The shot was great and very generously sized compared to other wellness shots I've ordered (4 oz). The açaí bowl was the real treat. My boyfriend and I stopped in here after shopping in the area. It looked super cute and clean and the menu had plenty of options. For the quality of the food and drinks I thought the pricing was reasonable. I make cold-pressed juice at home and was impressed with the energy shot I ordered. It was NOT sweet which I loved. I would not say that the service was anything worth noting. It was not terrible, but it was not good either. I am a server so I understand that working with customers can be quite complicated and sometimes infuriating. If i were a manager, I would be unhappy if my staff seemed that grumpy or disinterested especially to customers that have not been unpleasant. I would have given five stars, but I feel like the customer service needs some improvement. If lived in Destin, I would definitely stop here more than I should. :) read more

This place used to be a lot better. Over the last year or so their customer service went from good to really just bad. Rude staff & false advertising pretty much. I'm in Destin on the weekends and some late afternoons during the week. There have been not one but a few times that I've walked in, lights are on, it's 7:28 PM & they refuse to service because they "close" at 7:30 PM and they have already started to clean the place. The problem is the hours online & their door says it closes at 8 PM. The quality of the smoothies is hit & miss, sometimes the bowls too. This is one of the places I look forward to visiting the most while in Destin. Fresh Pressed juice is unbeatable. However, the experiences I have had during this trip have been such a let down. The actual juices that were received were indeed fresh and delightful. The service not so much. Rude and careless. Instead of saying they are out of something they replace it with a smaller option, but still charge for the original size. *Additionally, in response to the comment posted by Keaton from Formula Fresh, since I'm sharing my opinion publicly I will include my whole experience. This order for one large Clean Mojito and two 16 oz. "fresh squeezed" grapefruit juices were placed online. When we arrived to pick it up, in my opinion the cashier seemed very unpleasant. The other girl working to make the drinks had to turn to point out our bag in the drink cooler. When checking our order, I realized that instead of two 16oz. of "fresh squeezed" grapefruit, we were given two 12oz. bottles. It wasn't until I called and asked about the difference that I was told about the change. (The only two sizes on the online menu or any other menu I have been able to find only list two sizes, 16oz. and 24oz.) If I wanted two 12oz cold pressed juices that could have been made a day or even two ago, then that's what I would have ordered originally. I ordered two 16oz. "fresh squeezed" juices. If it wasn't possible to make that at the time , that's fine, just cancel it and say so. Don't replace with something in a lesser quantity. The price wasn't the issue and I didn't ask for my order to be refunded. read more

Formula Fresh is a much needed experience here in Destin. High quality ingredients, unique combinations, and great ambience. The current concept in practice is unreliable at best. I typically order smoothies or pressed juice and it is hit or miss. "Roll of the Dice" for quality is unacceptable. I've had to return several orders for wrong ingredients added or left out. It happens so often that I stress the exact ingredients when placing my order and I feel like lucky the times I'm successful. Today we ordered two pressed juices, they were blended not pressed. I had 1/2 beat pulp with the skin pieces, not cool. Management please correct the consistency, we really want to love this place. read more

This is probably my favorite cold pressed juice place In the area. I live towards south Walton and there used to be a location over there and it sucks how I have to drive all the way out here every time I want a juice but it's worth it! The atmosphere here is amazing with plentiful seating and a kinetic energy. The juices are phenomenal with a range of options and a grab and go section if your in a rush. Over priced for the quality. They ran out of dates so I asked for more almond butter. My smoothie tasted pretty bland, you could barely taste the chocolate or coconut. As I finished my drink I realized the smoothie has not been blended well and found a blob of almond at the bottom of my cup. I was pretty disappointed with this place. For what they charge and other reviews I expected better quality. The staff was friendly; the bathroom was nasty. My gf and I frequent FF! We love the atmosphere, quality and menu items offered. Our favorite is the "Be Yummy" bowl, which we have been told this is the most ordered item...and we attest to that! We recently learned that the business is under new ownership and luckily were able to meet the sweet, knowledgeable young couple who now own our favorite Destin spot! Our only complaint is that sometimes we go and the staff is quick and attentive while other times they seem rushed and the store is quite busy. While I don't mind waiting for my delicious bowl, I could see how some would be discouraged. Overall, we will always remain FF fans and see the 100% need for something of this nature in Destin. read more

very poor customer service. there was a 20 minute wait to order, but because they were busy and we weren't in a rush it wasn't a big deal. while waiting we heard an altercation between the two workers, which was awkward and uncomfortable. once we got the the cash register to order, the woman who was working was repetitively rude to me and my friends. we asked for water and she said that there was empty water containers and "good luck, it will be awhile" several other blatantly rude comments. the man working with the food on the other hand was very helpful and sweet, grabbed water for us after the woman denied it from us. the avocado toast and beach bowl were very delicious and i can only assume because the man made them. the food was great, but i think HR should pay closer attention to who they are hiring to interact with customers. read more

I came here last week, was super excited to get a smoothie from here because I love trying out new smoothie bowl places! But this one disappointed me more than usual. I'm allergic to bananas and even though I know most smoothies are made with bananas every smoothie place I've been to made a huge effort to make sure no bananas were in my smoothie. I told the cashier please no bananas in my smoothie as I'm allergic, and she assured me she would make sure no bananas got near my smoothie. After I left with my smoothie and took it to the beach, I took a sip and realized it was almost entirely bananas. After having an allergic reaction and my friends agreeing that there was definitely a ton of bananas in the smoothie, I was very upset. Will not be returning. read more
