I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager and I said why did you throw my food and she goes it's no big deal it didn't hurt anything so if someone's willing to throw your food they're also willing to pick it up off the floor I haven't been in a McDonald's for a while because I have intelligence but I had to use the restroom so I thought I would purchase something but if you're not a four-year-old who has no culinary taste and you don't care that they throw your food and have zero service and compatibility when they are caught doing something trying to lie their way out of it try this McDonald's read more

Wow! Totally impressed with this McDonald's. Honestly it was a well oiled machine like it was run by Chick-fil-A! Both lanes of DT were wrapped around building but they were so efficient and friendly! The food was hot, correct and delicious! All other McDonald should follow their model! read more
