On Sunday morning, I was looking for coffee in my area and came across Maas Coffee Roasters, which had good reviews. The coffee shop was 10-minutes from my place. The coffee shop had a beautiful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing, working, or playing board games. I ordered a hot Almond Croissant Cappuccino from the menu. My coffee order arrived in 5 minutes! It was hot, perfectly brewed to my liking, and I loved every sip. The coffee was a great start to my day, providing much-needed energy. read more

I was looking for coffee houses around besides starbucks, this tops starbucks by a landslide. The workers are so nice, the drinks are great and they have a ton of customizations like syrups sauces and sugar free options, and the place itself is super cute and lowkey. They also have beans they roast in house that you can buy. Great, 11/10. I normally drink black coffee in the morning but with all the different drinks i got the sydney sunshine and we have came back every day since!! read more

Overall good experience. The menu had nice curated options, however was a bit hard to navigate. For example, would have loved a simple list of their syrup/flavor offerings so I could just choose my own beverage. But, those options were not visible on the board (or I missed it since the menu was quite busy) so I felt like there was no choice but to pick one of their pre-set options which all had more flavors than I would typically have chosen. I had the massiato which tasted good! read more

Perfect start to the day! Conveniently located in a small business center just off Destin's main US98. The space is just the right size to welcome guests to settle into a small table or comfy, clean, and stylish couch or table. Or, grab a coffee and quality pastry for the road. Lavender latte and cinnamon roll hit the mark! Well-staffed with smiling and caring employees. read more

Barista had a horrible attitude..beans did not have a roast date and they could not tell me a roast date. Espresso is super bitter not sure yet if it was the bean or just not pulled properly. read more

Not happy. The lavender latte was bitter. This was in two, not one coffee. Also, I was paying in cash and was told that they couldn't break my hundred. Then charged the BS credit card fee- highway robbery! Went on Sunday the 5th in the afternoon, so perhaps have a meaningful talk w the Barista. With all of the other coffee options to choose from, should really consider all of this. read more

ABSOLUTELY delish. Very local and touristy. They have a live beach cam. We got the horchata iced latte and a lavender Italian soda with white chocolate cold foam. Absolutely phenomenal! Super super friendly and very cozy inside. DO IT!!! Get the drinks!! read more

Long line moves quick. Good service. I love the matcha lattes. The best around. Nice merchandise. Lots of coffee bean choices.

I've been coming here for over a year now and this is by far the best coffee in Destin. The baristas genuinely enjoy what they do which really makes a difference in your coffee. read more

Ok hear me out ! COFFEE and AMBIENCE was AMAZING ! What a cool spot . I just worked a 14 hour shift as a cop and I just needed coffee to get me home . I heard great things about this place . So you walk in and get hit with the smell of amazing coffee and baked goods . I told the barista I'm new here and I always get an americano since I hate a lot of milk which I told her. I asked what she recommended since I was hoping for something sweeter or maybe adding more syrup or a bigger splash of milk instead she offers me a latte ... I said those have a lot of milk which is what I'm trying to avoid and try something new . She offers me cold brew ... I was like forget it . I'll order my Americano 24oz light ice splash of whole milk with macadamia nut syrup and caramel . Couldn't taste any of the syrups . The coffee was very good but I just wanted something sweeter as I drove home to crestview and this was not it for me . She gave me the drink and it was DARK . I knew i wasn't going to like it. I want to try this place again but now nervous too some ppl like myself it's hard enough going in elevated coffee spots and asking for help . Or recommendations hence why I just go to 7brew since I don't feel stupid ... but I wanted to try something new .. read more

This is no doubt the best coffee in the area. I haven't had better coffee on the entire panhandle, from Gulf Shores on down to Apalachicola. Atmosphere is very cool, I love that they flaunt their imported beans with the burlap sacks on the wall. The girl at the counter was very welcoming and very helpful. My wife and I both loved what we got. This place needs more locations!! read more

Solid spot in Destin. I had a latte with 2% milk--would've preferred almond, but they were out (only oat available for non-dairy). The coffee was good and the beans are clearly quality--they sell them by the pound in-store, which is clutch. Also had a turkey and cheese croissant, nicely stuffed, and a Redneck iced latte with whole milk that was well made. Worth a visit! read more

Loved this coffee place we stumbled upon. Riding around the area we all were in the mood for coffee. Our family usually has different opinions on our coffee but we all loved this place. Maas Coffee roasters has an elevated style to making lattes and cold brews. Everything was so good and they did not water down their coffee a ton of flavor without needing to doctor up any drinks. Owners were super helpful and accommodating. read more

