We love this place... the fact that FWB could take a dumpy old car wash and make it into something so cool is, well, so cool :) This is part of the food trucks at the corner of Miracle Strip and Eglin. Along with the Acai place this is a lovely place to sit and enjoy conversation with your family or friends while drinking an excellent cup of coffee and breakfast. Their coffee is outstanding and the baristas know how to make a great drink. I love the cold brew but their espresso is also excellent. A-mazing! We stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon after wanting to try a local coffeeshop and struggling to find somewhere still open. I'm so glad we ended up here. After taking the first sips of our drinks, we were blown away at the delicious espresso and went back to ask about the beans they used. That's when the barista told us she roasted them herself! In fact, the roaster is a short walk away in the same parking lot, and she told us we're more than welcome to stop in to take a look. There's even a cute sitting area for you to stop and enjoy your coffee. Don't let the food-truck front fool you. These guys know coffee! This place is so cute! The furniture setup is cute, it's a wonderful day outside so people milling about with all the food trucks and the whole target patio setup. Small parking lot shared with the food trucks & car wash There's a roasting room.. not sure if it's theirs or not. It it was a cool vibe here too The wait for my coffee took just a couple mins. The cashier staff were friendly but they basically take your order and close the window and then open, call your name, set drink down, close window.. friendly but that was a bit strange. No masks but this is florida. I got the omara - it's $5 so your normal coffee shop price. It's not too sweet which is awesome. If we're back in the area, I might try one of the caramel or lavender lattes next. They offer boba tea but it's $7 and in atlanta, it's like $3.5 so I don't know what they're doing with this boba that makes it cost so much. Coffee Ave is a great food-truck (Coffee-truck?) in "The Food Trucks on Florida Place," with the other food trucks like Rive Cafe and Sunset Bowls. The location shares it with those 2 other food trucks mentioned. It looks like an old Car Wash that got turned into a Food Truck park. The food trucks aren't really competing with each other, they synergize. For instance, at Rive, they recommend a Coffee Pairing from Coffee Ave. They have all sorts of items from cold brews, espresso-based drinks, pour overs, teas, and Cuban Coffees. They also have milk options like Oat, Almond, etc., for you lactose-avoidant people. The Cuban Coffees were great. They use sugar foam and milk (or your substitute of choice), thus giving it a sweeter taste to balance out the roast of the coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed it. They do take a while to make your cup. That could mean the beans are being grinded fresh, packed and pulled with the steamed milk. It was an good cup of coffee. You place your order and you wait. You can wait in one of the chairs. But you should stay close because they'll yell out your name. Overall, out of the coffee places I've tried in Fort Walton Beach, this is one of the better ones. Check it out. read more

Decided to check this place out and it did not disappoint!! The sunset macchiato is so good it's a caramel macchiato with a pump of raspberry. I had to get another dose of coffee before driving back home so I tried their signature drink. The Omara which had cinnamon and condensed milk in it, also a hit!! Good coffee! They had some seasonal flavors - I got a lavender/vanilla/blackberry iced latte. It was a nice mix of sweetness while still being able to taste the epresso. Decently priced and they had my drink out in less than a minute. The only real issue is that parking can be hard. Such an honor to be the first to give a Yelp review! Made a stop at Coffee Ave this afternoon as we took a walk around Fort Walton Beach. Placed right next to Sunset Bowls, this mini food truck pair made for the perfect afternoon snack. What I ordered: a capuchino and the "Daily Special", which I feel terrible for forgetting the actual name of in this moment. It was a cold iced coffee with a heavy cinnamon flavor, and it was AMAZING. I had to shoo away the grabby hands of my family who were jealous they didn't order one too. The guy at the cart was kind! There seemed to be a consistent flow of people coming by for their coffee and açaí bowl fix. We'll definitely be stopping by again before our vacation is up! read more
