The restaurant kind of feels like a bunch of different living rooms inside and out which makes it feel super comfortable and enjoyable! It was some sort of restaurant week so all 6 of us got the 3 course meal and we were all so full! I loved the dates appetizer, but the salmon entree was probably my favorite part! It was cooked perfectly. The banana bread dessert was very good too. We also split a crab cake and I would definitely order that again! Our server was so kind and made the experience great.

Excellent service from Sisco Excellent food from the kitchen…read more Excellent drinks from the bar. What more to say? The greeting from our server set the tone and standard for the evening. The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. And I wouldn't lower my rating .1 because of it I would go back to driftwood more frequently if my schedule fit their hours better, this place is top notch. Make your reso and enjoy We had 4 cocktails, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. Shared everything. Bill with gratuity was about $270. It was worth every penny.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

I had no idea they even had the private room in the back and that itself is huge with multiple booths, high tops, a private bar, and lots of floor space. The regular restaurant is also very large with a large indoor bar and outdoor patio seating as well. The service was absolutely outstanding! The bartenders made lemonade, sweet tea, and any other drink you could possibly imagine all from scratch. They were friendly and efficient. The staff was constantly walking around taking orders and cleaning up dirty glasses/plates. I have a nut allergy so I was asking about the menu items and one of them had pistachios and they offered to make the items without the pistachios on them for me which I've never had done before. It really made me feel special. This place is super cute and the food and drinks were 10/10. I'd definitely come back here for dinner or something.

This last time I went with a larger group, about 15 people. They gave us the "private" room so we could have conversations comfortably. Our assigned servers were great. Drinks, bread service, water were brought quickly. Appetizers did not take too long either and must say the Octopus and Tuna tacos were amazing! We all selected our dishes, and without any issues, they were all brought out. No one had to wait for anyone's dish to come out, they served everyone at the same time and made sure we all had exactly what we had ordered and needed. This time I went with the Branzino with the spinach risotto. And just this dish earns them 5 stars again. Really a great place to come enjoy great food, relaxing atmosphere and excellent service.

The restaurant had a steady crowd, but we never felt ignored or rushed through the meal. The tacos had a nice balance of sweet and savory flavors, and the meat was tender without being overly sauced. Our server stayed attentive the whole evening and checked in naturally instead of interrupting conversations every few minutes. Dipped in the beef au jus, it was so rich and flavorful. We both opted for sweet potato fries as the side and it was fresh, homemade and not greasy at all. My mom's lobster roll was also great, not over dressed and the bun was soft and fluffy, not over buttered. Will definitely come back again to try more.

We got there early for our reservation, but it was a busy night and the inside table I had already requested and reserved was given away so we had to sit outside. We asked about seating in the bar but we were told it was booked by a private party. (No one for this party showed up from 7:30-9:30 and the bar was as empty when we left as when we arrived.) They did have portable heaters outside so it wasn't too cold, but again, not what I requested or reserved. Our server was friendly and greeted us immediately, explaining the nightly special. We started with the Hamachi appetizer, a fun mix of yellowtail with passionfruit and gochujang. Everything about it was delicious but the yellowtail tasted much fishier than we've had elsewhere. Then the waiting game started. After waiting nearly 40 minutes our server brought the appetizer again so we had to assume he'd put a hold on our order and forgotten it. I went in to ask a few minutes later and our food was just now being staged. I don't mine if things happen, it's life, but tell us up front, say "whoops" and we will move on... Our dinner finally came out and it was really good! - The lovely Spensyr had the Table Wedge Salad, an interesting mix of Bibb lettuce, pork belly, and Tahini ranch, with a sun dried tomato compote. - I had the hangar steak with crispy fried potato and sautéed veg. It was delicious. Because of the earlier wait and mix up, we were offered complimentary desserts. Spensyr got their Key Lime pie and loved it, I got their white chocolate passionfruit cake dome thing and we each thought ours was better. * All in all it was a mixed bag. Apart from the overly fishy appetizer, all our food was delicious. The service was great, except for when they forgot us. The restaurant was comfortable and pleasant other than being kept outside in the cold with an entire empty bar.