This is going to be a very sentimental review, so buckle up. I've been coming here regularly since summer 2024 with my baby (now toddler) and Maas has become so special to us. What began as taking my son to his physical therapy appointments in the building next door and stopping by to grab a coffee on our way back home, turned into months of road side mother-son coffee date picnics. Stopping into Maas for a coffee got me through some very hard days post partum and I'm forever grateful for the sweet memories I made here with my son. For a more "typical" review, I'd like to continue in saying: Coffee is so delicious! I get their Original Jeff (latte) and nothing tastes better! Tried most of the coffee shops around Niceville but always find ourselves driving across the bridge to come back to Maas. The staff are very friendly. Owners are routinely around helping run the show and tending to customers. Cute atmosphere inside. Wish they had an outdoor seating area and maybe a high chair. Coffee shops are not inherently "kid friendly," so I never expect much, but I've always felt welcomed here. Thank you again for being so special to us! Highly recommend falling in love with Maas too. read more

Maas Coffee Roasters - Outside grassy area by the road - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Destin, Florida

I came to visit from out of town and I was looking for a coffee shop. I visited the Wave destin and they do have good coffee but out of the three times I visited, it was always one person working and it was always slammed. Like one person cannot ring up 3 people and also make a cappuccino, prepare an açaí bowl and scoop up ice cream and not have a line of people waitSo when I found this coffee shop on yelp, I decided to check it out. The first thing that stood out was that there wasn't just one person was working here but there was one person at the checkout, one person making the coffee, one person stocking up and one person preparing the baked goods and the owner keeping the mood upbeat. I really love and respect when I see cohesion, good atmosphere and order in a business establishment. I had a chance to speak with the owner who was so amicable and kind, talking to me about the specialty coffee convention that will be coming to Chciago this year and how coffee loses its taste and freshness if it is kept out too long. I cannot express to you how much of a better mood I was in just being here surrounded by the various coffee aromas that I didn't want to get back to my kids and husband hahaha. There was a crowd of people there waiting to order/pickup their coffee- that's how you know you're in the right place. I loved the setup of the coffee shop and all the personal touches such as hand crocheted coasters. There were a lot of places to sit but a lot of the places were also occupied so couldn't take a picture but it's a cute place to come to and have a morning or afternoon coffee date. I ordered a caramel cappuccino and a chocolate chip scone. I didn't wait long for my order, it came out really fast and it was just what my heart needed. The coffee tasted so good and it was as such a pleasant and welcome change from Starbucks and Dunkin coffee. Don't judge a business by its review, go check it out for yourself. I read the reviews before coming here and I wasn't put off by someone writing that the coffee is pricey here because I love coffee and well, I'm willing to pay top dollar for top quality. However, I will say, if you buy your coffee from Starbucks or Dunkin, you will not find the prices here unreasonable but if you get coffee from McDonald's or Burger King, yes it's pricey. You can't buy this type of quality coffee and expect it to be $2-$3. It's a clean place inside with bathrooms. Parking is available but it is a little hard to find if you're not local, it's not exactly a spot that stands out like Starbucks but that's why I like it. Check it out for yourself! read more

Stumbled upon this place looking for a pick-me-up. It is furnished very nicely inside, if I lived nearby I feel like it would be a great study or reading environment. The staff were extremely nice. I ordered a matcha tea and a lavender latte. I like how the matcha had no sweetener, unlike some other places, and it tasted very real and earthy. They offer honey or any other syrup if you want sweetness. The latte was good and you can taste the espresso over the syrup. The espresso taste was a little strong for me but my party enjoyed it. This is a great stop for some caffeine. read more

Fantastic coffee and espresso. Best in the area and also conveniently away from the heavy tourist areas so no concerns with long lines.

I got an iced matcha latte sweetened with honey but I swear it was sweetened with LOVE. They put their heart and soul into that matcha it was so green and good I was BAFFLED. Amazing atmosphere and great barista. I highly recommend for someone wanting a good quality and tasting matcha. They also have many syrups to choose from. read more

Wanted to like this place, the coffee was good but not worth the price or especially the 25 min wait. Wouldn't wait that long again for it.

Was looking for local whole bean roaster. The product was great as well as service both times. Off the beaten path but well worth it.

Destin, Fl has a couple of petite coffee houses that could be described as satisfying and adequate, but Maas Coffee Roasters outdoes them all and provides you with that feel of home away from home. Their comfortably classic, yet modern, atmosphere of luxurious leather chairs, chessboards, books, and tables only help to emphasis the delight in that first sip of their perfectly pulled expresso shot, smooth steamed milk, and drizzle of chocolate in a finely hand-crafted mocha. It is the perfect place to beat the heat, enjoy a conversation, get a little work or study done, and to begin or end your vacation. read more
